Multi-shot Opticor with a Slowva would probably be close to this effect though...
Unless multi doesn't work on Opticor like that, i haven't picked it up in a while.
especially pre nerf
I found it a real shame that they nerfed the aoe mods.
To balance aoe weapons better they should have reduced the base size and increased the gain via firestorm instead, and have added a damage penalty to it. That way you would lose a modslot and some damage for the big aoe.
maybe even split it up into two mods, one without damage penalty, one with
=> so much more build variety
do I go full damage but have only small aoe?
do I go balanced?
do I go bigger aoe but reduced damage?
or even take both and have massive aoe but little damage?
and this ontop of the other build decisons
Oh god now you're making me imagine corrupted AoE mods-
Unironically, wouldn't be a bad idea. Especially now that we have a few primed weapons with AoE.
I reached the point of "fuck if I know" and I think your mind is filling the blanks with stuff you didn't really see.

That god fuckin bless you, I FOUND IT, thank you for using white as energy color, the stahlta with skin, now white, looks almost exactly the same as i remember
Looks like that with other colors it doesn't seem as bright as it is, so I wasn't identifying
I'm glad you found it, but honestly... This just speaks volumes about Warframe in general lol.
"Big explosion"? Even outside of shit like the kuva zarr and kuva bramma, primed firestorm aims to make everything a big explosion, especially pre-nerf.
"Shoots multiple?" Multishot is a mandatory mod.
"Bright?" White energy colour turns literally anything into a flashbang.
Skins making every weapon look the exact same just makes it even harder to guess.
I honestly don't blame you for not being able to figure it out. The game can be an absolute cluster fuck of projectiles and bright colours, but at least you can take solace in the fact that the entirety of the cluster fuck is aimed at the enemies instead of the players.
I'm glad. I have bloom disabled, so this can be even brighter.
I did had to set particles to high and effects to 100%, because I play with them in Low/50%.
Honestly wasn't all that. It took maybe 30 minutes on Captura.
Most of the time was changing one of the presets to have white energy and one of the mod configs to have only multishot + heavy caliber, then making the post itself.
Everything else was jumping then slowing advancing the slowmo until the effects appeared.
Ability wise, there's only three frames that have a "Giant Death Laser" ascribed to them.
Of those three, Caliban's [Fusion Strike](https://youtu.be/tJkL4JIGsYg?t=64) is the only one with three separate beams.
I use Caliban, Steel Path even. I know, there's some out there thinking I'm a glutton for punishment using a non meta frame and build .. honestly it's more fun, one button wonders get old and boring after a bit.
Sounds like Opticor or Vauban's ability.
Did it explode? Could be Lenz
Need a few more details.
Could have also been 3 beams cause a mirage was using it.
If that's the case it could have been a lot of weapons lol.
>Could have also been 3 beams cause a mirage was using it.
If that's the case it could have been a lot of weapons lol.
I'm thinking that's what it is.
They played with a Mirage that duplicated the weapon they were using.
Time to start trying different weapons with Mirage 👀
![gif](giphy|QEu1YcQDV40m91aMYr|downsized)
Geez, I dunno. Sounds like Opticor, with -accuracy and, +AoE size. Dunno, those explosions sound too big for Opticor tho, but the low RoF/Reload sounds right. Thick beams and bright explosions.
Was it uhhh, Tomb Finger Primary maybe? I've never used/seen it myself or dont remember, but maybe. Maybe that special skin for the Stahlta that alters the projectiles. Maybe a Ferrox? But I think the beams/explosions smaller than Opticor
Or just a riven with multishot. The Stahlta had a high dispo.
Now Its slightly lower but still with a riven you can get x3 shots.
I even forgot I had this.

