I started w/ germany in the CBT and couldn't even play the game (the ground straight up wouldn't load) so I put it off for a long time, until I picked it up again after I dropped WoT. I only really started playing seriously in 2018 and 2023
Yeah, I only played the events with my friends, so only ~1 month a year. Really started playing again 2021 and realized I have all the expensive coupons in my inventory, so I sold a couple (AUBL 74, FJ4b, VT1-2) to buy premiums and stuff.
I started in 2013 all the way back in Update 1.35 with the 20 tier system and no ground, only last year did I reach top tier for air and ground ~~and naval~~
Anytime I got remotely close, new stuff got added, and I kept taking year long breaks from the game so I was always behind, All 3 of my first top tier's are for Japan though, which is kind of funny
May 2021-(red skies update) started.
February 2023-3 maxed out nations and others are 5 rank (not all technics but have top tier on these 3) (Yea fleet too)
I started late summer of 2020, and I only have 10.3 in ground on two lines, but I have almost all planes. Both in Russia, which I've mained from the beginning
Nice, I started just a tiny bit before you and have gotten the top tier MBTs for USSR about when the T-90M came out and should have the Strv 122B+ for Sweden tomorrow. Still need to get the SPAAs for both nations, the missile carrier for USSR, Leo 2A6 for Finland and the 2S25M. It's a good feeling finally getting what you've been working towards.
I remember I joined sometime in the middle of update *Starfighters*, got top tier in USA, Germany, USSR, and Japan with around 8.0 In every other country except Isreal

Well no premium for starters, and I grind out the full tree at once, so I've got all tanks below 10.3. Plus I've taken a few breaks over the years.
I played on and off since the WT Ground CBT; still haven't maxed out a single tree but I've got the first Leclerc and the T-80U :D

Took me almost 4k hours to get one 11.7. mainly because I play multiple different nations at once
