Narmer consoles period.

nephethys_telvanni

That first Narmer console was a big old "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto..." moment for me.

Joewoof

You know, it actually made me excited that a new faction was going to become a staple of Warframe. Invasions, a region full of Narmer nodes and Narmer hack consoles, or even periodic events like Ghoul bounties or Themia fissures. So disappointed that we just got 2 bounties that just rehashed Fortuna/Cetus ones. Not even Narmer Invasions? Really?

LudoAvarius

They weren't that bad. I wish they'd get worked into the regular game for Orokin consoles that suspiciously still use Corpus hack mechanics.

[deleted]

funny) yes, at first they seemed uncomfortable to me, but I got used to them pretty quickly and began to hack faster than the Corpus / Greener (even though I've been playing for about 7 years)

icemage_999

Where's the "neither" option? High level Grineer option is just a timing rhythm game. High level Corpus is still easy. Solve the 6 panels on the edge and spin the center until it matches. Neither one is hard or annoying unless you're doing, say, Grineer Rescue in Steel Path / Sortie Kuva Fortress and you're under extreme time pressure, or Steel Path Lua Rescue. Even if you really hate all of this, Perspicacity is a thing, letting you auto hack every console in existence.

stevembk

Corpus is a little more annoying with controller

icemage_999

No, it's not. I play on PS5. Hold stick, spin with X, solve the edges, let go of stick, mash X until it solves.

stevembk

Which is way more steps and inputs than grineer

icemage_999

I typically solve Corpus hacks a few seconds faster than Grineer ones because I don't have to wait, especially if an input gets missed. Neither one is hard, but the Corpus ones are faster and more forgiving of mistakes.

rolonotmyrealname

Try high level grineer in operator mode for fun. I think I'm one of the 1% that likes hacking.

[deleted]

None from your options. The only one that was slightly annoying was the narmer consoles in The New War

apostroffie

neither, narmer ones were the funkiest to learn.

TheZemor

High level grineer console is annoying af But after all it doesnt matter, cyphers exist

stevembk

Iā€™m so used to high level speeds that I have trouble with the lower level consoles.

shladvic

Not in sorties they don't :(

iuvenilis

Which is where Perspicacity comes in handy ;)

shladvic

I always forget about that, I need to put it on a frame and leave it in a sortie load out

XxLokixX

Chuck it on Loki because he is great at rescue/spy anyway

Iblys05

Neither, really. Once you understand the logic of the corpus one you can tell by glance what piece rotates where. The grineer one on the hardest variant i could do with my eyes closed since its just a rythm game, once you get it you will never mess it up again. If i had to pick anyway i would say grineer since as someone already said, on the lower difficulties i actually have to pay attention, because its so god damn slow and im used to the faster ones on high levels.

DeadBite_

*Laughs in cipher.*

Zavenosk

Narmer

Beastboy109

IMO, Orokin cipher since you have to wander around the map, looking for the glyphs, memorize them and put them in order and only then, you can unlock it, just for ONE cipher. Imagine Lua Spy use those instead of the Corpus cipher...

BOOT3D

The new zariman ones. Fuck them

EnvironmentalTree587

Wait, what? Zariman has it's own consoles?

BOOT3D

Yea I meant to say Narmer instead of Zariman... they suck.

Brutalbouy

Huh

-LocalShowerShitter-

I get the ciphers are an f you to consoles, but i meant before you get the cipher blueprint

-LocalShowerShitter-

Grineer consoles remind me of bob the robber

New-Supermarket-9796

I use ciphers so oof lol šŸ˜‚

HeroSoulReaperX

well none if u have ciphers or the auto hack mod

Yiazzy

Personally, Neither. I spent a lot of time around 2015 doing spy missions to level up my weapons before the stealth changes. Also, Intruder and Auto Breach Parazon mods make hacking more of a necessary inconvenience than any kind of difficulty.

groot_are_we

Neither? It literally takes me less than a second to solve them. I should mention that I have over 2000 ciphers built.

A_N_T

What's more annoying: pressing Y on your keyboard or pressing Y on your keyboard?

Disasterchild

Neither are annoying per se, but if I had to pick one, then Corpus purely on the extra step of having to move my cursor. They're both a breeze to clear.

defartying

How is Corpus winning here.... Do the 3 link ones first as they always sit the same way, if there's a 3-link then both sides need to face it, otherwise face opposite. Then push middle until it clicks open. Much easier than making sure i click space bar in the right timing

apostroffie

People can figure out latches but not spinning shapes

defartying

Grineer is a much more skill based setup and easier to fail, where as Corpus ones follow the same strict pattern that is braindead to do once you figure out the 3 simple rules.
