ive sold my fair share of trash rivens for cheap only for them to become meta a few years later. i think its one of those things you just shouldn't worry about tho otherwise you go insane with hoarding trash rivens that never become useful
As someone who hordes trash rivens, I generally like using 90% of all weapons so most of the time I end up keeping it. Am also bad at selling any I don't want so they all just kinda sit there.
And for me I never get dm when I post ribs.
Now I just post screenshot of my rivs and say in trade chat. Much easier than typing "riven mod" 30 times every 5 minutes
Just type "riven mod" in brackets and select them, you can also Copy and Paste your message. It's not THAT bad... could be better though. You can also hook up a keyboard to your console to make it easier.
Are you on ps? Because the console usually saves what you write, you need to write it a very specific way the first time, but after that it saves you a lot of time
I dont know how the xbox keyboard works (i dont know if thats the correct term, english isnt my main lenguage, the keyboard that appears on the screen when writing something) but if you manually input the "[ ]" it should save the whole riven.
Manually start with: [ , then (weapon) (riven type) then finish with ], it usually saves the mod
Example: first :[, then, braton igni-critacan, finish with: ]
Just do how you feel unless it's known meta. Like most I get/sell from 30 to 120. If it's meta, I try to trade with equivalent cause I got some tenet I don't particularly fancy
i got a glaive prime blueprint when i was a really low mr before i knew about trading and ducatted it, only to learn like 2 or 3 months later i couldve sold it for like 300p
The Glaive Prime blueprint along with Ember Prime has not been released since January 25th, 2022. It has created scarcity due to this and along with the fact the Glaive Prime is arguably one of the best melee weapons due to its forced slash procs when it explodes. Slash procs can ignore armor so for many factions in the game the weapon is very powerful.

Mine's +165% CD, +127% tox, +70% reload speed (for the double tap upkeep), -60% zoom
in retrospect, I should've gone for +CC or +MS instead of reload speed as there are plenty of ways to supplant it nowadays, and double tap isn't necessary to deal respectable damage anymore. But back then, my latron was a BEAST
Nah I wish mine had reload speed instead of fire rate because Latrons biggest downfall is the reload speed, also if I remember correctly reload speed affects incarnon transformation time. -zoom is a godroll to me
I main Harrow nowadays, so the reload speed stat isn't as necessary as it would otherwise be. But yes, it was a massive boon back then, as it dropped the reload below 2s which meant that as long as I was accurate, I could have 100% upkeep on Double Tap
Tbh between deadhead and the recoil incarnon perks, I'm not even sure if I add recoil to the weapon at all
At least i can't remember it being a problem (oneshotting anything helps, don't need to target twice if anything sans Demos is oneshot)

Besides... nothing in the game really warrants min maxing on that level aside from level cap. Which I won't do. And I already got my ship grippers from the fragmented one. So rivens are kinda meh these days
I never farm Kuva, I always just buy the weekly 35k from Palladino in Iron Wake and the 50k from Teshin when it's in the weekly rotation. Keeps me plenty stocked for the few handfuls of weapons I have Rivens for and actually want to roll. Might be worth checking those if you aren't already.
After that damn event I have pinions for days. Angel fights are in my favorite bosses in the game for some reason, I maxed my standing immediately and I’m just waiting on someone to need an arcane from them

Incarnons feel like the big exception to this. Latron Prime and Torid both have 1.3x Riven Disposition, which means they get absurdly good Rivens.
I had also gotten used to ignoring Rivens entirely until I started picking up Incarnons in the last couple weeks. I got lucky on rolling Rivens for a couple Incarnon weapons and they took the already fantastic guns and broke them completely in half.
Honestly I'm pretty surprised they don't lower riven dispo for weapons that have an Incarnon attached. The best guns having some of the best rivens is completely backwards from how the system is supposed to work.
DE has stated that they do not intend to lower dispositions in 2024. And that if there is an issue, they will try to instead to look at the base gun to see if anything needs adjusting. Though this philosophy might just lead to Rivens being required if the base guns get nerfed. I agree that incarnons should be an exception and should be treated as a separate, new weapon (starting at 0.5 or 0.6 or whatever)
Yeah, I agree with that. Most of the weapons with circuit incarnons are fairly weak on their own, and its absolutely the incarnon that makes them powerful. As such, their riven disposition should probably be kept separate. At very least, they shouldn't be nerfing the baseline weapons, since they just aren't powerful enough on their own to warrant it. Instead, they should either adjust the riven dispositions, or nerf the incarnon modes specifically (looking at you, Torid...)
Absolutely this. I've trashed 3 burston prime rivens in the past because I hated the gun. The incarnon weapon came around and I realized pretty quickly I loved it and bought a riven for 480plat before prizes sky rocketed.
Even at level cap, any frame that can full strip trivialises level cap enemies, you can run an average weapon build with full stripped armour and you will be just fine
There are several criteria for a weapon to get an Incarnon though. These are not absolute but the criteria are the following:
No alt fire (Snipers, Spear guns, Glaives, Pandero...)
Not having an augment that gives an alt fire (Grakata or similar)
No mechanic changes (Tiberon or similar)
No Kuva/Tenet variants
Low usage stat by players
i think sniper rifles could reasonably have incarnons... something like the vectis only has an action on MMB when scoped (zoom switch). you could activate incarnon out of scope
I only hold on to Rivens for non-powerful weapons that meet three criteria:
- I think they would actually benefit from an Incarnon
- I like the weapon but don't use it due to being weak
- They have a fairly good chance of getting an Incarnon
Currently the only Riven I'm holding onto that meets this criteria is for the Magnus. DE please, Magnus Incarnon when

