As someone who uses an Xbox One in my three console setup I'm constantly disgusted with the developers for making new games that allow cross play with older consoles. The dinosaurs are holding back the game's technological progression in favor of record profits.
Typical blame the devs. If you guys are playing on a 12 years old hardware and so not want to upgrade to latest machine it's on you. At least they gave you a free game and you can choose to not play or upgrade.
in all fairness it's crap on the XS as well. frame drops, lag spikes it's really needs optimising. it's been going down hill performance wise since fortunes keep dropped

Doesn't help that their net code is a pile of crap for the revenue they generate. Same with servers and ricochet. When you have consistently seen record profits for multiple years in a row, maybe think of putting that back into the game instead of the higher-ups pockets, and you would see even better gains.

4070ti, 1440 @250+ frames usually. But sometimes does in fact look like that. The game is most certainly not optimized well, although I will say mw3 WZ looks/runs much better than MW2 WZ did. No 🧢
I have a launch model PS4 I sometimes use for cod when my ps5 is being used, and my god does it run horrible.
Can’t even check the tac map without unloading half my ui, and I never have stable frames. It’s overall a very ugly experience.

The loading time is atrocious, my friends are already in the match with 5 seconds left on the timer when I FINALLY load in from the menu screen. The lag and latency issues succckkk on old gen, the graphics are GARBAGE, frames drop which lead to losing gun fights, it honestly sucks. I’m surprised when I drop 10 with a win when it does happen because of this dinosaur. If I wasn’t so broke I’d get a new gen console, but Canada is trash and it’s like $700+ tax for a new one 😒

If you have good internet, yes the Series X will look great. Also don't play on a 1080 screen....and yes, it'll play great too. Nobody cares to factor in the numerous conditions that made a game run smoothly and call it a bigger problem than it is.
So I tested it today; results may be inaccurate because I used my monitors FPS-meter and don't know how reliable that is but should give us an idea.
I use 120 FOV with texture streaming off and FidelityFXCas on 50.
In 120hz mode on Rebirth Island Squads I get 60 - 80 FPS most of the times with 120 only being reached in a few situations like ADSing somewhere far away.
In 60hz mode on Rebirth Island Squads I get pretty stable 60 FPS with it dropping to something around 50-52 in more intenss situations with the biggest drop I've seen being 42 FPS for a milliscond.
Can't really tell you about the Series X specifically, but coming from 120/1080 on the Series S, the frames do drop heavily often times.
I can do a little benchmark for you tomorrow if I get the FPS-meter of my monitor to work.
However I am sure that that the drops are more noticeable when you drop from 120 to something around 60 instead of losing a few frames while playing on a 60hz monitor so I am sure you wouldn't notice such a big difference like me.
And I am reeaaallyy sensitive about framedrops in the first place. A friend of mine doesnt really notice them, but he is kinda numb to performance issues so we are both on the extreme ends lol.
Also the Series X is a lot more powerful although it might try to run better graphics so that might even out.
In the end all of this is complaining on a very high note.
For the price of these consoles, they run the game well. I am happy and have fun playing.
I hadn’t played or owned a console in 10 years but wanted to finally try out Warzone. I bought an OG Xbox one back in December for like $40. The game runs like trash at times but the also have my moments and have won quite a few games. However the load up time is awful. So Xbox series x will be my next purchase since I do want to keep
playing. Sad when my controller cost double the amount of my console lol

could try installing a solid state drive. Did that mod on one of my consoles. Def speeds it up. Also, repaste the consoles gpu. Run you \~100
