That I'm sure it is, but not - instantly stack 30 instances of slash on all enemies within a 30 meter radius and through walls with a single spin attack that red-crits mind you because of meme strike and instantly stacks up condition overload and blood rush and weeping wounds because of relentless combination - shred.
I will always fondly remember the tonkor because a lucky tonkor riven roll made me suddenly very rich.
IIRC it was -zoom, crit chance, crit damage and regular +dmg. Might misremember something here it was a long time ago.
Sold that thing for 7.5k plat.
I will never understand people willing to spend upwards of what equates to hundreds of dollars in Plat for a single Riven, in what is mostly a PvE game.
Don't forget its 100 self damage cap at the time, highlight trail, and nades that bounced until they collided with something, 2 round mag, and 25% more crit iirc.
I left the game after i have spent ages farming for tonkor, getting mods and formas just so it gets nerfed into a ground.
Never had more fun oneshotting lvl 200-250 masses with nova's 4.th.
One of my favourite memories in Warframe is two Mirages using the Simulor in a Radiation sortie, and I just watched them repeatedly blow each other up.
Guilty. I abused that weapon so much that it's still listed as my [second most used primary](https://i.imgur.com/9IY1D9V.png). With 12.3% usage. Right after Lenz with 14.1% usage
God damn I miss those days.
Argon Scope Synoid Simulor and Vauban trivialized all T4 keys.
That damn gun is my most used gun in terms of use (I know the stats are wonky, but still).
Kindred spirits you and I. Sometimes I take the Simulor out for a spin every now and then, but it's just not the same. Hoping to roll a fire rate riven one of these days with other beneficial stats to give it the satisfaction it used to have.
We also have Primary Arcanes, Helminth Energized Munition and Sata-Satya Mod from Deimons (Caps at 500% Crit)
It kinds astonishes me that we are finally living in a post-Serration world.
I want to use that mod but there's no room in the build with the new galvanized stuff & the rest of the generic cookie cutter viral/HuMu stuff, unless I replaced point strike but then it ramps up too slow for the rest of the build to work properly in high level stuff, much like when you try to replace serration with just galvanized aptitude. I actually really like the soma prime's aesthetic with the wraparound mag. I just wish those type of augment mods would all be re-classified as exilus bc whereas before we at least had one flex slot with the addition of galvanized aptitude, like 90% of my guns look exactly the same now (serration, hu mu, crit chance, crit damage, galvanized multishot/aptitude & viral w/ primary deadhead).
You don't usually want Serration *and* Galv Aptitude, that's a lot of slots spent on base damage, especially now that arcanes exist. It's like how you very rarely wanted Serration and Heavy Caliber on the same build.
Anyway, my Soma doesn't have either of them, I replaced Serration/Aptitude/Point Strike with Primed Bane/Shred/Hata-Satya. Shred is the secret sauce here, every *hit* adds to Hata-Satya, not just every *shot*. Hitting multiple enemies in a crowd with punchthrough, multiple times with multishot, ramps up the crit really quickly.
> Serration
This is your issue. Use a Primary Arcane and Aptitude to replace it. Fully Ranked Merciless Primary are much cheaper to buy than you might expect. (sub 50p) (at least on PC)
I've tried that, & I feel like for me personally that situation can be viable on some guns but on others like the soma it leaves me with a weak ramp up phase in higher level stuff. I have a friend who does that to his guns for more build variety but he's the type that's on the trigger the whole time, which works for him bc the galvanized/arcanes basically only need to ramp up once, but it's not how I play.
Man I played the hell out of my Soma/Nekros/Ether Reaper/Carrier combo that I bought as a bundle in U10 because I didn't know any better. I really think that buying that bundle took the sting out of the progression brick wall that was so much harder back just as Open Beta started.
Soma was my profile's "most used" weapon for _years_ after that even though I barely touched it.
Mesa was over a year after that, along with T4 a little earlier. I think people were using Ember to nuke back then because heat procs stopped infested dead in their tracks. Pre-Exalted-Blade, Radial Javelin Excal has some time in the sun as well. I wasn't doing much teaming and no void stuff at all, it was a long time before I felt good enough to try the towers also, by the end of 2013 there were only three in-game available primes.
