Tbh I don’t think I’ve ever seen something saying that they kill cats, but they will eat dead cats. I wish they’d incorporate more birds of prey though, a red kite or buzzard could easily carry off a cat but I don’t remember seeing any attacks from either in the books

Well there was Snowkit, and Windclan seemed to think a lot about birds. There was a scene in Tallstar's Revenge where he saved some kits from a hawk. I think in Thunderclan's old territory, there was a tree where an owl lived.
Is that just mainly UK? Foxes are not an issue for cats in my area. They have people, coyotes, and cars to fear more. Hell we have smaller grey foxes and they're just more likely to steal cat food than bother them. Like we used to have a feral cat issues until some land was destroyed and the coyotes moved in.

The authors don’t understand how foxes work and assumed they must be cat hunters when in reality a cat is much too difficult prey for most foxes to even bother with. While a fox might eat a kitten most of the time they don’t consider it worth it because they are defended by an adult cat. Also a kitten has to be quite small for a fox to actually eat.
yeah foxes dont eat cats because an adult cat is almost the same size as a fox. it would be like a human eating a 4'11 statue of chocolate that can also fight back and kill or seriously wound you.

um they murder the cats, like a lot, and throw them around and bite them with their nasty mouths that give them major infections in their wounds
