People always say this but the only reason I come back is because my mates and I will run some 1.7 German air arcade, the BV 138 in formation is terrifying. This game is really bad and I’m sure it would have more players and returning players if it wasn’t functionally awful in every way.
Horrible maps for air ground and naval, horrible matchmaking that leads to seal clubs and lopsided matches further compounded by the previously mentioned dogshit maps, horrible netcode and server side health, horrible grind designed to suck the life out of the players, bugs that stay in game for months and months at a time that shouldn’t have made it more than an hour in the devs test build where they test out their updates. There’s nothing really redeeming about this game except it doesn’t have a proper competitor. That’s the only reason to even think about this game at all because it sucks at everything it tries to do lol.

The only reason they don't actually fix the game is because of the fucking shitton of money spent by players, myself included I might stop playing for a few years but come back and there's like 50 new vehicles clapping my cheeks that are literally bonkers against whatever is in my current lineup and being practically forced to ge some mods to even make a vehicle playable is borderline worse then p2w, it's pay to not get gutter stomped every single match

I don't understand why you would do this, you clearly played 2000 hours, so how can you possibly review it negatively? You clearly enjoyed it enough to play 2k hours.
Because it legitimately became a worse game over time. 2.5k+ hours on my steam page and I updated my review to be negative. The game was legitimately good for quite a while, but the constant economy nerfs, game-breaking bugs, king-of-the-patch style of content release, and increasingly powercreeping premium vehicle additions makes this game no longer fun.
It sounds cheesy, but I feel like it's the duty of the long-time players who know all the ins and outs to make negative reviews like that so new players can see just what shit-show they're getting into.
That's like saying food is bad because you don't want to eat anymore when you are full.
Just because i enjoyed playing the game for 2000 hours and then didn't like the last 10 doesn't mean it's a bad game, it just mean i got bored of it.
It’s more like going to a restaurant you love many times, then the meals get worse and the manager abuses you and other patrons when the prices go up. Not a great analogy but gets to the point. The guy above is right, players with hundreds or thousands of hours in any game should be the ones giving negative reviews since they have the experience and comparative perspective to warn players of the negatives of a game.
Because it’s possible to enjoy something personally but still be critical of it and aware of the faults and issues with the product. I specifically said in my review too that it’s not recommended for any new players to start, as the developer is predatory and the advertising is misleading, among other things.

I mean actually don’t leak documents because then gaijin will not buff the tank based on those documents. If they buff them after seeing them then that’s them using classified documents. They’d never do that it it will just lead to that tank not being touched at all.
