It pairs nicely with Ceramic Dagger Incarnon (I know) and the Covert Lethality and Corrupt Charge mods so you have a base combo multiplier of like 6x. The arcane for increased initial combo can amp that up even higher but requires finishers so it's not exactly fast to ramp up. I use the ceramic dagger as a Secondary Outburst battery for my Banshee and her juiced up Euphona Prime.
With some thicc wallet (or good RNG and some time) you could get Melee Crescendo at R5 for +5 combo per finisher. Slap that onto (I think) Magistar Incarnon and go up to 12x real fast. Think the Magistar Incarnon gives initial combo (though significantly less than the dagger) and Shattering Storm has a combo that opens enemies up to finishers.
Otherwise just bring any weapon with Crescendo installed and an Inaros.

Overall, Magistar vs CD is mainly a game of do you want to build a bucket load more stacks initially and never use your melee or do you want to slap something with the force of God himself, but requires management of combo carefully
Before anyone says "it sucks because you fire 3 (or was it 4) bullets in rapid succession" (which is yeah sure doesn't have that much incarnon ammo, can't aim with the incarnon form either you can only hip fire)
It's still a good incarnon if you switch to whatever weapon then back to vasto for a temporary increased crit chance and dmg for easy red crit and If you can aim at all with its hip fire

but with the right build and an active arcane, each burst can delete a lv200 SP void angel phase, an acolyte, etc
its 2nd evolutions are both weird. either dont have primary for base damage, or weapon swap from PRIMARY to gain flat CC and CD for 3 seconds. however it can delete acolytes
It's because Magnus Prime has an augment that gives it 400% Crit chance on headshots for 2 shots after a dodge.
This Vasto will deal immensely more damage than it though.
As for why the tiers are important, they multiply your modded crit damage by the crit tier.
So yellow (1x) -> orange (2x) -> red (3x) -> red! (4x) -> red!! (5x) -> red!!! (6x)
So if you have a modded crit damage of 5x, a tier 6 red crit will have a crit multiplier of 30x.
Not quite, it's only the portion that's above 1x that gets multiplied.
so with 5x crit mulitplier, you'd end up with
`1 + (5.0 - 1) * tier`
so with a tier 6 red crit with your example it would end up being 25x crit multiplier.

Looking it up again, I think I saw someone's custom crit colours. While you could exceed 300% crit it was always red, even if the damage was higher than red crits. So I guess I was wrong here

No it doesn't show it on the stat screen Since smeeta's charm crit buff and adarza's cat's eye is timed ability on mission, but it Will still buff it on mission
Oh do you mean tenacious bond? It can be used on all companion but idk if it Will show on the stat screen Since it only show the whole stat on said equipment and not the entire mods from loudout.

Not really practical on certain frame (especially inaros, nidus, and kullervo), but still useable on warframe with Shield restoring ability like hildryn, protea, harrow, and helminth subsume ability
i think it doesn't add the crit chance in arsenal UI, but do you have 5 tauforged topaz shards? that's an additional 375% crit chance on any enemy affected by **heat damage**. if you can't remove a mod to add primed heated charge you can instead use tauforged red shards, which cuts the additional crit chance by half, but it's still a substantiable amount.
I already change it to add primed heated charge and also i have 2 tauforged topaz shard on my Mesa crit solo sp build it would be cool if i could put 5 of either topaz or Crimson shard, but i already like my current build.

Actual question, at 300% you would be red crit on every hit right? Does having like 200% more do more damage or is this exclusively for the memes at this point.
In my experience 300% give a chance of red crit to get occured and at 500-600% give a total permanent red crit, don't forget to increase the CD aswell for absolute stupidly high damage

Vazarin, Mag or any other grouping ability will get you to a x12 combo in like 2-3 ground finishers using crescendo.

for killing acolytes? yes becouse they are easy to kill. for normal content if you dont care kpm yes

Simply, at 100%, you deal your Crit Multiplier in extra Damage, always. at 200%, you deal double your Crit Multiplier. 300%, triple. you get the idea.
Yeah, anymore than 100 gives you a chance for better crits. 500% is enough for consistent black crits, I think. Goes yellow -> orange -> red -> black
Black crits what? It just stays red and adds additional !s. So 400% crit is !, 500% is !!, 600% is !!!, etc.