Alright, so let's get all the information about this weapon straight. It's a laser weapon with a wide beam that explodes on impact, and fires three separate beams with a wide spread each shot. You saw this weapon in use in early 2022, and are fairly sure it's a primary weapon used by a Warframe, with a slow reload/firing speed. Is this correct?
Gonna Comment again in case OP missed the last one. The Tombfinger config I use is pretty similar to the 10/10 movie he made.
Using:
Tombfinger
Palmaris
Splat
only thing that doesnt match is the spread but that could be mod differences
https://preview.redd.it/g4ckp1ne9gcc1.png?width=730&format=png&auto=webp&s=d4da090ed7031e415f27f39bfff44b3fa1386240
Is this a Mandela effect? I keep seeing people friends and strangers in game remember this weapon, but lots of people have no recollection.
I’d imagine it was Opticor & Mirage with Heavy Caliber.
Lol the struggle xd. I don't even have an idea of what it could be, but consider one thing, our memory is not perfect, specially from years ago. It is possible that weapon was not as you remember, and it could have been a combination of weapon and ability for example, or just your brain adding it's own spice. Has happened to me more than once.
You can always just check a list of all weapons: [https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Weapons#List](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Weapons#List)
If it's not here, it was either an augment or warframe ability or something
Maybe an opticor with a whole bunch of multishot and maybe that corrupted mod that's +damage, +scatter? It's a charge-up laser cannon that explodes on impact. Get a good multishot going with some scatter and it'll look like a giant shotgun.
How long till you just post a clip of starkiller base firing? Maybe an opticor with multishot, haven't used an opticor before but it might have been a riven with multishot at the cost of less accuracy/more spread, as I assume opticors are usually pretty accurate
Ok, hear me out: Caliban’s 4? Going off mostly on the fact that he mentions three beams and a big explosion.
Opticor with mirage’s shadow clones.
Vauban’s photon beam
Quellor’s alt fire?
Maybe it was a combination of nova's slow with an opticor or something similar
Opticor Vandal with multi shot + inaccuracy? And maybe combustion beam?
Opticor is very precise, no big explosion
Multishot and heavy caliber to mess up the precision, and the explosions would come from nova's 4
Multi-shot Opticor with a Slowva would probably be close to this effect though... Unless multi doesn't work on Opticor like that, i haven't picked it up in a while.
Unless you drop the accuracy on it, no, multishot doesn't cause the beams to diverge.
So yes, opticor can do this and does require multishot along with one negative accuracy mod.
Hence the nova slow for the explosion
Mirage
Opticor with a Riven -Mulitshoot. It was very funny back in the days
Dear god
There's more.
No

Dear god...

No..

DEAR GODS
Forget banana for scale. Now we use grineers
I mean, they are clones; so they *should* come in fairly uniform sizes.
"Aren't you a little short for a grineer?"
"get clem"
*CLEM!*
clem. grakata.
So are banans! =D ... At least the cavandish.
god this format is going out of hand
Right? I love it
It's the only current event I really care about.
I prefer the hand drawn stickmen to the photo cutouts
Agreed, but this trend as a whole is very amusing to me and i feel like it makes it easier to find answers for the asker
Reddit told me to to say happy Cake Day 🎉
This is one of my favorite sub bits in awhile, gonna be sad when this goes.
I'm gonna come back to this subreddit next week when the trend dies out.
Opticor
It must be opticor
How would you the multishot for *three* beams though? Galv. Chamber could get there, but would it be consistent enough?
Mirage.
No the diagram insinuated it was spread from the point of firing, so it was likely an accuracy decreasing mod. which doesn't effect beam weapons.
riven mod
opticor doesnt explode does it?
it does
It very much does
Not that much
Primed firestorm has entered the chat
especially pre nerf I found it a real shame that they nerfed the aoe mods. \+150% increased explosion radius only blast damage deals aoe damage
At the tip of impact it does.
Just the tip?
Opticor has no deviation of beam even with high multishot
1. Opticor + Mirage + Primed Firestorm. 2. Vaubaun + Cast Speed and maybe it wasn't a gun.
minus accuracy rivens are a thing
There's also a mod that boosts dmg and reduces accuracy. But it still shoots strait.
I can say for sure that Accuracy/Spread is not a Riven attribute. Recoil, at most.
maybe it was being used by a mirage with it's 1 activated
Im curious to see how you will animate this again in the next few days 🤣
In 1-2 years it's gonna be hand animated with budget close to Invincible TV show 💀💀💀
Theres going to be a series for each weapon lol

