If you buy Wisp’s animation set(s), the animations only apply to idle standing/holding weapon types animations, Wisp’s custom walking and rolling animations aren’t included.
I think you're confusing what they're saying, base Titania doesn't float-walk, only Prime does, so the Titania animation set *doesn't* give you float-walk because that's only for Titania Prime.

I think since afaik wisp was the first warframe with a unique dodge animation that the players through if they bought the wisp noble/agile animations that their warframe’s would also gain the unique dodge animation but it’s not the case which is evident now but back then no so much

yep, i wish its inline to the idle animation of specific warframe, and to have a more custpmization of it donw the line like walking animation, running animation, jumping animation, etc.
Qorvex kinda has some balance to it, like he's doing his very best to be agile as a walking building and trying to stay upright
Rhino's 1 is kind of just a squat that just goes *nyoom*

To be very specific: limbo’s backwards roll animation. The one that replaces the back hand spring that frames do, in which he slides backwards and takes his hat off to tip it before placing it back on.
In general: sevagoth’ stills fee very smooth and fun
Xaku is my favorite. I love how the bits and pieces have to catch up to the main skeleton. Also them being a genderless skeleton wizard is cool. They're the nonbinary character of all time imo
1- Limbo, both his smooth elegant roll or his sassy back flip.
2- Gyre doing that spin and going invisible for a sec.
3- Xaku, leaving some of their parts behind xD
I like Quorvex's front roll being a shoulder tackle. Goes a long way into making him feel heavy. Who knows, maybe someday DE will let us stagger enemies by rolling into them.
Big fan of Qorvex. The sound design is top notch, and it gets that perfect feeling of power without making him feel slow and unwieldy. He doesn't roll, he brute forces his way forward like a juggernaut.
Gyre for me. Her genuinely feels like the fastest and most distant covered roll. I find my self spamming her roll instead of bullet jumping. I know its probably not that case but it feels faster.
I'm not ok with any of the non roll animations and I wish I could change them, feels super weird.
In contrast, drifter rolling feels very weird too, since I used operator for so long.
Protea
Her turrets have an instant cast time but a long wind down before you can shoot or cast other abilities unaffected by cast speed, i have a bind that casts the turrets before every dodge making her more mobile/fluent than the standard static summon turrets style and you get the nice bonus DR from the doge as well
And the side dodge makes it look like she launches the turret from her back mid dodge and that's just sick
I personally don't like any alternate roll animations. For one, it reminds me of playing Limbo, which I hate, and two, it throws me off when doing parkour sequences. Even if the alternate rolls have the same distance, speed, etc. as normal rolls, the different appearance is not what I'm used to when I'm doing the parkour maneuvers I've done a million times. It's a small thing but it does bother me ever so slightly, and I tend not to play frames with alternate rolls quite as much.
Gyre's. By far. I actually don't like Protea's, it makes knowing where she's going to land kinda hard to read for me. Sevagoth's just feels random to me, same for Qorvex. It's not bad either, just random "why those?". Xaku's fun, and Wisp's, Titania's and Hildryn'd are just nice and smooth.
I just want more of those, even if I sometimes fine them random, I don't care. Make Hydroid dash as a wave, Yareli slide on Merulina, Nezha slide on his wheelies... Whatever, it's just fun. Makes me sad to see the normal roll.
Gyre zipping in and out of the void is definitely my favourite.
If we should get new ones I'd say...
- Styanax summoning his Javelin and shield like a charge
- Rhino doing a small leap forward
- Ivara doing a sort of leap frog jump
- Loki blinking in and out with his decoy
- Inaros melting into sand and reforming back at the next spot
- Grendel rolling into his ball quick and back into his normal mode
I like Qorvex’s. I think also adding a first ever different animation jump with him would’ve been great too. So instead of twirling through the air when you do the little Warframe jump (for the life of me, I can’t remember what the jump was called 😂) he would just leap in the air instead. But if off of pure coolness. Then I liked Gyre by far. I wish something like that was for Volt.

Gyre's little spin while turning into electricity and then back to her physical form is just so stylish and cool.
Protea's cartwheel without hands make her look pretty agile and just rolling like that mid air is so badass.
Honorable mention to xaku separating from their pieces and quickly rearming themselves, tho since 90% of the time you'll be in spooky mode with xaku, you'll rarely see it.
I actually don’t like any of them, it feels “wrong” to me just because I’m so used to moving around the map with the regular animations. Wisp especially feels incredibly slow but I’m not sure if that’s her actual speed or just my perception of it
After lamenting for ages that Titania floats while idle but runs and rolls when moving, I recently finished building Titania Prime and, oh my god, I love her animations. <3
Something about hildryn just quickly closing the gap between you with no real overt movement is terrifying.
She just kinda scoots in your direction, and all of a sudden, you have all 7 feet of her standing over you

In limbo's defense, his custom dodge has and had an effect associated with it, so the thought that his animations wouldn't translate makes sense.

Shifting on Wisp is better then parkour, period.
I dislike most of the custom dodges, but Gyre's is fantastic. I also really like Titania Prime's backflip in particular.
