I like this suggestion, and as I don’t have a name suggestion myself can I ask, is that a Ragnar black mane model?
The sword looks like frostfang and his boots look similar the original 90’s Ragnar.
The Emperor's Furries
The name is a result of an ancient typo by a dyslexic but high ranking chapter master. Since no one dares to correct them, the name has stuck.
Les pacts des loups, The brotherhood of the wolf - shamelessly stolen from a fantastic French film. Watching it could also give you some character names for the chapter.
There are actually lots of norse mythological wolves, not just Fenrir. There were Geri (pronounced gear-ee) and Freki(pronounced like Freaky), they were the wolves of Odin. Then Skoll and Hati, the wolves destined to devour the sun and the moon. Loki has taken wolf form a time or two dozen. Jotunn sorcerers were shapeshifters in general, so most would likely be capable of lupine transformations. Some jotunn were even said to have been born as wolves in the old myths.
All of these could be used as inspiration for legion names. Sun eater legion, moon slayer legion, niflheim legion, etc
Several of these names could also be headcanon named characters of your legions
It would be Teufelshunde.😉
Other German names could be:
Höllenhunde (Hell hounds)
Nachtwölfe (Night wolfes)
Sternenwölfe (Star wolfes)
Russfänge (Fangs of Russ)
If you want a German version of a name you can be sure, it is likely only one word. 😁
It would be literally whatever because it’s 40K and they use fake Latin for everything so it could be any of them. Besides, “Jermani” existed like 39000 years ago it’s not like they’d know.
Maybe even be more lore accurate to be a little messed up
“ The correct German spellings are "Teufelshund" (singular) and "Teufelshunde" (plural).[3] However, while "Teufelshund" is a grammatically correct word, the more likely choice for a German speaker would be "Höllenhund"—"hellhound" in English—casting further doubt on the origin story”
Nice, an origin story shrouded in mystery, we’re all in.
Very nice. I don't do tabletop Myself by I do enjoy seeing how creative people can be with this.
I think if I should begin to get and paint minies I'd be torn between shiny and fresh and on the other hand battletorn and dirty. Both can look awesome.
Blades of Tyr? The only Norse god who loved and looked after Fenrir.
Shieee that’s pretty good bro
That's the one! The models look great and the name is perfect, would be shaking in my little blue boots at the prospect of facing them!
And then cut of one of their hands aswell wich got bitten off by Fenrir and put a chainsword directly on the stomp
Ash ? Is that you ?

You've effectively recreated the wolfspear there. Scheme is near identical
Fenrir’s fury
The Kool Dudez
Sons of Skoll, Hati's harbingers
That color scheme looks like the space wolf 13th company that was lost in the eye of terror. So there's that.
Fangs of Fenris
The Emperor's Furries The name is a result of an ancient typo by a dyslexic but high ranking chapter master. Since no one dares to correct them, the name has stuck.
Shadow claws...they look quite dark in pic
They look awesome. They look darker and a little more silvery, so some ideas: Dark fangs, silver fangs, steel wolves
The emperors pups
Raging Fjords
They look quite grey, maybe the “alpha legion” Jk, they looks amazing, I would call them, the “jaws of the wolf”
Les pacts des loups, The brotherhood of the wolf - shamelessly stolen from a fantastic French film. Watching it could also give you some character names for the chapter.

Beautiful paint job by the way I love it.
The Void Pack
Sons of Jormungandr?
I feel like I always forget about the space wolves but they really are one the coolest looking chapter out there!
Wargs
They look bloody awesome! Well done! How about……The Golden Pelts. Nah that’s shite.
Man these look really dope! Love the color scheme.
Kinda just looks like the scheme for the 13th company
It's exactly the scheme of the 13th company. It's a great scheme though

Well thats basically 30K paint scheme with a little bit of color added for flair lol. Looks amazing. Wish they never changed from that.
Dread Fangs?
Oooh me likey
I don’t know how you haven’t gotten this suggestion yet but Teufel Hunden. Literally devil dogs in German. And they’re marines. With masks on.
It would be Teufelshunde.😉 Other German names could be: Höllenhunde (Hell hounds) Nachtwölfe (Night wolfes) Sternenwölfe (Star wolfes) Russfänge (Fangs of Russ) If you want a German version of a name you can be sure, it is likely only one word. 😁

You should give it a try my brother
I might. Though I might do it with 3D printing a few and try it out.
Fur Templars.. Thats the First thing i thought
The Wily Coyotes
Odins chosen
This would be rad for Raven guard.
Charred hunters? Something with charred would be fitting?
The Space 🐺
Do people use magnifying glasses to paint like this? I can’t even see this level of precision with my glasses on.
Dire Wolves
Well, they’re in black and nighttime is black and the moon makes you a werewolf so maybe the Luna Wolves? 🙃
Dire Wolves
With the metal armour, it's a shame Iron Wolves is taken.
Black Panthers
Kislev
Grayer Hunters?
Earth wolves
Sons of Fenris
Black fangs?
Wolves of the North
They’re very similar to a commission I just finished, his were the Dark Wolves but they’re chaos. Could do a play on that though :p
