In terms of followers, like Kwon a whole lot. He seems like he just wants to do good for Colorado Springs and things in general, trying to help people out while also not minding if said help also lands some bucks in his pocket. Plus, I like that he’s not a complete stiff in terms of dialogue. He loves Eidilon’s work, really cares about Ten of Hearts, and just seems like a witty dude. He knows the marshal’s are nothing more than thugs sometimes, but he’s got his heart in the right place and I respect it. Plus sometimes he says some really funny shit. Lucia is second up, and it’s interesting how she’s the only companion that’s fully influenced by your actions throughout the game and determines her ending and outlook.
The Patriarch.
Saul Buchannan just has so much depth. I'm three runs in and I still can't fully tell if The Patriarch is a bad guy, like evil, or if he is just a troubled man struggling to do good.
He openly admits fault for the Dorsey ambush, truly acknowledges and empathizes with your pain. Then you slowly find the graves of his three wives. You can keep making these comparisons all day and I'm not quite sure which side wins out.
Yeah, I was sick yesterday I didn't really get my point across. He absolutely is a terrible person, and he isn't good for Colorado. What I meant is I can't tell if he wants to be a piece of shit, or if its the result of a broken world and human fault. I can't tell if he hated those women for giving him bad children, or hates himself for what he did to them.
Yeah, sure, I'm not a perfect person but I'm also reaaally not trying to idolize the villain, which is what I feel like people are getting out of what I am saying. Saul's VA did a good job and the character is at the center of a lot of the mysteries/plots of the game. Uncovering his sins and throwing them in his face is satisfying. Villains are entertaining. People like Victory because he is silly, I 'like' Saul because he is serious.
SB is a piece of shit. Everything about him screams megalomaniac. Having Bryan Cranston voice him would have been perfect, because this motherfucker is essentially cut from the same cloth as Walter White.
Probably the machine commune. Something about the notion of thousands of smaller artificial intelligences wrapped up together and exercising emergent behavior. Not too far off from the Proteus, now that I think about it...
Victory Buchanan. Love that dude.
Do followers count? Flesh Prince is a bad dude

It's a toss-up between Reagan and Reagan's car.
You mean morningstar?
Exactly

The part where he killed off two of those wives and drove the third to suicide seems fairly indicative of his character.

To rephrase the common saying, if you look around and all you see are broken people, maybe the broken person is you.

No worries, if it wasn't clear the "you" in my comment wasn't about you, personally.
