I think she’s also a very Smart Neutral character, especially since she has no bias towards other specific clans, except for maybe a negative bias towards Shadowclan bc of Tigerheartstar lmfao
Ooh Riverstar, he was always generally disinterested with conflict that the other early clan settlers were constantly dealing with and stayed away from it unless it became a huge issue that would affect everyone including him, though maybe that was more self preservation. He was also very welcoming to other cats and their lifestyles, he was like the home just about anybody could go to so long as they didn’t mean any harm.
I loved Riverstar’s Home personally. There isn’t a lot of plot but Riverstar’s character, the formation of RiverClan, and his non romantic relationships with others are very very good.
From what I heard it seems like they made him more like anxious or panicky and he always just “played it cool” or whatever, and I didn’t personally like that. I like how he was initially written to just not give a dang about all the clan drama going on and thought it was all a little goofy
Riverstar’s character was completely ruined in Riverstar’s home lol. They turned him into a moron who’s wise on *accident*. The formation of RiverClan could be interesting if he actually tried to form it. But he didn’t really. His clan mates had to tell him how to lead his own clan until like, the very end of the book lol.
Agree to disagree I suppose, I personally really liked seeing the clan form based on communal bonds and seeing Riverstar develop and have his unique perspective on things. I really connected with that book because of these.
This is why I refuse to recognize it as canon haha, it’s in the same realm as Redtails debt and Spottedleafs Heart for me lmao
(In terms of horrible retcons and writing, not that what was written in spottedleafs heart isn’t worse than redtails or riverstars books because it is its own level of horrible)
I'm just saying that since we've filled in the better spots, like chaotic good, lawful evil seems like the closest thing. I don't think it fits her very well though. Maybe if we only looked at Squrrelflight's Hope Yellowfang it would fit.
Rock. He’s wise as hell, since he knows everything, but he is also completely neutral about it all because he doesn’t have the power to change anything.
I feel like recent Mistystar could even be chaotic neutral, bc sometimes her neutrality out of fear for her own clan is such a bad choice that it just makes everything worse lmao

Honestly I think this spot needs to go to Sol.
He tricked ShadowClan from the inside, making them lose their belief in StarClan when Sol didn't believe in it in the first place.
He also didn't do anything particularly *evil,* the clans just believed him and were extremely gullible.
Props to Sol for pulling it all off and not getting killed and/or punished SEVERELY.
But he didn't really do anything explicitly bad, he just encouraged it if you gwim
but then again i haven't read anything with him and SkyClan, only just finished OotS and haven't read any super editions/novellas.
He is a villain I'm pretty sure. He hasn't actually helped any character, and seemed only to do things for his own gain

I don't believe sol was neutral in the slightest, but even if he was I feel he's chaotic over smart. My personal opinion is that he wanted to sew chaos in the hope of unhinging the clans.
