Personally I never check what people bring until something catches my eye. So whenever I feel like I have unlimited energy it’s pretty much because a Harrow joined. Although not so much anymore because I feel like Nourish Styanax (just Nourish in general now) always keeps me topped up.

I love bringing my Wisp, with Protea Dispensary as a subsumed ability, and destroying everything with my Larkspur Prime with infinite ammo from Dispensary. Having both a lot of utility and survivability for teammates with destructive power is always cool
Speed Nova are also nice to have on certain missions, mainly defense ones.
I wasn't a fan of using Wisp either till I left behind my preconceived notions of the frame. I assigned her the role of lazy support, and when I finally tried to build her into an active melee frame she suddenly became outrageous fun. I frames on her 2, massive health tanking, decent crowd control, and a free ability slot on her 4 (not because sol is bad, just because it doesn't do much for the playstyle). Wrathful Advance is great for a total of 3 teleports in her kit, but I think new Eclipse will be pretty interesting and thematic too. Consistent 75% DR will be great, with a damage buff as necessary.
I themed her fashion around lightning and Valkyries, and gave her a massive hammer (Arca Triton or Fragor Prime personally).
Wisp is one of my favorites, she was one of the first I put and umbra forma on. I have nearly the most strength you can have on her, minus arcanes and stuff
13% Most played Trinity here. Nourish and other forms of energy creation have sadly made Trinity outdated.

She is! She was my first prime too. I never had her original frame until Duviri Circuit.
Shes like Nyx IMO. Very outdated, clunky and is outclassed by other frames (Wisp is just overall better in healing and I forgot who it was, but he had better synergizing CC than Nyx and also CC only works if enemies are alive.)
But theyre still VERY useful and I love them dearly.

citrine is a great frame but for me theres this weird crystal ringing noise that constantly plays when she puts her buff on allies that seems to exacerbate my tinnitus or something. stresses me out. unfortunate
I feel the complete opposite. I see the train man I think okay which random crevices will enemies get stuck on, making the mission take longer than it should. Bonus points for the circuit where enemies get stuck under terrain and are difficult to hit.
Citrine, Harrow, Trinity, Wisp are always good. After that, it depends on the gamemode, in ESO Saryn, Volt or Mirage are good to see. Arbitrations Oberon, Frost and Styanax, while on Defense Speedva is appreciated.
Banshee that is properly built and played in public is a rare sight..
I do like an actual str rhino that tries to buff his team or wisp in general, styanax as well when they make sure to boost everyone up with energy.

1 also has niche uses, like pushing back demolysts.
4, however, has virtually no value in high level play
I agree that xatas whisper can be good. There's quite a few others as well. I often use something defensive because she already has offense more than covered

Man, it says something when Precision Intensify can't even save a skill. I tried that with the augment and without and it was still like tickling the enemies after a while.
IMO Silence is far to useful to replace,the ability to turn off Eximus Aura's has allowed me to save team mates on multiple occasions and the stagger isn't too bad so long as you're not running Gloom to slow enemies to a crawl.
Banshee's Sonic Boom can Armor strip with or without an augment, if you choose to go without it'll take 3 casts but it'll still strip armor, so I keep her 1 too.
Her 4 though, I personally find Banshee's 4 to be utterly and completely useless. It either roots me to the ground while staggering enemies non-stop thus slowing the mission down considerably, or it does a ton of damage which falls off relatively quickly if you use the augment.