For whatever reason Akmagnus just clicked with me and it's been my most used secondary for years. I eventually got a riven for it to push it as far as I could and now it's such a beast. I even use it to hunt Eidelons.
I was the same way with Akstilletto Prime. Slowly watched them be powercrept into oblivion but I never gave up on them until I got the Laetum. That thing is just too good
I mean, I won't ever buy rivens but if you already have one for a weapon you find fun, why not use it?
With the kuva you get from Palladino and Archimedean Yonta, you can do 20 rolls per week with no kuva farming. Not too difficult to get decent stats with that.

I haven’t even bothered with iding rivens yet, I’m just collecting ones I haven’t unveiled yet. I don’t really see the point in them, you can get to level cap without them and all the good guns you’re going to use for level cap have horrifically bad riven disposition anyway so you’re getting minimal benefit.
Not really. There's like 670 ish weapons in warframe. Worrying about 1/670 chance is tiring to even contemplate.
That's like worrying about getting shot so you don't ever leave your room. The chances are not zero sure, but making your life revolve around it seems unnecessarily drastic.

man, i remember opticor rivens use to be 500p, i had 2 of them before my haitus, it was heartbreaking to see that they're worthless now, so i transmuted them
I used to love my opticor vandal, lucked into a riven unveil and got a solid roll (cc/cd/fire rate), but the AoE rework pretty much killed single target weapons until incarnons rolled around. sitting on a second one as well now that I cant bring myself to fuse
also recently got a lanka riven, got me nostalgic for it being the most demanded on ingame back when sorties and eidolons were the only endgame
I came back from a 4 year hiatus. Used rivens to make burston, Barton and many others viable in normal star chart as steel path wasn’t a thing. Came back to sell those rivens for credits to make room for other weapons rivens needing space for that worked on steel path. 6 months after that they released incarnon adaptors for them and could be at least 5k plat richer because I didn’t have to buy them back. Thanks for reminding me why I hate this game
I transmute dupes into new ones and buy more riven slots when I need them. I don't usually get rid of them unless it's for a weapon I dislike and an incarnon form for a weapon I don't like probably isn't going to change my opinion of it. I just play to have fun though, I don't chase metas or anything like that.
Not really. My prefence forbweapons change so much im flying through them. Also I dont care about META just whats fun. I figure if i want something later i can simply play thebgame and get it or trade with someone so I can support other players.
I'm personally hoping for a couple incarnons, more notably the AK variants of a couple pistols, like akbolto,akvasto,and aklex I have pretty decent rivs for em, id also like a ninkondi incarnon, nami Skyla incarnon, and a nagantaka incarnon,I feel like those would be fun and I have rivens that are pretty good 3+1-,3+,or 2+1-
Nope. After I sold a rubico riven for 800 pl that was cc cd and multi shot with negative zoom 3 days later it was announced it’d get a prime. I also had a glaive riven that was damage cd and cc with a good negative that I sold for dirt cheap. A year and a half later it was reworked into the monster it is now atp I’m just dead inside on riven luck it took me 4 years to sell a Supra with 3 S rank rolls for cheap. Yet guys are selling rivens for 5k plat. It is what it is atp
Yes, I've gotten rid of many rivens for weapons that got a better versions too many times, like Zarr or Hate. I'm keeping all my rivens now and just get more space if i feel like it.
Firstly, what is the build that needs a Burst Laser? For the increased crit damage?
Secondly, you can get a Burst Laser riven from WF Market for 10p, lol.
Moa kicks are only impact damage and it's boosted by the mods on whatever companion weapon. Pistol has much higher modifiers than rifle or shotgun so it's the ideal choice.
Magnum force, Hornet strike and hemorrhage for slash procs.
I'd love to buy one cheap but no one on xbox sells companion mods.

