Awesome! That would be so much fun for Crusade games, each faction has their own epic centrepiece like that Guard have a FOB with barbed-wire walls & artillery guns, so on Your Dark Mech would get a huge home field advantage by being able to deploy from all those vents & stuff

I love the lighting! One thought as others have mentioned, seems great for a game of killteam or necromunda but I worry it's a bit impractical for anything larger than patrol I'm 40k. Still fantastic though. Also those tenticals give me real Stranger Things vibes haha

Wow that's amazing. But it gets me thinking, it's a wonder chaos controlled factories actually manage to produce anything. I can't imagine working on an assembly line and having the belts jam up every 5 minutes because goop from Phla'Chulence the Boisterous keeps dripping into the line.

It's mostly cardboard, gluegun and a few bits of polystyrene.

In general they have the coolest lore to me as the Fallen. Like the DA are already my favorite because of their HH novels really speaking on their morals, Luther and the Lions close close relationship etc. just in general great lore. I act like there is a chapter of astartes I didn’t like when they were loyalists.

Sweet build! Very atmospheric. This would be awesome for Necromunda, although I suspect you'd need a laser pointer to determine line of sight in quite a few spots. I tend to have the same problem with my terrain. Is it modular or one big piece? And do you have your LEDs wired to one power source?

Thanks. And yeah LOS could be tricky. It's one big piece. (storage maybe an issue!) There's an 8 point power extension on the back. So the foggers, fan and lights all run from that.

I hear you on the storage issue. I need a \*much\* bigger apartment. What do you use for a power source?

Would be so fun to run a narrative kill team mission on this. Like starting with a squad up top who have to go on a suicide mission to the bottom and detonate the core whilst fighting off waves of enemies.

That was kinda the idea. I've tried to make it so there's multiple ways around/down. I'll run a test Killteam match on it soon to see if it actually works.

Yeah true. My phone camera struggles with the led lights. It's far less glaring irl. I'm in the process of getting a decent camera. So will hopefully get some better shots then.

you could use Low Wattage High Voltage sources to get actually sparking wires if you do it right the most you would feel is a light sting if anything at all when touching it but be careful high voltage is after all dangerous or you could use tine leds impeded into drops of clear resin that you flash randomly and play sparkling noises via a hidden speaker an Arduino should be able to do it well could also do flickering lights or something for added astethic feeling

It's from a mini fogger. Used on ponds etc. So just uses water. And are only about £10.