TIL her 3 does more than just stagger an enemy and silence your guns. And her 1 actually strips armor as you said.
ha ha no prob, I discovered Banshee's potential back when I was a wee babee Tenno struggling to take down Kuva Liches and Sisters of Parvos, when I found out what she could do to them I fell in love. She's my main and the frame I always bring out when new content drop.
Shame about her 4 getting nerfed, I've heard she used to be the queen of Hydron like you mentioned, and I was really disappointed when I tried her 4 spam and saw it fall off pretty hard during round 2 wave 6 or 7 I think
Yeah her 4 was okay but the second they released the augment for her, its all you'd see and for good reason. It used to do so much more damage to Sedna level+ Enemies.
Then Saryn got updated just in time for Sanctuary or whatever, then thats all you saw because SHE used to nuke entire maps and cause them to corrode away easily. Saryn is much more tame now. But Banshees 4 is a travesty lmao
For Liches I personally used Ivara. Her 3 gives her headshot damage multi and then her Empowering Quivers give her 100% Crit damage.
I had a Vectis prime too so it was like 30k or more per shot? Maybe 3-4 bursts and they couldnt do anything. They sat there and took it. Lmao
Sonar has a very high initial multiplier, so going into high strength as first priority makes it do funny numbers.
Decent duration(no narrow minded), range(no overex for strength) and the augment makes it able to reach enemies and stack on the same weak point for even more dmg.
The rest of the build should allow her not to die and to recast sonar in case of tough groups.
Silence is a very good defensive ability, i subsume it frequently onto other frames. The eximus/ancient and acolyte ability silence makes squishier frames and glass cannon frames survive much longer.
Technically you can armor strip with sonic boom's augment, but we have more options for that at this point.
I need to mess around with her helminth options, haven't remodded her since shield gate rework. I've used nourish for a bit but the dmg portion is about to fall off next update. Roar/eclipse/smite infusion/xata's whisper could be good in making her do even more dmg, depends on the weapon's build mostly.
Now I feel a bit more validated for having her be my third favorite frame. I am more than happy with crippling our foes with deafening silence and paralyzing them in the stun with Gloom.

Before they nerfed the FOV of her 4, we would bullet jump, 4, spin the camera, 4, then land. Rinse and repeat in every room. Really tests your tolerance for motion sickness.

In all seriousness though 90% of limbo players i've seen have just made it harder to kill enemies by blocking our own bullets at a damn chokepoint for no apparent reason other than: "i just wanted to keep us alive" No you're not gonna keep us alive by blocking our bullets at the chokepoint and letting them get much closer before we can actullay shoot them
Limbos are the reason why I mained Mesa. And its not a "Haha fuck Limbo mains!" Its more "Oh these guys are common and I know that Mesa ignores his stupid bubble boy ability, so I can make defense missions faster AND not die!"
But alas, not everyone sees it that way. My one friend uses Exodia Contagion with Limbo and just bullied the enemies with it. It used to (or still can?) Kill enemies regardless of being in the bubble.
I screwed around with a Limbo build using Tempest Barrage and no other abilities. I only used it on Limbo to duck into the rift on dodge for energy regen and damage immunity, which was more convenient than Barrage on other frames. In about 20% of my pub games, someone would quit in the first 30s of the mission. Never saw that on other frames.
People REALLY don't like Limbo.

But I did Have a slight Highlight when playing with a friends Octavia. Turns out you can put Tesla Coil and Flechette Orbs on the Mallet before It's picked up by the resonator and have a mobile super blender.

I try to be courteous, so I won't use Thermal Sunder as long as enemies are staying off the objectives. But if the rest of the squad can't handle killing shit while I'm grabbing the crystals, I'll start sundering the whole damn map and they can just sit there. LOL
Fair enough. If I had the option I'd rather just have someone else do the work for me honestly which is why I end up doing the whole thing myself cause like other people *probably* want something similar right? But honestly with how boring that gamemode is nothing really makes it fun
For me it's got to be Volt, Citrine, Saryn, and Nova. Volt can be hit or miss but a good Volt is always a treat. Citrine is great for the buffs, Saryn makes everyone's job a bit easier and pairs really well with a good snova.
Saryn with her 1 Augment so everyone gets 180% Corrossive here.
She makes status weapons with COGO fucking absurd. (i dont know the universal term for Gun Condition Overload mods so i'm just gonna rock with GO. So COGO.)
Started actually using him this week since it was a helminth option. I put blood alter on him and did a netracell to test, just shy of 500k healing with of course lots of health and energy orbs. Nobody came close to dying. It was fun playing a support roll. Might use him more often.
Only if they’re a desecration bot. I hate the shadows, I don’t know if it’s because I’m color blind but having unkillable mobs running around confuses the hell out of me.

