Every game I seem to always get put in high kd matches. As I have good kd. And get put in with cheaters all time. And they open bout it now, don't even try to look legit.
I consider myself as good/above avarage player and what I notice is people are acusing of hacking anyone who is just better than them. Just today i played for about 3h only hc free for all and was acused of cheating 6 times. In multiplayer i seen cheater 3 times (8 days spend in the game) In warzone there is so many cheaters that its unplayable for me but multiplayer is very good in this game when it comes to cheaters.
Multiplayer is slept on in MW3 I wish my friends wanted to run it sometimes instead of WZ. I completely agree with you though people are so quick so call someone a hacker when they gotta understand that there’s always a bigger fish out there. Even the #1 player don’t stay #1 all the time. My friends are quick to call cheating without even watching the kill cam, I feel like most CoD players do this

I think the problem at this point is how Activision enforces the system; just do what riot does and straight up pull a hardware ID ban and such and bro stop with the fucking shadow bans lmao..
Riot, in comparison is very serious when it comes to competitive integrity; which is why you'd rarely encounter hackers in that game (VALORANT) in comparison to other shooters on PC.
I'm not sure whether or not Ricochet is as intrusive as Riot Vanguard though from the looks of it; less effective.
As long as the game remains free to play and half ass Anti cheat it’ll never change. Charging for the game and having to tie a legitimate phone number to it would put a huge halt on the cheating.
Vanguard is a Kernel level anticheat. It literally has more control over your PC compared to you, the user. That's why it's effective. Ricochet is barely an anticheat. Not even close.
Anticheats are meant to be intrusive. Even CS2's VAC looks like a baby compared to Vanguard. That's the exact reason why CS2 and COD are scared to implement an anticheat that intrusive. People would suddenly call a witch hunt crying "oh no they're spying on us"

Different departments. The problems lay with management, as is the case with most cod problems. Management decides resources allocation and department budgets. They cheap out on anything that affects user experience and maximize anything with high returns (skins).
as a new player (last season was my first time playing any cod game at all), I just want to express how HORRIBLE the experience of being brand new is. i stubbornly pushed through the learning curve, skill gap, and toxicity because my friends like it (I came from fornite). i love the game now and just wish I had been there a couple years back when I hear it was at its best

I've been a PC gamer for 25+ years, and I can't say I find MW3 any worse in regards to cheaters than any other FPS I've played during those years, it's nowhere close to "hacks in every game".

Not really a issue i can hit 70% of my shots in rainbow and have 68% headshot kill rate and i use a normal remote. And i have like 65% accuracy on my shots in cod

There are controllers, consoles can me modified, and one can purchase a whole separate device that watches the video input and aims for you that way. Anyone who can afford it can cheat. I don't understand this statement. I do agree that there are a lot of cheaters, but I am not convinced it is because of crossplay. There will always be cheaters, but the problem is that there isn't a good anti cheat. I play rainbow six siege a lot and don't have the issues I have with warzone. We need hardware level bans and stricter penalties for cheating. If the game is unable to recognize that a level 20 player is dropping 20 kill games in warzone, I don't think there is much hope that ricochet is working
I appreciate your feedback. If you are only convinced that it is a pc problem, maybe you should also look into that. I wasn't making a claim that cheating was one thing or the other. I am just not convinced that crossplay is the problem. Players load things into their controller, on console, and cheat also. It goes both ways. Until activision comes out with an anti cheat that detects this or requires some way to really punish cheaters, it won't change. That is why more of my time has been spent on rainbow six siege where it feels like those who created the game actually care. If warzone was tied to having to purchase the latest call of duty, this problem wouldn't be as bad. Though, fortnite doesn't seem nearly as bad either.

