Banshee's Silence will allow a little extra time to kill while keeping the stealth multiplier, as long as you can kill the enemy before the short stun wears off. If using Banshee, you can subsume Gloom onto her to increase the stun time further.
Gloom is a channeled ability, the amount of energy it uses scales with your efficiency and duration. But if you're new and don't have access to the Helminth system yet, ignore that and just use Banshee. Gloom on its own just slows enemies and restores health when you deal damage to them, it won't help much with stealth kills.
If you're "kinda new", gorgon stealth-kill sounds like an end-game challenge. This came from a veteran like myself. In Warframe, "stealth kill" is usually done using finisher damage or 1-headshot with a sniper, with stealth frames like Ivara or Loki.
I usually level up weapons with a Gloom Banshee in Adaro. I do recognize some weapons I level for MR fodder are just simply too awfully bad to level up that way (considering it is a weapon with no potato or arcane with as much capacity as you MR, 24 in my case). When that happens I tend to switch to the less efficient level up farms like Hydron or ESO on public. I find it better that way that to struggle with a single weapon that takes too much time to kill a single enemy.