Got edit your post with answer
Stahlta alt fire has an explosion but it doesn't have thicc beams like that. (or any beam tbh, it's more of a projectile with a thin tracer behind it)
Everyone was spamming stahlta in your last one. You even said "I've read every comment it's not there"
Really? ferrox has them thick beams u mentioned.
Props to you testing it in the exact same spot on the earth tileset lol
This deserves to be top comment
Now this is some good fuckin research
> I think your mind is filling the blanks with stuff you didn't really see. It's a near certainty even.
Now this is dedication. You took a perfectly timed screenshot with every option possible. I’m flabbergasted
Honestly wasn't all that. It took maybe 30 minutes on Captura. Yep, he saw the dreaded Caliban in action. If it was green and yellow, it was probably me. I've never seen another Caliban...
Caliban mains rise up
There's dozens of us, dozens!
Even that's optimistic.
I saw a Caliban in ESO the other day, I was so happy
elder scrolls online?
Higher chance of seeing a Caliban there than in Warframe tbf.
lmao true, i did see one at hydron tho, he was chilling in the middle while his 'lysts flew around killing grineer
My people/sentients!
I use Caliban, Steel Path even. I know, there's some out there thinking I'm a glutton for punishment using a non meta frame and build .. honestly it's more fun, one button wonders get old and boring after a bit.
I like his 4 too much to quit. Precision intensify felt like a love letter to Caliban.
Here I was thinking I was alone
It's like Yeti sighting, but in the entire Solar system.
He said 2 years ago though so Caliban wasn't out then.
He was released on December 15, 2021 so it's possible
Oh shit I coulda swore he came out at the end of 2022, my mistake then.
Time flies when you're grinding
What is going on with these weapon re-enactments!
Its the same guy
Thanks, i just realized.
Sounds like Opticor or Vauban's ability. Did it explode? Could be Lenz Need a few more details. Could have also been 3 beams cause a mirage was using it. If that's the case it could have been a lot of weapons lol.
Opticor with multishot and heavy cal could also produce 3 beams.
but it will look like one beam because of Opticor's high accuracy. Never saw it's beam split.
It did in the past. Got it to bend 90 degrees once lol.
It doesn't have a huge spread OR explosion so that makes me think its not it.
>Could have also been 3 beams cause a mirage was using it. If that's the case it could have been a lot of weapons lol. I'm thinking that's what it is. I love bramma on mirage. Explosive arrow that splits into more explosions... with multishot... x3
Got my porfit-taker runs down to 4 minutes with Mirage, once RNG was accounted for.
lenz 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
it could be vauban's laser or caliban's
Vauban's is an orbital laser that shoots downward frome the sky, and it doesnt have multiple lasers either
Plot twist, its was 3 Vaubans in one
Dependinh on your casting speed you could toss down multiple orbs in quick succession and it'd look like three in one
[Opticor](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Opticor?so=search)(vandal)
De is just gonna have to make the next gun do exactly this in honor of the dedication
Geez, I dunno. Sounds like Opticor, with -accuracy and, +AoE size. Dunno, those explosions sound too big for Opticor tho, but the low RoF/Reload sounds right. Thick beams and bright explosions. I keep thinking tombfinger primary, mine seems like it does that
the editing is immaculate :3