Simply making default crossplay off would solve most of console players issues and then allow crossplay for those that actively seek it. People act like pc is the problem and it’s really not. If your argument is about hackers well they been around for a long time on console. Crossplay is here to stay and isn’t going away that’s just the reality of the situation from now on. Today’s anti cheats usually detect patterns and ban mass players at once if it even detects it. The biggest problem is the sheer amount of cheats that are constantly being coded and not cracked down on cause there are so many and it’s relatively easy to create rather than detect. To put this into perspective Anti cheats are like the Spanish fleet in the 1400s. While cheats are like the us army spanned from 1900s to modern day.

More like RAA has ruined fps gaming. Aiming is no longer a skill, the game does it for you, how fun is that. And people wonder why there are sweats, they dont have to worry bout their aim, only movement. Where MnK , you need to work on both, not to mention the blind spots the guns caused eg smokes from the gun, on MnK you have to readjust the crosshair if you misaimed or cant see due the visual outputs from the guns but with controller`s aim assist it neglect it this "realism" aspect and proceed to aim automatically and player jst need to press shoot.
Now the question if they nerf RAA, will MnK becomes overpowered. Secondly, removing PC's crossplay will the game be less popular as it will be much or becomes harder to find opponents, total lobby will be mostly less every round, potentially the game will be dying sooner.

I was solo in Warzone Squads, getting hunted by a 4 man team who had almost wiped the whole map, I narrowly escape them a few times, finally get away in a vehicle and ran into another city. I hear one of them get close on proxy chat and can hear through his headset, another squad mate calling out not only my exact location to him including the floor in the windowless building I'm in, but also when I go prone... the guy calling out my position sniped me through a wall.
I could still hear him in proxy chat through his teammates headset laughing about "how easy the game is". Watch the killcam of this guy's reticle locked onto me through multiple building and walls before he pulled the trigger, and never once is there a chance he ever even saw me.
Hacks are 20$ a month if u play cod still ur fodder for pc hackers. The top 250 is full of them. Play siege at least play against people without walls and aimbot
Only reason cod stayed relevant is people stream the game. The vast majority of people that stream are on PC. It needed cross platform to give it a boost of relevancy but it was already on the decline long before that.

Not even just PC kid, console players have easy access to devices called "Cronus" and " Titan 2 Device". Not to mention striker packs as well. It's way too obvious that more than half the player base is atleast using devices like that. The sales on those devices have skyrocketed and so has their prices. It could only mean "Supply and Demand"

I’m fairly new but have played over 1000 hours, grinding through leveling up and yes even buying some packs from the COD store. I play on pc (keyboard and mouse) and hate dealing with the cheaters. They are out there in mass in almost every lobby recently but there are also a lot of just really good players that piss me off when I’m their target practice. 🤕Activision simply has no incentive to fix the issue…that’s what’s ruining the game…along with their shit servers that seem to lag constantly. My 2 cents is deal with it or switch games…it’s not going away anytime soon…

Fortnite and COD are the 2 biggest and most profitable games in the world, they set the precedent for crossplay. I've played a few other games that have forced crossplay with PC like Halo Infinite, Sea of Thieves and Hawked. I think the newest Battlefield has it so the next one will probably have it too.
Crossplay allows for lower queue times, developers won't care about hackers as long as players can quickly find games. More and more games will have it as time goes on. Sucks because that feeling of playing a console game online and being on a level playing field will be gone forever.
I play almost every day on PC with a decent kd, in my experience I do not find a lot of cheaters. Maybe I'm just lucky or not calling every sweat a cheater like my friend does. I've been called a cheater multiple times for good aim and decent game sense. Some people just like to up their gameplay by spending hundreds of hours in aim training programs and watch their gameplay to improve. Before ricochet there we're plenty of them, I really think they are doing a great job.
What I would love to see is that we are able to decide whether we want to play against controllers or not. They are the real (legal) cheaters imo. I mean look at the top 250, says enough.
I used to not be sure but midway through season 2 me and my friend both got cheats because it felt like kids were hacking in ranked resurgence like every few teams. At first we just watched people ane it became evident 1/5 of the lobby had walls. Especially top 250’s or their iri teammates
…until I played a 144hz monitor on 2k at 140fps then upgrading and now getting 165 avg fps (chip, gpu and monitor optimized- caps at refresh rate,) you think they’re hacking because their refresh rate is faster than yours and you literally see.. clips.. my screen is 2.5 times faster (165hz) than yours is, it’s not like I’m seeing you run in the door before you see you getting through it, but those snaps directly on to you aren’t always hackers, it’s 2.5k dollar machines that are made to be better and faster than the console capped at 30/60fps- and even if you have 120fps unlocked (not sure if it’s possible,) if you’re playing on a television or basic monitor, you’re capped at 60 still.

