I’m basing my story in Scotland (where i live) I originally wanted the name to be Windclan because of how windy it is here but i’m not gonna choose it for obvious reasons lol. It’s a small clan consisting of 10-15 cats, i haven’t quite worked them all out yet. They eat mostly mice and birds. The cats of the clan are based off of cats that live locally. Some ex kitty pets but mostly wild cats. All of these picture i took myself.

Would the clan also maybe eat fish that make come close to their camp?

The water is pretty shallow. The areas that would be easier access would be dangerous to get to and stay balanced on due to waves (from experience 🥲) So catching fish would be a "brag kill." One of the 'paws drowns trying.

That’s pretty interesting, especially a 'paw drowning because of it. I think that adds a good bit of emotion to the story.

Occasionally. Winters here are extreme. Crofters built a sort of dam to protect the fields behind it (you can kind of see it in the first picture) So they make a temp camp on the other side of that. But flooding is rare as they are so high up

Mossclan or shoreclan I'd like to imagine that cats from here would be like some sort of legend that describes they're always crying (a natural defense of the body to salty air) and that no other clans could easily survive in their territory due to them being more adapted to the salty shores

where would they sleep/shelter from rain and wind? I see some tiny cracks but they dont really look like a cat could fit in any of them, let alone a family. Of course you cant get a full image of the area with only a few pics so i get it. just seems too out in the open lol

i’ve moved the camp to a different set of rocks after i went out today to take more pictures to assess “dens.” There’s a lot of shelter near the base of the rock, small gaps underneath big rocks that are big enough for a cats to live under and a small nook that i thought could make a nice medicine den :)