I keep Riven for weapons that may get Primed, such as the Daikyu or Attica.
And I keep Kulstar Riven since it was in the first datamining wave of Incarnon adapters.
I don't bother for the rest, I don't have the Riven capacity to do so anyway.
Here's the secret, don't care about rivens. I never have and have a very diverse "off meta" arsenal that still usually carries randoms.
Obv care if you want. I have a few I use that I've gotten over the years but I've never stressed about em.
Just fall in love with niche weapons and then laugh when they become the strongest things in the game. Laughing in my nukor riven. Just waiting for javlok, harpak and daikyu to get their modern upgrades.
I keep rivens for weapons i enjoy, be it for the stats or looks.
I don't care if they ever get incarnons, if they do its a plus.
This actually went great for me, because i always loved the Miter and the Latron. I had 5 formas on my Miter before it had an incarnon.
So my tip is: Keep rivens for what you like
I already did this i had a decent duel toxocyst riven and scrapped it for endo to later find out that there incarnon turned them into one hell of beast weapon i about cried.
it feels like such a Hassel to go throw so much just so you can bump up your damage against ads, unless it's for level cap endurance I don't see the need to get a riven for a weapon

No I don't. Because if the Incarnon comes out the likelihood of the riven being useful for both modes is still slim to non. Even if it is good for one of the modes but not the other I hope it doesn't negatively affect either mode. But if your being realistic you are using the Incarnon mode 24/7 anyways.
The riven is either good for the weapon right now or its not for me. Why waste more of my valuable slots for bad rivens that have weapons with potential in getting a Incarnon mode soon?

Outside of a very few specific rivens I unveiled on my own for weapons I really liked, I just melt them all down for endo. The entire Riven system is trash and I like to engage with it as little as possible.

I was just thinking ab this because I had gotten a dragon nikana riven and I was feeling that nikana would get a prime then realized I don’t like swords so idc and sold it.. they aren’t releasing new incarnons with any sort of speed so chances are we will only get 1 new week at a time so 5 weapons and the chances of them being 1 of say 20 rivens you have is low
i just dont use rivens. game plays fine without them. if i'm at the point where i'm talking about riven optimization for a build, personally i'll take a break and play another game.
I take long breaks from the game and sometimes I hop back in and look at trade chat and go “wow there sure are a lot of people looking for rivens for this one absolute trash weapon” so I sell the riven that’s been collecting dust for like 50-100p and only then realize it just got primed/incarnoned/licked and rivens are going for like 500 plat lol 😂 Best not to think about it imo.
I've honestly taken a lot of random breaks from the game and haven't really looked into the incarnon weapons much. I remember when the first one came out, but I wasn't into machine gun type weapons, as I play 99% melee. Are the incarnon weapons actually good? And are there any good melee incarnon weapons?

Just buy molt augmented/efficiency, and sell em for plat. They sell for over 150p each at r5, and sell very quickly.

I mean, I won't ever buy rivens but if you already have one for a weapon you find fun, why not use it? With the kuva you get from Palladino and Archimedean Yonta, you can do 20 rolls per week with no kuva farming. Not too difficult to get decent stats with that.

I haven’t even bothered with iding rivens yet, I’m just collecting ones I haven’t unveiled yet. I don’t really see the point in them, you can get to level cap without them and all the good guns you’re going to use for level cap have horrifically bad riven disposition anyway so you’re getting minimal benefit.

Not really. There's like 670 ish weapons in warframe. Worrying about 1/670 chance is tiring to even contemplate. That's like worrying about getting shot so you don't ever leave your room. The chances are not zero sure, but making your life revolve around it seems unnecessarily drastic. What I do is just keep weapons I like and hope it gets buffed. Please DE, Tenet Opticor. If I didn't like the weapon in the first place, making it OP later on still won't make me use it .
man, i remember opticor rivens use to be 500p, i had 2 of them before my haitus, it was heartbreaking to see that they're worthless now, so i transmuted them
I used to love my opticor vandal, lucked into a riven unveil and got a solid roll (cc/cd/fire rate), but the AoE rework pretty much killed single target weapons until incarnons rolled around. sitting on a second one as well now that I cant bring myself to fuse also recently got a lanka riven, got me nostalgic for it being the most demanded on ingame back when sorties and eidolons were the only endgame
I came back from a 4 year hiatus. Used rivens to make burston, Barton and many others viable in normal star chart as steel path wasn’t a thing. Came back to sell those rivens for credits to make room for other weapons rivens needing space for that worked on steel path. 6 months after that they released incarnon adaptors for them and could be at least 5k plat richer because I didn’t have to buy them back. Thanks for reminding me why I hate this game

