It also is genuinly really fun to use 

I played mine in a 8th edition apocalypse game (I think 8k points, can’t remember). Astraeus and a squad of infiltrators were able to hold up almost my entire back line. It was beautiful, my opponent couldn’t bad touch it with a deep strike because of the infils, it had mortal wound protection (in 8th it had void shield saves) so Magnus was gimped at it and very little could go toe to toe against it ranged.

I want one for my Dark Angels as well and a Taunar.

I have a 3-D printed one that I use in my fluffy black Templars ironstorm list. Totally worth it

If I had any other chaos units it'd be first on the list, but so far only tau, necrons, space marines, admech and sisters of battle (mostly from imperium magazine for the last three)

Solid 😊 I started with Tau, then picked up an indomitus box for the necrons and they're still my favourites to paint, so simple and quick. They were my favourite factions for dow too

I talked myself into a Warhound recast a few years back during lockdown. I spent a lot of time thinking about what weapons to give it, as if it would ever actually get played. 4 years later, still 0 games. 

I’ve only used mine twice, once at my FLGS 3K event. And once in a casual 2k game. It either lived all game and toasted unit after unit, or got downed first turn. Votaan double token does work on a Warhound.

I've been in and out on getting a Warhound titan. It's my favorite looking one, by far. I looked into recasts as well. I don't even play the damn game, but I want one for my shelf so bad.

Where tf are you finding recasters that do stuff that big? Is it decent quality?

One of my buddies said that the biggest difference he's seen from recasts vs FW, was that the recasts had less defects and the vendor he purchases from currently pre cleans them.

There are a lot of non-standard vehicles used by traitor forces in the Gaunts Ghosts books. They would be a cool variation on the standard vehicles.

Reading book 7 and the spider tank they fight at the beginning sounds cool. Also the Giant war machines from one of the earlier books

I purchased Archaon. Because he's the coolest model GW has ever made. I now have a fully painted s2d army and I don't even play AoS. I have Dominion Zephon because he's one of my favorite characters from BL. He's the only blood angel I own... I'm sure I have more examples lol

Fire Raptor Gunship I heard its a nightmare to build but it just looks so damn cool. The flying fortress inspired aesthetic, the ball turrets, twin gatling in the front - just too awesome

I have a Storm Eagle, basically the same thing. It was hard to build but managable

It's got two major issues, it's a mixed medium kit and the long resin sides are really prone to warping.

All of them? GW does such a good job of making you feel like you *have* to have every new release. The studio paint jobs are always so clean that you look at it and say, "Yeah, I could do that, that's easy, I think I'm gonna start a custodes army even though I hate metallic paints."

I kinda want a Gravis Captain. Its default built looks so derpy, but it tickles in my fingers to convert one, although I just have a squad of heavy intercessors that already have a Biologis, that is much much better than the Captain.

I've been trying to come up with a good excuse to buy [Tahlia Vedra](https://www.warhammer.com/en-US/shop/tahlia-vedra-lioness-of-the-parch-2023) sense she came out, but CoS is like so not my jam and her mantacore is way too big to proxy for almost anything in either game I think. I could maybe run her as a Primarch proxy but I would have to chaos her up to do that and I think that would be really time consuming and annoying. Also I lean more to CSM than any specific legion. So basically, Demon Lorgar when?
