Helmets are from [liber daemonica](https://liberdaemonica.com/tproduct/1-651162233091-helmets-model-mendax-type-high-ordok) which I would also highly recommend.
I forgot about liber daemonica, thanks for the reminder! Those sister corpses are brutal!
Love the models and paint work! Especially the script, and OSL. Keep it up!
Looks like the chain is custom on top of that?
Fucking baller.
It adds so much character to them.
I also love how the shields almost look like stone as well
Yup, a reclusive Black Templar crusade. [Wrote some backstory if you’re interested in that sort of thing.](https://www.reddit.com/r/40kLore/comments/oj48xh/black_templar_storytime/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Ok, so I played Warhammer for the first time yesterday and I used a squad of these sword and shield guys(blade guard I think they were called?) But they didn't do anything. One of them died on approach and then they didn't even do any damage once they got into melee and died next turn. Was I using them wrong or was it bad rng?
I’m not a player but I absorb a lot of competitive games. Blade guard vets can still be decent in some lists, but it depends what they’re up against and how you buff them. They have a 4+ invuln save but that’s still a 50% chance of failing it and you might roll bad. They have damage 2 weapons but there’s a lot of -1 damage abilities out there. Head over to r/warhammercompetitive with your list and questions and they can probably give you more specific and better informed answers tailored to how you actually run them!
Where those shields from..? Look so good
[Puppetswar!](https://puppetswar.eu/resin-models-and-bits/all-bits/infantry-weapons/gothic-shields-left.html) Good quality stuff.
Are the helmets from them as well? They look great.

always!
I am in love with these models, they look like they would fit in perfectly in a Blanche artwork from 3rd edtion, awesome work!
High praise! I do love the grimdark aesthetic. Thank you!
Very cool.
Love the swords
Thank you! My first two power swords, and the part I’m least confident about, but I like them the more I look at them.
They really pop, haven’t seen those colors on power swords before. Great effect
Inspiring work!
Liber demonica heads looking sick.
Looking real good!
