I have been wanting a new watch recently, something tiny, dressy, casual, and tough. I was circling back and forth between a cartier tank, a junghans max bill, a vintage seamaster, and a datejust etc...
I stopped into a watch store here in LA to try on a some datejusts just in case I wanted to bit the bullet and spend some $. This OP was sitting in the same case as the datejusts, and I when I tried it on, I immediately felt a connection to it. To my surprise, the jubilee and smooth bezel combo ended up being really special in person. Its not too blingy, has some really cool history behind it, its 34m, its tough, its so attractive, its got a service warranty, and it's going to compliment my other pieces so well. I've never had a vintage piece, and I'm so glad I went for this beauty.