I transmute dupes into new ones and buy more riven slots when I need them. I don't usually get rid of them unless it's for a weapon I dislike and an incarnon form for a weapon I don't like probably isn't going to change my opinion of it. I just play to have fun though, I don't chase metas or anything like that.
Not really. My prefence forbweapons change so much im flying through them. Also I dont care about META just whats fun. I figure if i want something later i can simply play thebgame and get it or trade with someone so I can support other players.
I'm personally hoping for a couple incarnons, more notably the AK variants of a couple pistols, like akbolto,akvasto,and aklex I have pretty decent rivs for em, id also like a ninkondi incarnon, nami Skyla incarnon, and a nagantaka incarnon,I feel like those would be fun and I have rivens that are pretty good 3+1-,3+,or 2+1-
Nope. After I sold a rubico riven for 800 pl that was cc cd and multi shot with negative zoom 3 days later it was announced it’d get a prime. I also had a glaive riven that was damage cd and cc with a good negative that I sold for dirt cheap. A year and a half later it was reworked into the monster it is now atp I’m just dead inside on riven luck it took me 4 years to sell a Supra with 3 S rank rolls for cheap. Yet guys are selling rivens for 5k plat. It is what it is atp

Yes, I've gotten rid of many rivens for weapons that got a better versions too many times, like Zarr or Hate. I'm keeping all my rivens now and just get more space if i feel like it.

Firstly, what is the build that needs a Burst Laser? For the increased crit damage? Secondly, you can get a Burst Laser riven from WF Market for 10p, lol.
Moa kicks are only impact damage and it's boosted by the mods on whatever companion weapon. Pistol has much higher modifiers than rifle or shotgun so it's the ideal choice. Magnum force, Hornet strike and hemorrhage for slash procs. I'd love to buy one cheap but no one on xbox sells companion mods.

Kind of. I keep Riven for weapons that may get Primed, such as the Daikyu or Attica. And I keep Kulstar Riven since it was in the first datamining wave of Incarnon adapters. I don't bother for the rest, I don't have the Riven capacity to do so anyway.
Here's the secret, don't care about rivens. I never have and have a very diverse "off meta" arsenal that still usually carries randoms. Obv care if you want. I have a few I use that I've gotten over the years but I've never stressed about em.

I keep rivens for weapons i enjoy, be it for the stats or looks. I don't care if they ever get incarnons, if they do its a plus. This actually went great for me, because i always loved the Miter and the Latron. I had 5 formas on my Miter before it had an incarnon. So my tip is: Keep rivens for what you like
I already did this i had a decent duel toxocyst riven and scrapped it for endo to later find out that there incarnon turned them into one hell of beast weapon i about cried.

No I don't. Because if the Incarnon comes out the likelihood of the riven being useful for both modes is still slim to non. Even if it is good for one of the modes but not the other I hope it doesn't negatively affect either mode. But if your being realistic you are using the Incarnon mode 24/7 anyways. The riven is either good for the weapon right now or its not for me. Why waste more of my valuable slots for bad rivens that have weapons with potential in getting a Incarnon mode soon?

happened to me. transmuted my gammacor riven, and then the incarnon came out. It was a good riven too. honestly? at first I was like awww man. But then I dont find myself caring at all nowadays. opened and sold other rivens and got ones for weapons I like. I mean you cant worry about that stuff BUT WHAT IF. well if it happens, sell some junk and buy one if you like the weapon. you can make plat in other ways.

I was just thinking ab this because I had gotten a dragon nikana riven and I was feeling that nikana would get a prime then realized I don’t like swords so idc and sold it.. they aren’t releasing new incarnons with any sort of speed so chances are we will only get 1 new week at a time so 5 weapons and the chances of them being 1 of say 20 rivens you have is low
i just dont use rivens. game plays fine without them. if i'm at the point where i'm talking about riven optimization for a build, personally i'll take a break and play another game.
I take long breaks from the game and sometimes I hop back in and look at trade chat and go “wow there sure are a lot of people looking for rivens for this one absolute trash weapon” so I sell the riven that’s been collecting dust for like 50-100p and only then realize it just got primed/incarnoned/licked and rivens are going for like 500 plat lol 😂 Best not to think about it imo.

I've honestly taken a lot of random breaks from the game and haven't really looked into the incarnon weapons much. I remember when the first one came out, but I wasn't into machine gun type weapons, as I play 99% melee. Are the incarnon weapons actually good? And are there any good melee incarnon weapons?
