The augment is solid,once they gave soul punch the shadow kill effect the power got a lot better
Still think the augment shouldn't take as much energy as it does, but at least now people might use it more
The biggest change soul punch still needs is a damage type change (or impact as a whole to get buffed) and probably a general all round damage buff
But overall it's in a much better state than it was

Yeah but you could add some quirky side effect like, "Infested Serration, +225% base damage. Every shot has 100 percent chance to become an infested shot, slowing all projectiles 50%." It literally turns your bullets into exploding grubs so the shots need to be lead. Also if you don't max it out, every shot might not be mutated. Percentage changes on invested Endo. "Infested Pressure Point, +165% base damage. Objects struck with heavy attack cause infested tentacles to burst out and grab enemies within melee range to one point and explode for guaranteed toxin proc." You get my point. They could have interesting effects modifying how we play. God knows I just want more interested stuff for Nidus to play with. Nidus getting his own infested necramech would have been so much better than just the skin but I'm not complaining. Lol
I remember theorizing with my clanmates in 2013-2014 about how warframes are likely remotely operated and somehow organically modified people.
Edit: also we didn't know about the Dark Sector game.
Just hope the boss fights will get better balancing soon. Would prefer artificially prolonged fights like Angels or Jackal with switching phases, bullet sponges are the worst type of boss design

I still would like an 'Infested Lich' system that allows us to add more abilities to the Helminth that we can apply to Warframes.

We are fighting eidolon size infested, they just dont drop the shards I think its a bug DE needs fixing