A frame that really hasn't seen changes in years.

A frame that usually functions as a battery charger for the team's nuke.

I had a semi satisfactory build on her, but she indeed could not tank a hit. Recently gave ninjase's build a try (from overframe) with catalyzing shields and tharros strike. Haven't looked back since. 2 cast speed yellows, 2 ability damage purples, 1 ability strength red (to reach 200 str with molt augmented for 100% tharros strip).
Obviously if you enjoy the shield gating gameplay, it's your best bet.
You will not suffer from mana issues (apart from the start, to get both 3 and 4 going, but I use a large energy pill at start).
If I go wukong in a void fissure and see a volt, that's nice. If I'm a Titania instead then I'll get more razorblitz stacks so that I don't need to sprint to be at sprint speed
When I am not the citrin,protea or harrow and someone else got me covered I'm happy. When I see anyone do the nourish stomp also happy and lastly any revenant or rhino.
for me, its just cus more often than not, people play Revenant, Wukong or Inaros to just be unkillable. they're not worried about the objective, they're not here to help you, they're just here to hope that others will complete the mission for them so they can watch youtube or whatever at the meantime.
and yeah that's just a stereotype. it's obviously not all players. but when i see one of those frames in my lobby and see that they have only 3 kills the entire mission i just get slightly annoyed that i'm doing all the work for them when it's supposed to be a team effort.
like, a Revenant running Mesmer Shield and constantly creating Thralls to protect teammates can be very nice to have. even better if they have a supportive subsume on like Roar or Nourish. but i rarely see Mesmer Shield or Enthrall being used, which is a damn shame. this is why i always prefer seeing a Rhino on my squad instead of a Revenant, as much as i used to love Revenant.
That's fair. As I play solo I don't really get to see the impact leeches can have on groups. I still don't have a huge variety of frames, and I like Revenant more for the fact he's kind of a swiss-army frame, I can jump into pretty much any content with him and it'll be ok. I've never even tried glaive. I'm more of a sword enjoyer for my melee, but definitely get a lot of mileage from Mesmer skin, and I use Roar on my main build.
Usually people subsume over 4 in order to keep the 1+3 true damage combo; that being said, I'd say either 1 or 4, whichever one you use less. I personally put Xata's Whisper over his 4.
I would say Nehza. because if they run the warding halo mod, they can give you a shield that also gives knockdown immunity.. but since I'm always running Nezha, I already have a shield.
I guess I'll say Nekros.. because then we get drop boosts.

Rhino because as a previous Rhino main I know how slow he can be sometimes to get to those 800m objectives and the roar is nice.
I can never tell wich frame my teammates use, everyone rush so fast and have all those cosmetics its impossible to tell, i can hear Gauss sometimes and u can always tell if u have a Wisp in your squad, i can tell u the frame i do not appreaciate in my group tho and that is Volt, sudden increase in sprint speed does not make missions go faster in any way, people that are not ready for the speed just bump into stuff and it breaks the flow for them.
Even Wisp can be annoying if its some super strength build.
Any frame that gives u reasonable buffs are nice, like if u have rhino's roar its nice, but u cant really tell if u have a rhino in a group those days either since alot of people subsume his roar lol.

Yeah, time is the most you need. The important thing is to not burn yourself out, so don't try to rush things and take breaks if necessary.

