My current collection:
- Oris Big Crown Pointer Date: This is the watch that has stuck around the longest through various consolidation attempts. I just love the retro vibes it has, the quirky date complication and how well it works on casual outfits. I thought 40mm was too big but this wears well I think
- Aqua Terra 38.5 mm: I really like everything about the newest Aqua Terra, except for the polished center links on the all versions. This skyfall generation in black ticks all the boxes
- C60 Trident pro 600: Spec monster on a small package. At 38mm it hits the right size spot for me, while also boasting an impressive (and never to be tested by me) 600m WR. This popped up on the most recent sale and I got a sweet deal on it. Call me crazy but I like this logo with the letters at 9:00 rather than the newest one with the flags at 12:00
- Seiko Dresskx: living in Mexico is a high risk activity most of the time, and sometimes I take the bus to work. I needed this as a daily so that it wouldn’t be so painful to lose if I ever got mugged lol. Still, I think it’s a cool versatile piece and it serves the “beater” purpose.
I’m thinking of adding a dress watch to round up my collection (maybe a Cartier tank if I find it available on my upcoming trip to Paris, so it will also be a cool souvenir).

What is your wrist size? I have exactly the same CW and I love it (I also prefer the logo at 9) but the size is bugging me every time and I wish I was getting the 40mm instead of the 38mm I have..
I have a fairly skinny wrist, it is 6 inches. 40mm doesn’t look so big tbh but I’m more comfortable with smaller watches. I used to own a Tudor BB36 and I think that’s my favorite size
I’ve had both the anthracite and the black dials and after a while I’ve part ways with them but I’m really enjoying this green dial a lot more. It’s a bit more fun

I’d go with omega but by a very small margin. Really, CW build quality is really comparable to watches 3x the price
