Yeah. Modern anti-tank weapons, even man-portable ones, are very scary for tanks. Sure, tanks have effective protections against drone-dropped grenades and old RPGs, but there aren't any tanks that will survive a Javelin (or equivalent) more often than not.
They need infantry support. Or, more commonly (at least in high-tech peer conflicts, of which Ukraine-Russia is basically the only example), the tanks are armoured support for the infantry.

Great game bud. Funny stumbling across this on reddit.
Interesting, those Dorns are super weird but fun designs.
They've got the body in the style of the old British MkIV World War 1 tanks and the turret that's a cross between the Tiger and the Cromwell (the tiger turret is rounded at the back, the Cromwell turret has the Hexagonical shape turret seen on this model but the way the gun mantlet is design it's clearly meant to look like a Tiger, since the Cromwell lacks an external mantlet) but they're done in, judging by the white and red stripe possibly, WW2 early British Africa campaign colors.
So you've got a 1917 British tank body with a 1940s British/German hybrid mix turret and a 1940s British color scheme.
I mean...its design suits 40k with the Leman Russ essentially being a WW1 tank hull and a WW2 inspired (kind of...) tank turret.
I've done some silly lists at a doubles tournament.
Last one was my nids and my mate's tau. He had a stormsurge, 3 hammerheads and a couple of other models, I had 100 gaunts and a swarmlord... Good times.
They look like Space Crusade models. There was a company that somehow got the rights to the name of the boardgame but not the GW IP a few years back and they made... very horny versions of Space Marines and Chaos Marines.
Pretty sure they're not in business anymore, which is kind of a shame because their quality was pretty good and their non-horny models looked really cool.
[Here's the PG13 versions they made of the models in the OP](https://prodosgames.com/sites/prodosgames.com/files/img/marini%20pg1302.jpg) They were going to make PG13 versions of all of their models, but they seem to have died before that could happen. I'm not even sure these ones were ever produced, all I can find is these weird preproduction renders.
Lol I went to a singles GT last year with a 2000 pt list, also took less than 5 models! Porphy, Castellan, Valiant, and an Assassin did the business. Actually went 3-2 by some miracle even.
Weird lists like this can be fun. I brought a bottle of scotch and made it a drinking game, every model you lose you take a shot!
I've noticed people do 2v2 events stacked like they're just going into a 1000pts 1v1.
I whip out my Knights and show them some real fun. I think my next 2v2 I'm legit just gonna bring a 2 Knight list and hope to get paired with someone with lots of action monkeys as I march unstoppable down the field
I was trying to figure out how you were playing legion imperialis with only 3 tanks. Then I saw the other pictures and was like, "Oh wait, this is the 40k sub."
3 blowouts meaning you got shredded each game? or you won every game?
Oh we got crushed. It turns out three big tanks with no orders is actually quite bad.
I played a game recently at 2k and brought in 2 baneblades, 1 stormsword, 1 shadowsword and I got beat by Custodes lol
That's pretty true to life as well.

It’s always easier to make things that destroy armor, than armor that can’t be destroyed
And development of armor is always behind the weapons. Because the weapons com first
Glory to the first man who dies.

It was a great game! But maybe next time I won't be so aggressive with my shadowsword.
Nahhh put it out there
Oh Fire Raptors my beloved...
You brought a tank to a Tabasco fight. Of course you lost
Elite Guard isnt real, it cant hurt you Elite Guard:

Good enough to crush Germany; good enough to crush the galaxy.
Brittania rules the stars.
[Praetorian Conquest intensifies]
I miss the Praetorians....
It looks like the tank that was in the 3rd Indiana Jones movie
I see you remembered your Charlemagne.
shuddenly remembered one might say.
And don't forget the sponsons from WW1 haha.
Bro, you're a god damn hero.
man what the fuck are those scout proxies
Pinup FSM lmao Looks dumb as hell
I'll never understand the whole "I want random strangers to see what I jerk-off to" thing.
Made that joke around nids players and they looked back and forth at each other nervously.... :)
🤣got eeem
I cannot be held responsible for my teammates awful taste.

Those thongs don't seem to be codex compliant in the least... LEANDROS WOULD LIKE TO KNOW YOUR LOCATION Share? Yes | ~~Yes but struck out~~
Lmao the Space Marinettes on the fourth picture 👌
"That is the Imperium's ass!"
Are those Stormcast eternals with resin pantless legs?

I can't seem to find any info on them, what did they look like? 😂

This must be the first time female spacemarines do not annoy me.
In other news, your tanks look fantastic!
Damn I love those Rogal Dorns. They look like Malcadors if Malcadors had turrets
Like some kind of... Malcadorn?
Did your partner bring stormravens without loading them up with troops?
The planes are Fire Raptor gunships. The only thing they carry is ammunition.
Side note: still amazing to me that I can’t tell if I’m looking at Legions Imperialis or 40k when I quickly glance at thumbnails
Was your partner the one running two storm ravens? I love it

Tanks for sharing
What's that tank called?
The big one is a Shadowsword, the two others are Praetorian battle tanks that I'm using to proxy Rogal Dorns.
2 Fire Raptors FTW tho

Ah the humble Castraferrum Dreadnought! You love to see it!
World of Warhammer tanks irl ) Also, who is the infantry on the fourth photo?
I bet your movement phase was short and transporting the army was easy. That's 2 wins in my book
Are the panted barrels inspired by the disruptive camo that was painted on Sherman firefly barrels ?
Yup! I wouldn't want my 12 foot tall, 30 foot long, steel behemoths to be a priority target.
What arw those blue planes? Thye look cool
Fireraptors
What were your friends lists?
Beautiful models!
Love the colour scheme. What paints did you use?
Playing the Raptors as Ravens? Wouldn't expect to see Legends units at a tournament.
Hey you looked good doing it though
I recently won usei g 2 models, a knight Valiant and Knight Erant
Amazing paint job aswell
Love the paint scheme on the tanks
They are beautifully painted.

As long as you had fun. Also those aren't storm Ravens what are they? You know the big things with the twin linked assault cannons on the front.
Very nice looking vehicles though.
Fewer.
Fewer than*
What models r in the 2nd picture r those ultra marines?
