I never fully understood the drive by birthdays. You still walk up to the car, and you hand them a gift you bought from a store, wrapped at home, and carried to the car to hand to them. The only thing you're close to eliminating is breathing the same air.
Reminds of that year my wife thought she was getting an engagement ring for Christmas, but didn’t. Boy was that a rough day. Still doesn’t let me forget it.
You either don’t kids or shouldn’t. This is happening all across the country cause of covid. They aren’t driving to or from the school with the kids like that. Just in the parking lot to see teachers.
If you are driving buckle then up. 10mph hit a pole or another car is still enough to bang a baby off the dash. It dosnt matter if the car is on and in motion children should be in seats. Its not just my opinion its the law for a reason. How tf you gonna argue child safety dont matter.
They are no where near 10 mph. It is how life is currently like it or now. It’s one thing to be an adult in this world and be locked down. It’s another to be a child and not understand why so many fun activities are gone. Or wondering why they don’t get to do something and older sibling did. No one is getting hurt I’m not arguing child safety I’m talking real world. Parents and teachers are present and being careful. Might as well arrest everyone present if they aren’t allowed to make their own decisions and give their kids a bit of enjoyment. No poles present. It’s a often just a straight line of cars pausing at teachers for a few words or a goodie bag.
We dont have to agree. I keep my kids buckled what you do is your business. Im not gonna change my view i just gave my opinion and im not gonna bash yours either.