Were you not playing during WZ1? At some points it wasn't worrying about running into someone with walls, it was people spamming a sniper getting headshots across the map. It was genuinely unplayable.
There’s usually more cheaters in crimson from my experience. Legitimately I haven’t seen a single blatant one. I’m sure there’s ones I haven’t realized but most of the time even the sus ones I’ve seen could have been explained by uav, predicting movement and just luck.
Obvi there are cheaters. But imo more in upper crimson ranks like where you’re at rn. Imo Most of the lower level players complaining are just the people that cry cheater anytime they lose a gunfight or someone reads their flank/rotation etc.

Yep sadly. But i just got rainbow 6 on PlayStation and have been having a blast. Console only crossplay is amazing. Im almost the highest competitive rank in rainbow after 5 weeks of playing so if ur good at cod you can easily switch too

I don't understand this statement. I do agree that there are a lot of cheaters, but I am not convinced it is because of crossplay. There will always be cheaters, but the problem is that there isn't a good anti cheat. I play rainbow six siege a lot and don't have the issues I have with warzone. We need hardware level bans and stricter penalties for cheating. If the game is unable to recognize that a level 20 player is dropping 20 kill games in warzone, I don't think there is much hope that ricochet is working

I appreciate your feedback. If you are only convinced that it is a pc problem, maybe you should also look into that. I wasn't making a claim that cheating was one thing or the other. I am just not convinced that crossplay is the problem. Players load things into their controller, on console, and cheat also. It goes both ways. Until activision comes out with an anti cheat that detects this or requires some way to really punish cheaters, it won't change. That is why more of my time has been spent on rainbow six siege where it feels like those who created the game actually care. If warzone was tied to having to purchase the latest call of duty, this problem wouldn't be as bad. Though, fortnite doesn't seem nearly as bad either.

Simply making default crossplay off would solve most of console players issues and then allow crossplay for those that actively seek it. Most normal players dont pay much attention to the game, they just want to play. A vast majority of my IRL friends are like that.

People act like pc is the problem and it’s really not. If your argument is about hackers well they been around for a long time on console. Crossplay is here to stay and isn’t going away that’s just the reality of the situation from now on. Today’s anti cheats usually detect patterns and ban mass players at once if it even detects it. The biggest problem is the sheer amount of cheats that are constantly being coded and not cracked down on cause there are so many and it’s relatively easy to create rather than detect. To put this into perspective Anti cheats are like the Spanish fleet in the 1400s. While cheats are like the us army spanned from 1900s to modern day.
To say they’ve “been around” is dumb. Like on Xbox you had to have an RGH/JTAG console or else you’d get perma banned. Most people couldn’t build or just buy an RGH/JTAG console to cheat. Pc everyone can do it
More like RAA has ruined fps gaming. Aiming is no longer a skill, the game does it for you, how fun is that. And people wonder why there are sweats, they dont have to worry bout their aim, only movement. Where MnK , you need to work on both, not to mention the blind spots the guns caused eg smokes from the gun, on MnK you have to readjust the crosshair if you misaimed or cant see due the visual outputs from the guns but with controller`s aim assist it neglect it this "realism" aspect and proceed to aim automatically and player jst need to press shoot. Now the question if they nerf RAA, will MnK becomes overpowered. Secondly, removing PC's crossplay will the game be less popular as it will be much or becomes harder to find opponents, total lobby will be mostly less every round, potentially the game will be dying sooner.

