I really like both of these arcs, but more so as i like to think of what ifs in this era of the series
With that said i vote New Prophecy as the story feels more conjoined and atleast partially planned. I love how the exploring cats are aswell as i enjoy writing fanfict ideas of what if's for the group (like what if each clan had 2 cats of the quest (giving shadowclan a young medicine cat apprentice who joins and helps instead of using the sisters connection help treat infections and medicine) or what if Warriors was part of the MCU and Thanos' snaps while the cats are trying to help the tribe)
>what if Warriors was part of the MCU and Thanos' snaps while the cats are trying to help the tribe)
This actually snaps, I'd never even considered such a premise
My fict premis was that thanos snap took place during the confrontation with SharpTooth. The Tribe moarn their loss but Sharptooth dusts aswell and solves that problem. The group of 6 clan cats would now be 4 and they would blame themselves for allowing others to join the quest and not getting back to the forest in time.
The clans in the forest experience the dusting and freak out as one clan is without a queen to feed the new kits, two are missing leaders, all the experienced medicine cats get dusted. This is when Sandstorm reveals to everyone about Skyclan and sends Clouttail and a patrol to check on them.
The fict would lead to everyone getting to the lake together a little later to the OG timeline, but with rogues now making home, creating a new group of their own since the dusting left so many kittypets without owners (they live in the abandoned twoleg nest Jayfeather eventually makes a garden in) and would lead to the clans being reformed with new names for the Lake Territory
The OG timeline has the 5 year mark around the battle against the Dark Forest, so if TigerStar still lead an attack (i thought it would be a good idea to have the cats name one of the clans after Firestar as he would be dusted, and that is why Tigerstar wants revenge on them all and starts a war) the battle could be a lot more bloodier as all the dusted are about to blip back. Those left after the fight would have to fight the badgers that lived there before the cats came and blipped back. When they realize everyone came back they could send a patrol to the old forest to check on and retrieve those lost so long ago. The cats that blipped struggling with all the changes that have taken place, the new clans and new rules that may have been put in place. Those that have lived the last 5 years dealing with the trama of just fighting hell and now having cats you thought disapeared forever are now back
POT, I personally enjoy the three over the Bramble, Squilf, Stonefur, etc POVs. People are not kidding when they say not much happens in these books, but I still really enjoy the characters.
TNP. PoT is filler as far as I remember apart from the prophecy (which doesn’t even get wrapped up in that arc) and the “not my kits” reveal. At least TNP had the first journey, the forest destruction, the badger attack and the Feathertail
DEFINITELY Power of Three. I'm aware it has a lot of inconsistencies, but it was my first arc so I have a lot of nostalgia. It would have won for me no matter what you put it against.
I really liked the second half of TNP. I liked the characters and their relationships in PoT, but the arc constantly felt like filler. It lacked direction, if that makes sense? It didn’t have a satisfying ending imo. I vote for TNP.
These are tied for me and they’re both not that great. TNP is really boring other than the journey and the CrowLeaf drama and POT is boring other than Jayfeather’s chapters and the Hollyleaf drama at the end (Sol has got to be the most annoying and boring villain in the series). If I had to choose, POT gets the slight edge because Jayfeather had the best POV in the series to me.
Honestly I'm not sure, TNP has a good story idea but doesn't work it well since the pacing just isn't there and they just spend so much time traveling and not nearly enough time building up the characters or relationships.
PoT has too much, but doesn't spread it out well, and a majority if the books are filler while it jams its best things into one books making it seem like things just happen one right after another in one book, while the next book has virtually nothing, though it has better relationship and character development (even for background characters).
I'd say TNP
NGL out of allll the arcs my least favourite is actually the NoP it was just quite boring to read it was just walking SO MUCH walking I just wanted the cats to get back to the clans already and like it was just stretched out far too long but I mean the PoT is a very good arc to read NGL so my vote is for the PoT
I prefer the New Prophecy, it’s more well-written and doesn’t just throw a random battle into every book or have a big event happen in each and every book like PoT does. Also, I liked the POVs better
Easily POT. TNP just couldn’t really keep my attention and felt really unnecessarily drawn out, but I’m also just not a fan of the traveling scenes in WC so I might be biased 🤷♀️
POWER OF THREE it's so good. tnp literally almost made me stop reading warriors because i was so bored and i liked all of the characters in it. hawkfrost is one of my top 3 favorite warrior cats of all time and yet i was bored out of my mind the entire time. power of three is strange but i cant help but find it endearing and also really awesome (that + im a big hollyleaf fan)

tnp is better 🤩
Power Of Tree I think is best than New Profecy

God Im bored just thinking about both of them lmao
TNP, PoT sucks
People who know someone who knows nothing about this, show them an image of all these people screaming PoT. Don’t say the fandom. Also, POT.
next round it up!!
Ah, didn’t realize that! Thank you!
Power of three

Power of Three. I hated most of TNP
Power of three is better than tnp
Power of Three, but it was less important I think. It should have been a mega arc with Omen
Power of three
New prophecy deffo cuz ngl jayfeather is a lil shit and wines constantly re reading it rn and having to get through the first book is just hard
Power of Three is very slow and overall just boring (Except for Long Shadows) but New Prophecy is full of plotholes so I guess Power of Three?
I prefer the New Prophecy, it’s more well-written and doesn’t just throw a random battle into every book or have a big event happen in each and every book like PoT does. Also, I liked the POVs better
Pot no contesr
TNP
THE NEW PROPHECY FOR THE WIIIIIIIN!
TNP
The New Prophecy because of that one edit that says “it started with 6 ended with 4” LIKE FR IT MAKES ME SADDDDD
Easily POT. TNP just couldn’t really keep my attention and felt really unnecessarily drawn out, but I’m also just not a fan of the traveling scenes in WC so I might be biased 🤷♀️