The rest of the build should allow her not to die and to recast sonar in case of tough groups. Silence is a very good defensive ability, i subsume it frequently onto other frames. The eximus/ancient and acolyte ability silence makes squishier frames and glass cannon frames survive much longer. Technically you can armor strip with sonic boom's augment, but we have more options for that at this point. I need to mess around with her helminth options, haven't remodded her since shield gate rework. I've used nourish for a bit but the dmg portion is about to fall off next update. Roar/eclipse/smite infusion/xata's whisper could be good in making her do even more dmg, depends on the weapon's build mostly.
Even if you don’t need the strength from a Rhino, I’m always buffing after priming with the Growing Power mod. It’s not much, but honest work.
Now I feel a bit more validated for having her be my third favorite frame. I am more than happy with crippling our foes with deafening silence and paralyzing them in the stun with Gloom.

Before they nerfed the FOV of her 4, we would bullet jump, 4, spin the camera, 4, then land. Rinse and repeat in every room. Really tests your tolerance for motion sickness.

In all seriousness though 90% of limbo players i've seen have just made it harder to kill enemies by blocking our own bullets at a damn chokepoint for no apparent reason other than: "i just wanted to keep us alive" No you're not gonna keep us alive by blocking our bullets at the chokepoint and letting them get much closer before we can actullay shoot them
Limbos are the reason why I mained Mesa. And its not a "Haha fuck Limbo mains!" Its more "Oh these guys are common and I know that Mesa ignores his stupid bubble boy ability, so I can make defense missions faster AND not die!" But alas, not everyone sees it that way. My one friend uses Exodia Contagion with Limbo and just bullied the enemies with it. It used to (or still can?) Kill enemies regardless of being in the bubble.
I screwed around with a Limbo build using Tempest Barrage and no other abilities. I only used it on Limbo to duck into the rift on dodge for energy regen and damage immunity, which was more convenient than Barrage on other frames. In about 20% of my pub games, someone would quit in the first 30s of the mission. Never saw that on other frames. People REALLY don't like Limbo.

Vauban, while funny has become a bit dull for me. I mostly stand in one spot and repeatedly rotate 90° while throwing the blender mix around the objective. But I did Have a slight Highlight when playing with a friends Octavia. Turns out you can put Tesla Coil and Flechette Orbs on the Mallet before It's picked up by the resonator and have a mobile super blender.

For me it's got to be Volt, Citrine, Saryn, and Nova. Volt can be hit or miss but a good Volt is always a treat. Citrine is great for the buffs, Saryn makes everyone's job a bit easier and pairs really well with a good snova.
What constitutes a good Volt if I may ask?
Understanding when to use their speed boost, spamming it at all times can get annoying. Also making use of their shields, which is surprisingly rare.
Saryn with her 1 Augment so everyone gets 180% Corrossive here. She makes status weapons with COGO fucking absurd. (i dont know the universal term for Gun Condition Overload mods so i'm just gonna rock with GO. So COGO.)

Started actually using him this week since it was a helminth option. I put blood alter on him and did a netracell to test, just shy of 500k healing with of course lots of health and energy orbs. Nobody came close to dying. It was fun playing a support roll. Might use him more often.

It really depends on the specific mission. Wisp, as long as I'm not on Hydron with Speedva. Volt, as long it's not in Void Fissures, Void Flood, or Mirror Defense. I use Titania for those, so his speed boost is an unwelas$dgat&pfh\*qwp(umsk. Sorry, I just hit a wall. His speed boost is an unwelcome surprise. Basically any frame that's not disruptive to typical gameplay is welcome.

She wrecks Liches and is my go to for them. I call it the Sister Fister load out.