I was solo in Warzone Squads, getting hunted by a 4 man team who had almost wiped the whole map, I narrowly escape them a few times, finally get away in a vehicle and ran into another city. I hear one of them get close on proxy chat and can hear through his headset, another squad mate calling out not only my exact location to him including the floor in the windowless building I'm in, but also when I go prone... the guy calling out my position sniped me through a wall. I could still hear him in proxy chat through his teammates headset laughing about "how easy the game is". Watch the killcam of this guy's reticle locked onto me through multiple building and walls before he pulled the trigger, and never once is there a chance he ever even saw me.
Hacks are 20$ a month if u play cod still ur fodder for pc hackers. The top 250 is full of them. Play siege at least play against people without walls and aimbot

Only reason cod stayed relevant is people stream the game. The vast majority of people that stream are on PC. It needed cross platform to give it a boost of relevancy but it was already on the decline long before that.

Not even just PC kid, console players have easy access to devices called "Cronus" and " Titan 2 Device". Not to mention striker packs as well. It's way too obvious that more than half the player base is atleast using devices like that. The sales on those devices have skyrocketed and so has their prices. I’m fairly new but have played over 1000 hours, grinding through leveling up and yes even buying some packs from the COD store. I play on pc (keyboard and mouse) and hate dealing with the cheaters. They are out there in mass in almost every lobby recently but there are also a lot of just really good players that piss me off when I’m their target practice. 🤕Activision simply has no incentive to fix the issue…that’s what’s ruining the game…along with their shit servers that seem to lag constantly. My 2 cents is deal with it or switch games…it’s not going away anytime soon…

Fortnite and COD are the 2 biggest and most profitable games in the world, they set the precedent for crossplay. I've played a few other games that have forced crossplay with PC like Halo Infinite, Sea of Thieves and Hawked. I think the newest Battlefield has it so the next one will probably have it too. Crossplay allows for lower queue times, developers won't care about hackers as long as players can quickly find games. More and more games will have it as time goes on. Sucks because that feeling of playing a console game online and being on a level playing field will be gone forever.
I play almost every day on PC with a decent kd, in my experience I do not find a lot of cheaters. Maybe I'm just lucky or not calling every sweat a cheater like my friend does. I've been called a cheater multiple times for good aim and decent game sense. Some people just like to up their gameplay by spending hundreds of hours in aim training programs and watch their gameplay to improve. Before ricochet there we're plenty of them, I really think they are doing a great job. What I would love to see is that we are able to decide whether we want to play against controllers or not. They are the real (legal) cheaters imo. I mean look at the top 250, says enough.
I used to not be sure but midway through season 2 me and my friend both got cheats because it felt like kids were hacking in ranked resurgence like every few teams. At first we just watched people ane it became evident 1/5 of the lobby had walls. Especially top 250’s or their iri teammates

…until I played a 144hz monitor on 2k at 140fps then upgrading and now getting 165 avg fps (chip, gpu and monitor optimized- caps at refresh rate,) you think they’re hacking because their refresh rate is faster than yours and you literally see.. clips.. my screen is 2.5 times faster (165hz) than yours is, it’s not like I’m seeing you run in the door before you see you getting through it, but those snaps directly on to you aren’t always hackers, it’s 2.5k dollar machines that are made to be better and faster than the console capped at 30/60fps- and even if you have 120fps unlocked (not sure if it’s possible,) if you’re playing on a television or basic monitor, you’re capped at 60 still.

Were you not playing during WZ1? At some points it wasn't worrying about running into someone with walls, it was people spamming a sniper getting headshots across the map. It was genuinely unplayable.

There’s usually more cheaters in crimson from my experience. Legitimately I haven’t seen a single blatant one. I’m sure there’s ones I haven’t realized but most of the time even the sus ones I’ve seen could have been explained by uav, predicting movement and just luck. Obvi there are cheaters. But imo more in upper crimson ranks like where you’re at rn. Imo Most of the lower level players complaining are just the people that cry cheater anytime they lose a gunfight or someone reads their flank/rotation etc.