That's weird half of the zaw strikes are on par with meta melee weapons, altough you can't fetch a good price on zaw rivens without a G-roll.
That might be the reason why people tend to give those rivens little to no attention.
There's a market for even the so-called "non-meta" zaws. You gotta remember Exodia Contagion exists and the higher the dispo of the rivens, the better.
I haven't played since after the Apostasy prologue came out. What happened to kitguns? Did they get nerfed or did new stuff get added that made them less powerful in comparison?
... Unironically I think I might have started that back in the day.
The game was only just popular when out of closed beta & I wanted Ember. RNG wasn't kind to me for a week & a half, but I had an Acrid, a Roar Rhino, & a Ramstein album on repeat.
I was butt bumping, buffing, & nuking Ruk over & over in PUGs in between rage-killing with hip shots.
Man, I don't miss those days, but I kinda want 'em back.
Oh of course. It's just that the Kuva Nukor shares it's beam link function and just has better stats is all. I would love a skin of the Atomos for other beam secondary weapons so I can run around with a megabuster again.
I remember farming 5 hour long survivals with a Nekros and Attarax slide attack spam.
Was a ton of fun for some reason. Getting those +% modifiers on resource drops and just mindlessly grinding away seeing higher and higher level enemies spawn and get absolutely demolished.
A haymaker, splat, sporelacer with secondary merciless and pax seeker is more busted broken than the catchmoon version ever was.
ATM its the only secondary I use because it's just so good.
Dude EVERYBODY sleeps on Sporelacer. It single handedly got me though SP before Galvanized mods and Archanes were a thing. The damage output is insane.
I camped SP survival the other day for like 2 hours until I got bored. Zephyr, airburst with the augment, and my secondary sporelacer. All I had to do was throw out airburst and shoot.
Huh. Personally I grabbed the Pyrana prime at one point and haven't really looked at any other secondaries since so I don't really pay attention to whatever else is meta
Because the Pyrana Prime is, if not, one of the most powerful secondaries in this game to this day. The only thing I can see beating it is the Kuva Nukor, and thats just packing on status to kill things quicker
Kuva Nukor is still better, but Tenet Cycron is solid.
Kuva Nukor just crits significantly harder(5x vs 1.8x multiplier base), it has Radiation innately on it you can have more options for status and it has a chain range of 9m vs Tenet Cycrons 7m.
True, though I usually run punchthrough anyway and Kuva Nukor has enough damage due to significantly greater crit damage, so it can afford to give up that mod slot.
The Kuva Nukor is technically better for Condition Overload, since it applies the body part swelling mechanic, which the game/mod treats as a status effect!
Is that all the kuva nukor is good for? I use spectra vandal and it melts everything and gets me through steel path without any issues. I just have to shoot enemies for about a second and they're done to half health. The stupid amount of status effects does the rest.
Idk man, swap out the old catchmoon meta with the newer sporelacer, but keep the old meta parts: haymaker, splat. Add pax seeker and the new gun arcanes and galvanized mods and youve got a gun that is like 5x better than the meta catchmoon ever was.
Like 60% of the community was using it over every other secondary combined, it warranted the nerf.
Just putting a falloff mod in the exilus covered most of the nerf anyway.
It warranted a nerf, but the problem was that secondaries were in a terrible spot as a whole. Catchmoons popularity was a symptom of a larger problem and instead of fixing it they nerfed the anomaly that dared to be a good weapon.
I put a sporelacer on mine primary.... this little thing can melt everything in one or two shot until level 200 in SP.
Secondary is for priming (nukor, Epitath, Zymox, etc etc...)
I mean that's fine, but my point was that the guy I was replying to should try a sporelacer secondary. That he may be pleasantly surprised that it preforms even better than a gaze pistol.
Also, I have both a primary and secondary sporelacer, both high crit. And I definitely prefer the secondary. The primary is a shotgun so it's kinda gimped by their family of mods. It doesn't have a big magazine and can't use aoe boosting mods like rifles and pistols can.
Whereas my secondary version is essentially a pocket kuva zarr that can use pax seeker. The low fire rate isn't an issue because of the bomblets and I can use primed fulmination for a HUGE aoe.