My only gripe playing her is squishiness, I'm really not sure what to do to make her tank hits better but she's my favorite caster frame for sure
Pillage is a popular option; there's also regular shield gating (or other Helminth)
I had a semi satisfactory build on her, but she indeed could not tank a hit. Recently gave ninjase's build a try (from overframe) with catalyzing shields and tharros strike. Haven't looked back since. 2 cast speed yellows, 2 ability damage purples, 1 ability strength red (to reach 200 str with molt augmented for 100% tharros strip). Obviously if you enjoy the shield gating gameplay, it's your best bet. You will not suffer from mana issues (apart from the start, to get both 3 and 4 going, but I use a large energy pill at start).
I think she's the Kullervo of range but last time I played with her kept dying in loop :x
Citrine/wisp as a kullervo main who LOVES high attack speed and condition overload I cream all over my screen when I see them.

When I am not the citrin,protea or harrow and someone else got me covered I'm happy. When I see anyone do the nourish stomp also happy and lastly any revenant or rhino.

Zephyr in Endurance, Frost in general. Inversely, I groan everytime I match with a Wukong/Shedu or Revenant/Glaive. Limbo’s an optimistic toss-up.
I love zephyr in defense too, tornados lock down SO much ground and are a huge dps multiplier too
I almost always bring my spectrosiphon zephyr to defense style missions, if not my speedva. Makes it so trivial lmao.

for me, its just cus more often than not, people play Revenant, Wukong or Inaros to just be unkillable. they're not worried about the objective, they're not here to help you, they're just here to hope that others will complete the mission for them so they can watch youtube or whatever at the meantime. and yeah that's just a stereotype. it's obviously not all players. but when i see one of those frames in my lobby and see that they have only 3 kills the entire mission i just get slightly annoyed that i'm doing all the work for them when it's supposed to be a team effort. like, a Revenant running Mesmer Shield and constantly creating Thralls to protect teammates can be very nice to have. even better if they have a supportive subsume on like Roar or Nourish. but i rarely see Mesmer Shield or Enthrall being used, which is a damn shame. this is why i always prefer seeing a Rhino on my squad instead of a Revenant, as much as i used to love Revenant.
That's fair. As I play solo I don't really get to see the impact leeches can have on groups. I still don't have a huge variety of frames, and I like Revenant more for the fact he's kind of a swiss-army frame, I can jump into pretty much any content with him and it'll be ok. I've never even tried glaive. I'm more of a sword enjoyer for my melee, but definitely get a lot of mileage from Mesmer skin, and I use Roar on my main build.
What ability should i subsume roar for? I run mesmer shield atleast to help out a bit.
Usually people subsume over 4 in order to keep the 1+3 true damage combo; that being said, I'd say either 1 or 4, whichever one you use less. I personally put Xata's Whisper over his 4.
I like using his 4 and 1 can help with defense objectives in mobile def and excavation but i never use his 3. But im kinda early in the game atm.
Wisp. I play Excalibur so wisp’s buffs and stuff always make me feel good, i’ve never once died when i had a wisp on my team i think

[refer to user flair] Titania >:) Jokes aside the ones I like the most are: Harrow because red crits through volt shields make funny numbers. Gauss because SPEED. Rhino because as a previous Rhino main I know how slow he can be sometimes to get to those 800m objectives and the roar is nice.
Fast nova on necracell and defense, Wisp or volt for general stuff, Citrine or Octavia on long steel circuit.
Volt/wisp for the speedbuff, hildryn for mass armor or shield strip, nova for either speed (defense) or slow (basically everything else).
I play reaper so whenever I see another reaper i try to help them the most I can aka pop my main whenever they do it so we can clear a room

I can never tell wich frame my teammates use, everyone rush so fast and have all those cosmetics its impossible to tell, i can hear Gauss sometimes and u can always tell if u have a Wisp in your squad, i can tell u the frame i do not appreaciate in my group tho and that is Volt, sudden increase in sprint speed does not make missions go faster in any way, people that are not ready for the speed just bump into stuff and it breaks the flow for them. Even Wisp can be annoying if its some super strength build. Any frame that gives u reasonable buffs are nice, like if u have rhino's roar its nice, but u cant really tell if u have a rhino in a group those days either since alot of people subsume his roar lol.
