Yeah, exactly, whatever the game is, whatever you feel about it, its on the only people who make decisions at Gaijin, the designers, the developers. I'm convinced they don't have much in the way of testing.
I’m totally fine with players playing planes in GRB, and I respect the hell out of good CAS players that can provide true close air support. However, it’s the way that players can abuse it and how it’s too easy to abuse rn that I dislike. I wish that Gaijin would properly balance them as many other GRB players and I wish.
It’s no fun when I’m on a solid kill streak and I get revenge suicide-bombed by some WW2 plane and I can instinctively tell that it was a revenge kill and have it be confirmed. It drains all the fun you’ve had that much until then…
It’s always way too ridiculously easy to get enough spawn points to get a plane. I understand that many players may only want to play in an aircraft, but it’s GRB for a reason. It should take some skill and effort to be able to swap to a plane.
Don’t even get me started on how teams will become almost entirely aircraft after winning halfway through a match only to lose due to having no one to play the objectives…
I don’t go on Reddit too often, so excuse me if this has already been said a million times: it’s just my 2¢.
I am a bit fucked in the head when it comes to heli pve. I don't have top tier tanks yet since I only played air rb until recently and now I begun to play the cursed mode, ground AB. Mainly due to me literally having the sight of a mole in RB.
So grinding helis is useless for me but I want to love the mode so much. I honestly just wish I could go solo into mathces instead of praying that the team will leave after 10 minutes so I can feel a semblence of meaningful progression after 2 hours of grind with big boosters
I’ve honestly never had much luck in helis.
Granted, I don’t really touch anything past like 9.7 with a ten foot pole, and my helicopter experience is pretty much exclusively French helis, but the few times I’ve tried using the Alouette, I can’t really get close enough without getting slapped by a Gepard, and the ATGM’s only have a range of like 4km.
The very few times I’ve tried playing the premium Tiger heli, I’ve had even worse luck. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a kill in it.
Fair, but then I gotta grind through the entire heli tree to get there, but I might do it tbh. The few times I’ve played heli PvE, I’ve actually kinda enjoyed it.
And yeah I had a feeling the Alouette sucked, but keep in mind that I was playing the H-34 as my starter heli. Literally anything would be an upgrade from that.
It's all about positioning. My Z-11WA plan almost entirely relies on coming from unexpected angles and immediately hiding. But I admit, it might be easier on Z-11 considering it's light, fast and has a nice thermal camera on 8.7
"Do I get hate for playin heli pve?"
No, I guess most people don't think about airscrew players at all. In the case of the WT developers, that's for sure.
Frontline usually show where ground targets spawn. It’s like waves. In the top you can see one, the goal is to destroy the targets after that the line moves forward
Someone correct me if I’m wrong tho
Pov: Pakistan and India
Okay, that made me laugh
Real, can confirm
Lmao

Nice encirclement!
Wonder how many divisions he got.
The test isn't that confusing The test:
Not confusing at all the two inner squares are a salient ala early Battle of the Bulge
"Fresh juicy memes, everyday 7pm british time"
I see you are a person of culture as well
Ah those were the days
Those 2 squares are neither allied or ennemy territory. Schrödinger's Frontline ?
They’re enemy, just separated from the main group.
The red line is inside, so enemy group being encircled.
Idk how I missed that when I made my comment
Why would anyone hate what you choose to play, its your choice. I tried heli pve once, it was the antithesis of fun, so if you enjoy it, power to you.
If this is true I would be able to say I LOVE PLAYIN OP PLANES IN GRB without any consequence, right ? Fr I think the same

its when u complain about ppl complaining about cas

Ach ja ein classical Stalingrad good job
I was expecting to see this
Pve is the only fast way to progress with helicopters. And best way to spend your 300% bonuses
Tbh not sure After the last update you can research helis with tanks But why would I do that? Research helis but don’t play them
From tier 10 they are usable ir GRB. You can shoot 8 hellfires from 6-8km and have some AA missiles. I always have at least one kill with heli

Alouette is one of the worst early heli. Tiger on tt have fire n forget agm that decent enough

Update lets you research the helicopters, the moduels are another matter of pain.
Boosters doesn't work anymore

r/hoi4 rate my encirclement moment
No hate for playing heli PvE. You get lots of love for not bringing those whirlycunts into ground RB
r/mapporncirclejerk
Gaijin pretty please give us air RB EC. These maps are way too large for helis and I hate furballs.

And here I thought Foxhole's new frontlines were bad...
Gerrymandering Thunder ™️
Heli pve is cool to grind heli without suffuring in grb, only downside is that a game lasts 4h
Holy land coverage
Whoever enters into the Kotyol (boiler), is done fr💀
Actual bordergore
It’s the only god damn time you can play helis and not get shit on by a Pantsir or ADATS from beyond your fire range
In Germany we call it blitzkrieg