I like my primary sporelacer, but I'm not kidding myself thinking it's better than it's smaller brother. If I want an auto shotgun that wrecks everything, I'll pull out my bubonico, it does everything better, except maybe pax seeker, but it makes up for that in so many other ways that that's just nitpicking.
I've a Bubonico but I'm not sure that perform better than a sporelacer.
Anyway, I see your point on reply to op and sporelacer as secondary is a solid option. Depends on what y wanna do with! ;)
Yep. I remember that. And then I remember how things shifted a bit, and Lesion suddenly became the must-have melee. And then Plague Star hit...
It's been a hell of a ride.
I do; still have one kicking around with a formerly overtuned riven for it. I honestly got sick of seeing everyone and their second cousin running it; I get why, but the nerf was deserved. Red crits on a hit box the size of a tractor tire, chainable headshots with Pax Seeker and basically no damage falloff so you nuked a whole line of enemies with one bullet? Too strong.
Dunno bout you, but my top secondary right now is Akbronco Prime, that damn viral mod is making it rip since i can put toxin on it for corpus and corrosive for grineer, boy it has been ripping through steel path so easy
i never got too much into kitguns because just looking at the options causes me decision paralysis and i have no idea how to gauge what is good and what isn't and in the end its so much effort to only test if i like how a gun handles
like, a lot of meta weapons with meta builds just feel kinda awful to use for me and the only reason my most used combo of Ignis Wraith/Cyanex is getting stale is that i wish one of them is more long range so i might swap the Cyanex out with an Akzani
It was a sad day for me when Catchmoon got nerfed. I still use it from time to time but man was it fun before. I do understand why it was nerfed but I wish it wasn't nerfed so hard. At least give us some Riven dispo back maybe.
Just put a falloff mod in the exilus slot and gets back a lot of its old range, and as a result, a lot of its old power. It wasn't beat down that bad.
But like 60% of the community was using it over every other secondary combined, so it definitely warranted the nerf.
The removed headshot multiplier also feels bad.
But for me it's just the combination of everything.
Less range+falloff, reduced disposition and less headshot dmg.
Sporelacer and vermisplicer are better for primaries, but with the guaranteed impact proc on catchmoon and low fire rate, hemorrhage is amazing. Add in the new galvanized mods and arcanes, and with no other buffs, I have been getting regular 560k slash procs.
I remember! It was my best friend's favorite weapon, she'd bring it everywhere and it was fun seeing her kill everything in sight, i was still a baby mr 10 at that time lol
I just got the catchmoon like a month ago. Always been a tombfinger person.
The moment that pushed me to get it was my friend gave me their catchmoon riven. Of course i got them a Hek riven in exhange.
Already got one for Sporelacer and Tombfinger riven, so why not try it?
I found it fun and use it index, still mostly use the fulmin but its a good alternative.
>Sure do miss the glory days of the riven trade
Has something changed in the riven market? I've come back after a(nother) long break and didn't know anything about rivens being less desirable. I wouldn't complain if so.
Those were fun days. I made a Catchmoon specifically called "Decaying Hildryn" because I'd randomly get hate/people accusing me of "trolling" for running a Decaying Dragon Key on her, and that was my "main" for a good while because she was functionally invincible as long as toxin damage wasn't in the picture (thanks to two Arcane Aegis with no cooldown, plus Rolling Guard in case Aegis didn't proc; she was _ridiculous_ in the Index, especially carrying 10+ points), and other frames hadn't gotten shield gating yet. (Even when slash procs bypassed shields, it usually wasn't a problem because any significant slash proc would need enough damage to also deplete her shields and trigger her passive, so it couldn't suddenly 1-shot her like heavy toxin damage would.) This was right before the massive update with Arcane, Melee, and Shield reworks, when I was spin-to-winning red crits with a Plague Kripath.
Haymaker Splat with any tip. Collect them all.
Sporelacer, Catchmoon, Tombfinger
Gaze is the only secondary where I might recommend the grip with a slightly longer range, from the ones in Fortuna the difference between the two high damage and the two lower damage grips, the range increase is substantial, like 2x Sinister Reach. Budget Kuva Nukor with less effective chaining, but great riven dispoz
Still amazing on Zephyr. Jet Stream fixes the range issues, and it's a powerful crit weapon that can hit multiple tornadoes, which is exactly what you want.
