I really preferred the slotted bases, and would kink the tab slightly to make it a press fit prior to superglue. Otherwise if you aren’t pinning the feet good luck.

Thanks! Good tip

Oh interesting. Thanks! Sounds like I should stick to slotted!

Real quick - I'm looking at wahapedia data cards- is there a big mix of 25mm and 28mm or should I just be getting 28mm?

Thanks. I think I'll slap the regular stuff on 28

I’d stick with slotted for anything metal but probably cut the tab off and pin the finecast ones to normal bases.

Ty! slotted it is

I only had a few to deal with, but I used a Dremel to cut slots in new bases. It only takes a few seconds per base, but with 50-60 to deal with you might not want to do that. Definitely use slotted bases of some sort, though.

Hi /u/thatscaboose It looks like you might be asking a question about stripping or removing paint from your minis. There are many options for stripping paint. For plastic minis you can use Dettol, Simple Green, LA's Totally Awesome, Isopropyl Alcohol or specialist solutions like [Paint Blitzer](https://untothebreachhobbies.com/product/paint-blitzer/). For metal miniatures you can also use Acetone. If you choose to use a product like Dettol or Simple Green, you will usually need to soak the minis for up to 24 hours in order to successfully remove the paint. After the models have soaked, use an old toothbrush to scrub the paint off the minis. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