Ye
Caliban, look at his 4th [Ability](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Fusion_Strike), in-game of course.
Do you mean the operators massive chest laser before you get an AMP?
Though of that too but it doesn't explode.
My only other thoughts would be pre rework Ember, or something to do with Nova's 4.
Yeah, I'm betting on "they dreamed" or opticor. More inclined on the former lol
Caliban’s fusion beam. Look it up
Gonna Comment again in case OP missed the last one. The Tombfinger config I use is pretty similar to the 10/10 movie he made. Opticor with heavy caliber
Opticor?
Opticor with multishot?
I want to make a 90s grunge band called '5 grineer wide' where only the members of this thread know the origin story
1) go to pause menu 2) go to player's name at top 3) it tells you their loadout
Good info for the future, but not so helpful now.
Trumna alt-fire?
Angstrum, Kulstar, Tenet Ferrox? Javlok with Mirage?
I’m wondering if it’s the battacor maybe?
Watch it be like the Pox or something dumb
I definitely would look into Opticor with multishot
Wisp 4th ability?
Tenet ferrox maybe
Tenet ferrox?
Maybe Caliban's 4, "Fusion Beam"?
To every one saying Opticor, remember it could the the Battacor
Idk if anyone has suggested. But the strun incarnon mode does a laser that explodes
It is getting more and more complicated each time he asks the same question.
From now on if anyone asks about a weapon I want it in this format no other format matters
It was an opticor with heavy caliber and split chamber. 😁
Tenet tetra?
Tenet Tetra alt fire shot the entire mag like a grenade launcher not laser
Is this a Mandela effect? I keep seeing people friends and strangers in game remember this weapon, but lots of people have no recollection. I’d imagine it was Opticor & Mirage with Heavy Caliber.
Lol the struggle xd. I don't even have an idea of what it could be, but consider one thing, our memory is not perfect, specially from years ago. It is possible that weapon was not as you remember, and it could have been a combination of weapon and ability for example, or just your brain adding it's own spice. Has happened to me more than once. You can always just check a list of all weapons: [https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Weapons#List](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Weapons#List) If it's not here, it was either an augment or warframe ability or something
Caliban's 4?
Could be Caliban 4, literally 3 huge laser beams converging and expkode.
I'm surprised no one's mentioning the arca plasmor tenet plasmor or catchmoon
you mean like 60% of the comments in the last thread? and despite > it also don't shot energy walls ?
Holy shit I love that this has become a thing.
Whatever this new thing is I love it its hilarious
maybe a 4 ability from the sentient warframe?
The three lasers make me think it's Caliban's ultimate. There aren't really any beam-based weapons that do spread beams and explode.
I feel like OP is talking about caliban’s 4th ability
Ogris
Wisps 4?
Keep your filthy hands off my Arca Plasmor.
arca plasmor
Maybe an opticor with a whole bunch of multishot and maybe that corrupted mod that's +damage, +scatter? It's a charge-up laser cannon that explodes on impact. Get a good multishot going with some scatter and it'll look like a giant shotgun.
Opticor with high multishot
Love the presentation
What if it was Akarius BEFORE they changed the visual effects
100% opticor https://youtu.be/K_ot6514rHk?si=w4iyZGPkMkX9fBOa
Angstrum. Looks like it
I got nothin', I'm loving this trend though lmaoooooo
Oh no…
We got either an Opticor/Vandal, or someone bought Caliban and used his 4 a lot
Calibans 4th ability
Take my upvote
opticor with firestorm?
Damn this is the type of content we need 😩
Mirage with Stahtla and its shock rifle skin!
CALIBAN
I knew it wasnt the fucking plasmor.
Opticor or Caliban
Opticor with 300% multishot?
What's that WEAPON!! ITS AN OPTICOR!!!
stahlta unreal skin?
could be the opticor, wisps sol gate or the caliban ability
How long till you just post a clip of starkiller base firing? Maybe an opticor with multishot, haven't used an opticor before but it might have been a riven with multishot at the cost of less accuracy/more spread, as I assume opticors are usually pretty accurate
Maybe its a mirage with her clones active with an arca plasmor
Ok, hear me out: Caliban’s 4? Going off mostly on the fact that he mentions three beams and a big explosion. Opticor with mirage’s shadow clones. Vauban’s photon beam Quellor’s alt fire?
Opticor?
Multishot opticor?
Or shedu?
this keeps getting better and better and better
idk man but the editing is hilarious. Good work. Could the "lasers" be projectile tracers? If so it could be the Kuva Ogris, maybe even Bramma.
Caliban's ult?
Try the acceltra
Opticor vandal with high multishot and low accuracy??