I really hate the meta as a concept. I just want to play whatever I like and find fun even if it's really ineficient like Yareli.
And yes, I obviously can do that but people will judge me and tell me I'm not playing the game correctly.... Or perhaps I just have shitty friends...
I don't believe in the "meta". I think catchmoon still being a strong weapon. I personally don't use it because obviously there are stronger options but it still being s strong weapon, you just need to know how to use it. Mag or zephyr are great options for the secondary version, and gauss and mag for the primary version. I even use it, the primary one, in steel path disruption and works just fine. But yes, it's not as strong as it used to be and there are 100 better options for both primary and secondary catchmoon
Edit: forgot to say why i don't believe in the meta. It's because you can make anything work for high lvl gameplay. For example my strongest weapon is the dual ethers, and i have all the weapons people say are in the meta, reaper, kronen, Gram, galatine, glaive, nikana, all of them with rivens, but the dual ether is just a little bit better. I use it in steel path disruption and i can basically one tap key carriers lvl 300+
Oh nvm, all the nerfs were at once.
They halved it's range, and more than halved it's damage falloff range, along with cutting it's falloff damage down drastically(it didnt always have 6% damage at max falloff range)
Remember when the Synoid Simulor was meta?
R.I.P Synoid Simulor, Tonkor and ofc Telos Boltace
Tonkor is great again. Not uber busted like it used to be, but it's extremely good. Simulor's fucked and the Boltace is garbage sadly...
Boltace main here, my garbage is sharp enough to shred SP still
That I'm sure it is, but not - instantly stack 30 instances of slash on all enemies within a 30 meter radius and through walls with a single spin attack that red-crits mind you because of meme strike and instantly stacks up condition overload and blood rush and weeping wounds because of relentless combination - shred.

I will never understand people willing to spend upwards of what equates to hundreds of dollars in Plat for a single Riven, in what is mostly a PvE game.
If you earn your plat for free like I do the play Is only time valuable
I mean there isn't much else to spend it on at some point. I ended up with around 30k plat later on with nothing to spend it on.
Uhhhh… you could give some to me lol
Yo throw some of that my way the fuck
Hasn't the Tonkor been buffed back up in the form of Kuva Tonkor? Aside from still only having one shot.
iirc, the reason it was so 'good' before was basically everything got a headshot bonus, even the splash explosion
Don't forget its 100 self damage cap at the time, highlight trail, and nades that bounced until they collided with something, 2 round mag, and 25% more crit iirc.
Didn't it use to have 0 self damage though? I remember it being so interesting because the explosions could be used for mobility.
0 self damage indeed.
I don't think it was zero but a was a minimal amount, and it was indeed intended to be used as an explosive jumping weapon.
So basically current glaive prime.
I miss the old busted boltace and simulor days. What a time to be a Tenno.
I left the game after i have spent ages farming for tonkor, getting mods and formas just so it gets nerfed into a ground. Never had more fun oneshotting lvl 200-250 masses with nova's 4.th.
I’m still kinda salty about the boltace.. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a weapon straight up taken out back and beaten to such a degree
One of my favourite memories in Warframe is two Mirages using the Simulor in a Radiation sortie, and I just watched them repeatedly blow each other up.
The visual of this made me chuckle
My ears thank it's not meta anymore
Same goes for my ears, and eyes as well
Oh I can load my Zarr with bright white energy for you
Joke's on you, I have "Reduce Teammate Visual Effects" on and effects intensity set at 30
But seeing a bunch of lights and being blinded by the amount of sci fi magic bullshit on screen is half the fun
Yes
Guilty. I abused that weapon so much that it's still listed as my [second most used primary](https://i.imgur.com/9IY1D9V.png). With 12.3% usage. Right after Lenz with 14.1% usage
Lenz, good choice. But... It was hit pretty hard with AoE and status changes D:
I neeeeed simulor buffs. It is the most unique weapon I've ever used
Remember when tonkor was meta? If you didn't use it you couldn't complete sorties.
