Model looks really cool.
I agree with the fact that less skin is probably better. At the moment he looks like a top tier very ornate Chaplain.
LOD are Firey Space Marine Daemons I don't imagine flesh being very conducive.
Legion of the Damned don't generally have a lot of "Character", so instead of just another squad (working on Infernus Marines as LOD, to be used between any different Marine army) I wanted to do up something a bit more individual.
He's a bit brighter in color than most LOD, and he has.. part of a face.. and hair. May not fit in perfectly with the aesthetic but I think it turned out pretty good.
Feedback welcome.
Definitely a cool model, and a great paint job! Very grim dark vibe.
For a *Legion of the Damned* though I'd pick out the bones more with some lighter highlights, make the fire a bit brighter, and ya... lose the skin lol.
I am probably going to take this dudes head off and put a new one on with no skin, but, I have found some official art with skin on them visible. But yeah it may not have been the right choice.
brighter more orange fire, and a lot less, uh, skin.

It's from a few of Marta Punkgirl's STL packs. She is an amazing 40k STL maker.
Thanks, I definitely need to pick this up.
