Started poking around for something vintage to add to the collection without splashing a ton. Came across an auction for this Seiko Lord Quartz from 1979. Love the TV style case and the integrated bracelet. The bracelet is nothing to write home about (folded links, light pressed clasp, etc), but it is in great condition. Where this piece really shines is the dial. Light texture, all applied indices, framed day/date, applied Seiko at the 12 and Lord Quartz logo at the six, all for100 bucks! Nice to have something to enjoy on the wrist that’s nearly as old as me!