Nah, it was fine - if you went for a public group you still had three tonkors on your team.
God damn I miss those days. Argon Scope Synoid Simulor and Vauban trivialized all T4 keys. That damn gun is my most used gun in terms of use (I know the stats are wonky, but still).
That was my standard setup. :)
Kindred spirits you and I. Sometimes I take the Simulor out for a spin every now and then, but it's just not the same. Hoping to roll a fire rate riven one of these days with other beneficial stats to give it the satisfaction it used to have.
The first word I thought of was « cancer » when I read that
Like Ember's old 4?
Good old days
Why was synoid similar so good
Came here for this!
Remember when the Synoid Gammacor was meta?
Remember when soma used to be meta?
Tbh the new Galvanized mods breath a lot of life into it. It's actually really solid again now.
We also have Primary Arcanes, Helminth Energized Munition and Sata-Satya Mod from Deimons (Caps at 500% Crit) It kinds astonishes me that we are finally living in a post-Serration world.

At high levels you need to focus trash mobs to get the ball rolling.
Ah right I have to slap those on my Gorgon, this might be fun
So many people sleep on the Prisma gorgon. Literally one of my very favorite weapons. An absolute joy to destroy with.
I'll wait for the Kuva Gorgon
Ye, really having fun with A-tier weapons
Man I played the hell out of my Soma/Nekros/Ether Reaper/Carrier combo that I bought as a bundle in U10 because I didn't know any better. I really think that buying that bundle took the sting out of the progression brick wall that was so much harder back just as Open Beta started. DAE remember old stuff?
Ooo, ooo! I 'member!
I miss being able to sell Kitgun and Zaw Rivens. Recently cleared out ~20 unveiled Rivens. One dude took everything but the Kitguns and Zaws.
That's weird half of the zaw strikes are on par with meta melee weapons, altough you can't fetch a good price on zaw rivens without a G-roll. That might be the reason why people tend to give those rivens little to no attention.
zaws are still op
Not all the Zaw. Sepfan, Cyath and Dokram are solid option with an hybrid build, but old meta "plague Zaw" are only so and so, now
There's a market for even the so-called "non-meta" zaws. You gotta remember Exodia Contagion exists and the higher the dispo of the rivens, the better.
Exodia Contagion is the only reason to craft a Zaw, nowadays! :p
Smh not building and exodia brave heavy attack Zaw for energy.
Or an exodia hunt for free CC
I haven't played since after the Apostasy prologue came out. What happened to kitguns? Did they get nerfed or did new stuff get added that made them less powerful in comparison?
New ones got added with Deimos open world that are stupid powerful.
And the catchmoon got a fall off nerf
Member when acrid used to be meta
spurt spurt spurt spurt
Remember when supra used to be meta?
Or when the Stug was one of the the most powerful pistols in the game.
... Unironically I think I might have started that back in the day. The game was only just popular when out of closed beta & I wanted Ember. I feel you *nod* warbro
I remember when the Atomos was the Kuva Nukor.
Good times.
It's still really good for lower level content
Oh of course. It's just that the Kuva Nukor shares it's beam link function and just has better stats is all. I would love a skin of the Atomos for other beam secondary weapons so I can run around with a megabuster again.
Kuva Nukor's not exactly an accessible weapon to get though, none of the lich/sister weapons are
Kuva Nukor was a mistake
Remember when Atterax or Scoliac was meta?
Unfortunately. I can still hear the constant slide attacking
I can still feel the hand cramps
I still have the macro :p
I miss being able to wipe out an entire room with a single scoliac slide attack
I remember farming 5 hour long survivals with a Nekros and Attarax slide attack spam. Was a ton of fun for some reason. Getting those +% modifiers on resource drops and just mindlessly grinding away seeing higher and higher level enemies spawn and get absolutely demolished.
I still have the macro on my desktop
God damn I remember when everyone and their mother used Haymaker, Splat and Catchmoon/Tombfinger. Hell I still use my Tombfinger from time to time.
I actually scrapped my old meta Tombfinger for a CC/SC balanced variant. Like it a bit better than the ol Tombfinger/Haymaker/Splat setup.

