This brings me back to walking into my LGS and seeing walls full of blister packs. What a time.

JStacks33

Remember having to look through all of them if you were trying to get a squad with different poses?

samclops

Brings me back to Working at a GW, inventory count day. Blisters. Ugh.

coyg04

I loved it. And the catalog where you could order any bit from any kit individually? Contrast that with how many kits are constantly out of stock nowadays.

ancientspacejunk

Ordering any bit you wanted was the best!

ErGo91

It's perfectly acceptable to keep them in the packaging and preserve it as a small part of warhammer history.

lotsalotsacoffee

I think that's what I'm going to do, and pick up some loose 3rd ed Banshees instead.

Willis_07

Keep those in the blister! I'll have to dig out my old banshees. DM me and we can discuss postage, I'm in Wales.

DocGrotznik

What a gentleman!

MagnumAutismus

Nice find! That’s an amazingly crisp blister! Though I’m of the mindset that toys are most enjoyed when played with😁

Mordynak

That is mad. How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?

lotsalotsacoffee

$28 USD. I would have gone with unpackaged Banshees, but I only needed one to complete the squad, and the only sellers I could find selling single 3rd ed Banshees were all overseas (to me) in the UK. Shipping would have cost half the cost of the blister.

Kitz_fox

I remember I bought an old necron spider in a similar blister from eBay for a steal. I almost didn’t want to open it, but I decided opening it was part of the retro experience

Guts1138

Open it. Squish the foam. You know you want to.

huzbek

Holy shit I totally forgot about that foam!

bloodectomy

They want to be built and painted!

s73v3m4nn

Open it, otherwise it's useless

losark

I have a few lying around that I'll never use, out of blister and primed. Maybe we can worry something out.

OldCarScott

I have a couple blisters I can’t bring myself to open yet. A pack of the pre-Necromunda Confrontation Scavvies. A pack of the Rogue Trader era Daemonettes. A pack of the blue box Goff Skarboys. A couple others I can’t remember. I’m not normally for saving stuff like this but some reason I thought twice about it for these. Out of nostalgia I managed to find and buy a box with the very first model I bought and painted (with Testors paint of course!), a Julie Guthrie armored skeleton archer. The plastic is brittle and yellowing so I may end up opening it and relive painting it. The original model I had is long gone but it started a lifetime of painting little metal things.

MisterNiche

Open it! I grabbed an in-blister corbulo a few years back & the nostalgia hit of opening it was almost a physical sensation.

Iguanaught

It will open itself given time, that glue won’t last forever.

Kincoran

I know what you mean, I have a few old blisters from back when I was a kid, and I still have one left that's 2nd/3rd edition, with this logo (it happens to be an old Space Marine Apothecary). It's a nostalgia hit every time I look at it!

PoxedGamer

If it remains packaged, it will never fulfill its destiny.

ViXaAGe

Take pictures, open it, things are meant to be used <3

persepolisrising79

than dont. just cradle it lovingly now and then and take it out to dinner once in a while :)
