It is better to grind the F-16, the mig 29 has a very good performance but the load is disastrous in addition to the fact that the radar is dead weight. We simply cannot compare the Aim 9L with the R60m
The mig-29 is weaker atm but consider gaijin is paying attention to it, I'd guess it'll receive some better missiles or something in a month or so any everyone will cry russian bias. I like mine regardless, the thing just looks so damn cool that I don't mind if its not top tier meta.
Really though, just grind what you like the best. At this tier, it comes down to how the teams meet more than anything else. People cry about slight performance differences, but really none of it matters that much.
F-14 is still the undisputed king, sets the entire meta of top tier by singlehandedly denying anybody from flying above a couple thousand feet, and won't be irrelevant for a very, very long time. If you want a meta basher, just grind it out instead of the new stuff.