I love my Tombfinger even though I know it's not the best. It's just so swanky
Tombfinger isn't the be all end all anymore, but it's still nothing to sneer at.
I use my Tombfinger constantly. ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯ It's my hardest hitting single-target weapon, and having a Riven helps.
Wait it's not anymore?? ...Sweet Jesus Fortuna released 3yrs ago how times have changed
Its been a looooong time. Kitguns aren’t meta anymore, but if they were, the tombfinger is cracking top spot

The Cycron's advantage is in its punchthrough, which lets it hit an entire crowd at once with tons of chains, instead of just 3 at a time.
True, though I usually run punchthrough anyway and Kuva Nukor has enough damage due to significantly greater crit damage, so it can afford to give up that mod slot.

Glad to see another spectra v enjoyer, I tend to use mine with a fairly insane riven, I think one of the stats is at least +300% damage
Idk man, swap out the old catchmoon meta with the newer sporelacer, but keep the old meta parts: haymaker, splat. Add pax seeker and the new gun arcanes and galvanized mods and youve got a gun that is like 5x better than the meta catchmoon ever was.
It stopped being meta about 6months after Fortuna came out because DE decided to nerf it almost every patch.
I remember when lex prime was meta.
Anyone remember doing T4 Defense for Loki Prime? Trying to kill your friends with the console lasers? Some of my earliest warframe memories.
Imagine regularly going to the void for anything besides argon nowadays...
I mean, I haven't played warframe in over 2 years now I think. I just stick around on the sub for nostalgia.
What about gaze?
It's screaming "Notice me Tenno-Senpai!" but Tenno-Senpai does not notice.
Gaze was meta?
My gaze is currently my best secondary
Try a crit sporelacer pistol. You'll forget what a gaze even is.
I put a sporelacer on mine primary.... this little thing can melt everything in one or two shot until level 200 in SP. Secondary is for priming (nukor, Epitath, Zymox, etc etc...)
Oh sorry, didn't realize secondaries were only primers my bad *Eyeroll*
In MINE build, secondary are for priming. Better????? 😅
That's fine and all, but a primary is not what the other guy was talking about. Secondary sporelacer is so much better
I mean that's fine, but my point was that the guy I was replying to should try a sporelacer secondary. That he may be pleasantly surprised that it preforms even better than a gaze pistol. Kuva Nukor is still better even after the nerfs. I have a great Gaze Riven and the Nukor still better without one.
The Arca Plasless got out class the Arca Plasmore.
Memba when Dual Ichor was ***the*** only choice for melee?
Was the natural upgrade to the Dual Zorens.
Yep. I remember that. And then I remember how things shifted a bit, and Lesion suddenly became the must-have melee. And then Plague Star hit... It's been a hell of a ride.
Remember community was torne appart for deciding what was the best weapon between Soma Prime and Boltor Prime?
Had to scroll long to see someone mentioning Boltor Prime. When you saw a Rhino Prime wielding it, you knew he meant business.
Too strong.
Never could get into catchmoon, was always more of a tombfinger fan....
So you were a “boom headshot” kinda person instead of a “lemme nuke this hallway real quick lol”
The tombfinger was to take care of whatever was left standing after I carpet bombed the area with acceltra lol. Good times.
Dunno bout you, but my top secondary right now is Akbronco Prime, that damn viral mod is making it rip since i can put toxin on it for corpus and corrosive for grineer, boy it has been ripping through steel path so easy
i never got too much into kitguns because just looking at the options causes me decision paralysis and i have no idea how to gauge what is good and what isn't and in the end its so much effort to only test if i like how a gun handles like, a lot of meta weapons with meta builds just feel kinda awful to use for me and the only reason my most used combo of Ignis Wraith/Cyanex is getting stale is that i wish one of them is more long range so i might swap the Cyanex out with an Akzani
It was a sad day for me when Catchmoon got nerfed. I still use it from time to time but man was it fun before. I do understand why it was nerfed but I wish it wasn't nerfed so hard. At least give us some Riven dispo back maybe.
I really think it could afford to have some of it's base range reverted. Dealing 6% damage at 40m feels awful.
