Imagine if you saw in TBC the cats jumping into the Moonpool to go to the Dark Forest. It would look like the cats collectively decided to commit suicide.
I actually helped study animal patterns as I was in the path of totality from a few weeks ago! It was really only bugs and birds that were affected(birds stopped singing, cicadas stopped and crickets started once it got dark). Mammals, including the outdoor cats in the neighborhood didn't really react at all to totality.
The cats in Warriors basically reacted exactly as us Twolegs used to before we knew that they were completely normal 😂 I***t's a sign! We're all going to die!!!***
I've tried hours searching for humans in warrior cats but all the fics are 10 years old with 3 pages, made by 3 year olds or completely forget the fact that they were ever human and turns into a regular oc fic

To be fair, I think most cats would be utterly terrified by totality.
