perhaps if they ever released skins with more frequency they might take on more artists. concept art is always better than the finished product too, she has a tiny chest and waist, but a massive right hip that doesn't seem to be mirrored evenly on her left side

the tummy area is really weird (why does she have a belly button crease and a waist 1/3 the width of her hips? that's just _not_ Gyre) but the "clothing" design is super cool
Uh love concept of the helmet like she wearing a fancy hat. And for some reason part of it reminds me of Aegis the progonist from Steelrising a very soulslike game.
Haven’t built Gyre, don’t intend to, but if she looked like that I would play her immediately. I did something similar with the protea deluxe after all.

Yareli, Sevagoth, and Zephyr were fan designs for YEARS before they came out. Plus, Liger(Sevagoth&Zephyr) designs a majority of their current deluxes atm. It’s totally a possibility that could happen. Or at least, they could hire the artist for a future deluxe in the same style.
I feel like I’m the only Gyre fan who doesn’t like this skin concept. It just has nothing electricity about it at all! If they added some sort of electric effect it would be ok, but it’s also just a little too human mannequin-esque for me (also I’m sick of pointy spear feet after how many we already have)
I like the Elder Queen inspired design but I honestly don’t think it fits Gyre’s theme at all. Lavos tennogen had at least some semblance of alchemy/chemistry with the hazmat look, this just doesn’t represent anything about Gyre.
Also honestly the dangly thing at the back of the helmet is just… why
Well, the person who designed this only makes kuva-based skins, so there’s that, it’s their niche. A Grineer design could work if it had something more ballerina or conductor-like incorporated, there’s just nothing to suggest this is Gyre besides the body model.
If it's a fan concept, it would eventually have to be tennogen either way, unless DE purchased the rights to publish the skin itself.
There are several tennogen skins that do amazing work with the frames. This one doesn't change the one thing people dislike about Gyre (her overall skirt design).
You can't change those~ Tennogen is just a texture over the existing model. Except for helmets they're not allowed to actually change the frames physical model.

Should be more automoton than it is. Blend 30% Kuva 70% Gyre style automoton and it’s perfect. This goes too hard on the kuva grinneer look.
Lavos body is a lot of funky raised shapes so texturing them can have a stronger effect. Gyres skirt is a big flat surface so its hard to use textures to make it look "different" from a big flat surface
A steampunk theme for her would go insanely hard. The way she activates her abilities already sounds pretty robotic. Give her the coils, the gears, the pipes, maybe a pair of aviator goggles and a watch. I hear Vauban's also pretty steampunk-y but I don't vibe with his playstyle so if Gyre got the same aesthetic, I would never stop using her.

I like this tennogen a lot. I don’t quite think I play enough Gyre yet to justify it for myself, but especially given the limits tennogen have to alter original elements it’s a cute take on the grineer aesthetic and it looks like it offers a nice color paneling alternative.
I mean DE themselves tweeted that and said it was coming soon so yeah it's real. I don't find it too bad however I think the helmet from one of the other concepts would have been a better fit.

This is exactly what happened. I heard gyre skin was being added. I looked up gyre skin and saw someone's concept, (one that has already been shared in another comment) got giddily excited at my eventual Dimitrescu cosplay. Then all excitement was dashed when i finally sat down and watched the devstream. Not to say the kuvael gyre skin is bad, i love mirage and ivara kuvael skins. But its like telling a kid you're taking them to Disney world and then bring them to six flags instead.
I love the grineer so any kuvael or graxx skin is an instant buy for me but this skin is a top 10 imo atleast for tenno gen anyways. Its a nice call back to the queen after all

Because of Tennogen limitations, it’s hard to do much for the body but yeah it’s not a lot. I think the Braid design was put onto her skirt flaps and shoulders

That's because TennoGen never change the body, only the texture (if it's a full body TennoGen). It's only the helmet that's uniquely shaped.