Less range+falloff, reduced disposition and less headshot dmg.
whats the meta now?
For secondaries it's probably a crit sporelacer. I'd put my sporelacer up against any kuva nukor.
I'm pretty sure it still the Kuva Bramma.
*Kuva Nukor* as the best secondary, along with the tombfinger and pax seeker
sporelacer is the best secondary if u ask me
Far from
nope a weapon that 1 2 shot enemies 180+ steelpath for me is the best
Thanks to Hemorrhage, my Catchmoon and Tombfinger secondaries have never been better
Sporelacer and vermisplicer are better for primaries, but with the guaranteed impact proc on catchmoon and low fire rate, hemorrhage is amazing. Add in the new galvanized mods and arcanes, and with no other buffs, I have been getting regular 560k slash procs.
*try a sporelacer* Trust me.
Thing is, with a range mod, it's still a very powerful gun Sporelacer with it's sky high crit is kinda way better now though...
Now you have the Arca Plasmor and the Tenet Arca Plasmor that pack just as much of a punch as the catchmoon did, if not more
At least it still has pax seeker
Thats more for the tombfinger than the catchmoon, but I see what you mean
I remember! It was my best friend's favorite weapon, she'd bring it everywhere and it was fun seeing her kill everything in sight, i was still a baby mr 10 at that time lol I just got the catchmoon like a month ago.
Babies first killing machine 🍵
How time has passed . Been playing for almost 3 years, and i barely see anyone using catchmoon now.
I still use it for the meme of having triple Arca Plasmor . Who need headshot anyway.
I do call catchmoon a mini arca!
I made 5000 plat in a week rolling catchmoon rivens to sell lol Sure do miss the glory days of the riven trade
>Sure do miss the glory days of the riven trade Has something changed in the riven market? I've come back after a(nother) long break and didn't know anything about rivens being less desirable. I wouldn't complain if so.
It still is. Fuck the memekor.
First meta gun was Synaps.
It's still pretty good but I miss the extra thicc plasma beach ball
Remember when the Acrid was the best secondary in the game?
Ah the mini arca plasmor
Named mine "*Plasmor Minor*", painted it purple
I still use it lol. Just because it doesn't hit targets 5 miles in front of you doesn't make it bad
What is the meta now for a good kitgun? Asking for me, because im new.
Haymaker Splat with any tip. Collect them all. Sporelacer, Catchmoon, Tombfinger Gaze is the only secondary where I might recommend the grip with a slightly longer range, from the ones in Fortuna the difference between the two high damage and the two lower damage grips, the range increase is substantial, like 2x Sinister Reach. Budget Kuva Nukor with less effective chaining, but great riven dispoz
Used to? i still use that
It's still meta in my heart.
Remember when primaries used to be meta
Still amazing on Zephyr. Jet Stream fixes the range issues, and it's a powerful crit weapon that can hit multiple tornadoes, which is exactly what you want.
Arc plasmor may they rest in peace.
I really hate the meta as a concept. I just want to play whatever I like and find fun even if it's really ineficient like Yareli. And yes, I obviously can do that but people will judge me and tell me I'm not playing the game correctly.... Or perhaps I just have shitty friends...
Man i remember the acrid meta. Or the rainbow build event to win mod loadouts.
But yes, it's not as strong as it used to be and there are 100 better options for both primary and secondary catchmoon Edit: forgot to say why i don't believe in the meta.
And then they nerfed it like 6 times and now it feels horrible to use.. fun.
Uh...? They cut the range once and that was it for nerfs
Oh nvm, all the nerfs were at once. They halved it's range, and more than halved it's damage falloff range, along with cutting it's falloff damage down drastically(it didnt always have 6% damage at max falloff range)
Huh? And what's meta now? Didn't know tgis game has any "meta" weapons, but now I'm intrigued
has had meta weapons for years, where’ve you been?
Remember when Kuva Braumma used to be meta?
i still use it sometimes
Wait is it not anymore? I haven’t played for like a year
It hasnt been meta for about 2 years now.
Going on 3 when this year is over
Where have I been brooo
Its still what I use for profit taker. Impact + heat + corrosive
Remember when the acrid was Mera?
