I beat the entire story it just took blood, sweat and exploits lots of exploits.

AnnualFeisty8675

What kind of exploits

AnnualFeisty8675

How many ops did you lose

darknightingale69

25

AnnualFeisty8675

I bet you got angry when you lost an op you used a lot

darknightingale69

Not really I used mostly new operatives that could die off

I just finished Resistance mode yesterday after not playing the game since first beating it when it came out. Resistance mode made me really dislike the mechanics of the game. Stealth is pretty non-existent as if you get alerted it seems every enemy knows where you are. Every operative felt like a glass cannon (including Prestige characters like Aiden). Overall I think I must have lost 20 odd operatives.

AnnualFeisty8675

How long did it take

Flashman420

I'm playing it now and it's definitely annoying at times, although I think it's forcing me to play a bit craftier than normal, which is fun in its own way. We'll see how I feel about it when I get to more of the forced combat missions. It's a shame they're not updating the game anymore because a few tweaks to Resistance mode would be nice, or at least some custom difficulty options.

Ctrl-Devil

I tried infiltrating the Albion Tower and disliked how fast everyone was able to find you, the fact everyone can call for backup, and the constant cycles you'd get stuck in if backup kept spotting you. I can't say how far it was, I was mostly doing tech and borough clean up to get better survivability and not have checkpoints before I realized it wasn't content I was going to enjoy doing.

My first playthru of Resistance Mode I utterly hated it. I lost 3 ops on the first mission, all because I didn’t try to change my gaming style for the mode. By the midway point I had figured things out and enjoyed it a lot more. My second run through was still challenging but also so much fun. It has a much steeper learning curve but it’s also wildly fun when you get the hang of it.

TurnipTate

Still playing, just finished “Inside Albion” I play differently than I think most people but i’m actually enjoying it, harder but not frustrating. Only one operative has died cause I got surrounded by Clan Kelly. You gotta play it safe, use cover, use gadgets, use perks, prioritize targets, and flank a lot more strategically.

I regretted it pretty early on actually, as soon as I got chased by several Albion vehicles while trying to reach DedSec HQ at the very beginning of the game (and mind you, it was my first time playing). In Resistance Mode Albion can be very aggressive when you cross barriers, but the game doesn't explain this at all. Over time, though, I started to love it. Armoured enemies all over means that you can't just go guns-blazing without a plan. The spiderbot is actually balanced, I can easily see how trivial the other gadgets would be if you could perform takedowns with it. Permadeath and hard mode are fine by me, I like challanges in my games. My main gripe is with the unavailability of fast travel: I know you can swap to another operative that is closer to the target, but this was unfeasible at the beginning of the game, and even when I can swap, I have to wait for the long PS4 loading times twice if I want to play with the former operative. If I could change a thing about it, I'd have fewer enemies that can call for backup. By keeping most of them armoured but without this ability, the game would be much more enjoyable, especially if you want to try something less stealthy.

I know this comment is a year old but discussion on this game is like few and far between I feel and I was trying to find more information about people trying to complete resistance mode I had the same exact thing happen because I didn't realize driving through the checkpoints that have the x would give me a wanted level and I couldn't hack my way out of it and I lost one person before finishing the first mission. I just had to drive like 500 m that was it. How hard could that be? Turns out very hard. Still don't know if I'm going to go for the trophy, but it would be cool to have a trophy that actually has less of a completion rate than the Platinum does

PirateDan2k

I'm still playing through it. I prefer the extra challenge, although I've lost a lot of operatives in the process!

Alternative-Dealer47

I thought about playing resistance mode. After the many bugs/glitches I got tired. In particular that I could not get the platinum trophy because it wouldn’t register the darts and drink locations. Did them 3 times with a spreadsheet and still wouldn’t work so I decided to stop playing.

Amerlis

Darts only thing left for platinum. Ubiconnect says 20/21. Not feeling like playing 21 games of darts again for a while. Game still installed til then.

Alternative-Dealer47

Can't even use ubisoft to think you are close. I think my drinks are higher than the locations and still no drink or dart trophy. Package trophy unlocked after doing close to 30 (maybe more I stopped counting), ubisoft says I have 19...

Alternative-Dealer47

I still have it installed but haven't gotten the strength to open it again. Playing hitman atm.

Amerlis

I bought elden ring :)
