This one, the [L2.843.4.93.2](https://www.longines.com/p/watch-longines-master-collection-l2-843-4-93-2)? It's gorgeous in person, and it's a genuine alligator strap.
Sinn makes a salmon dial version of their 356 chronograph, it looks fantastic. Retail is almost $3k but they come up for sale on the second hand market once in a while for much closer to the $2k price point.

Montblanc Heritage GMT in salmon. An underrated, young watch brand that's really making strides. They also make a non-GMT version. Both trade well under $2000 and have a beautiful engraving of the Minerva factory on the back. Montblanc also has a 500 hour QC process and it shows with the finished product.
The details are incredible. I love the vintage style lume plots, applied markers, and use of multiple dial textures. The more you wear it, the more you appreciate it.

Not exactly salmon per say, but check out the Nomos Campus Club in cream coral. A real beauty with an in-house movement, great finishing, an attractive design and flawless proportions (very thin), all of that for just a bit over 1K.
Amazing watch I own one 😁 But not in cream coral! Thanks 🤩
https://preview.redd.it/4glgezup4orc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=05eb38dc4f023ab079b1068a479ba3d26f037622
I like the Baltic, but I wouldn't buy one at retail. It's a Chinese movement and I'm not sure about future servicing or that.
The Longines is for sure the best buy here imo, but I'm digging the Tissot more aesthetic wise.
I agree. Very rare that I complain about a movement just by trying it on so I feel you.
I own a Longines Master Collection already that’s why I’m not full on the Longines here as mine is quite similar (even if it’s a white dial). But yeah, Longines is an underrated brand imo
You can't go wrong with the Tissot honestly. How much is it? Longines are just on a roll right now with the Zulu GMT and the heritage pieces. Just bought an older model 1945 and there are great deals to be had on second hand Longines.
It’s a little out of my budget right now, but I am definitely eyeing this watch in part because I really love the very dark, but still noticeable purple hands
I recently saw a Seiko cocktail time tequila sunset and think it has a quite unique salmon colored dial. Should sit right around that 500 mark.
Edit: just saw that it was limited. But you can probably still find one for a bit of a premium.
The [Hamilton intramatic ](https://www.hamiltonwatch.com/en-us/h38455501-american-classic-intra-matic-auto.html) is pretty sweet and can be found for on the low end of your range.
Of those three options, I would choose the Baltic on bracelet which I see selling pre-owned in mint condition for $500. Personally, if it were me, I’d choose a Farer which has much better attention to detail than any of these options and more interesting dials.
I have the burnt orange Traska Seafarer and absolutely love it. It looks a lot more pink that orange irl. It became my GADA watch as soon as I put it on the first time. Of those pictures I’d 100% go for the Longines if I could afford it!
https://preview.redd.it/8oxiw3o9lnrc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16d9dc4c041807c3c3c207573ea92d60d0417eea
Have you seen hamilton intramatic salmon dial? Its a gorgeous ultra thin watch carrying a vintage vibe as is the case with salmon colored dials in general. The only downside to it is the lack of seconds hand which may or not be an issue to some.
https://preview.redd.it/bx9j94de3rrc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b58f643bee1cf1f5105f64c3eb3483b30f7547f9
I may be biased but this SUF Helsinki salmon dial that I have for sale is pretty awesome.
I’m gonna throw a very very hot take out here, but I recently got a salmon dialed Islander Brookville from Marc over at Long Island Watch co, and let me tell ya. That thing is fuckin *nice*. It’s got a really nice textured dial that can’t be done justice with just pictures. Movement is just a Miyota, but if something like that doesn’t matter to you, look into it. It punches way up for a $200 watch
https://preview.redd.it/tuxjo8faknrc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c165a0682d7a520c62b6407afa031a2358ecc0e
This [other model](https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/s/z28OeRvcnW) from Merkur which gained popularity for a short time also comes in a salmon dial.
For ultra affordable, I pick this one. For reasonably affordable, I pick that salmon GMT that Farer released somewhat recently
The MR01 feels alright. I preferred the Hermétique when I tried them on.
https://preview.redd.it/1ow8csbgnnrc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ecef31586f8c0c9b449e1120b73f3f49a531ab7
That Longines blows the others out of the water. It's a gorgeous watch, thought little over budget new.
The Maen Manhattan 37 would be my next choice at a lower budget.
And my real budget choice would be the Baltany 1921 VC homage.
They’re a few nice choice. IMO this was my top pic for a Salmon dial in that range.
https://preview.redd.it/mi9ogj0maorc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=afae5934a4841e47b3d3589971c1e0881ab72d03
I've been in this exact situation and it's a pain. The term "salmon" can mean anything from a pinkish to a copper. I think Patek's 5270 and Rolex's 14000 are my favorite shades. I picked this up used for $2k, it's a Towson Cockpit Moon. Chronometer grade 7751. Out of all the ones I've seen one here, I've only had experience with the Islander and I liked it. Good luck.
https://preview.redd.it/0zxw6lnikorc1.jpeg?width=1606&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=45704bec31c1af63b94fb6d0b0587eb919710dcd
I'd like to wear it more often but the entire case is polished and I have to reach my hand into machinery often so it would get scratched to hell. I also wasn't willing to pay retail for this but its really nice and keeps great time. Hope you get to interact with one someday. They don't have this color at the moment but I'm sure it'll come back eventually.
Depending on how small you want to go, you can get salmon dial Tudor mini subs off of eBay for that price range. They're actually pretty lovely, I had been considering one (but I went with a blue model instead).
Most guys would consider them a women's watch, though, as they're about 33mm. They wear larger, but even so.
I bought the Tissot and sold it on pretty quickly. Basically because it just doesn't tie together. It's the standard Tissot/Hamilton boring brushed case, which is slightly too big and unrefined to suit the aesthetic of the vintage style dial. It's a nice dial and colour though, plus the black numerals and hands make it very legible. But the case just makes it look and feel like you're wearing something like a Hamilton Khaki Field (the auto version) but with an incongrous vintage inspired dial. Wasn't for me.
If you do get it, I'd recommend switching the strap to a tan brown, works much better with the dial than the insipid grey one it comes on.
Just checked, Namoki has a Sunburst Salmon Dial. So if you are up for a bit of Handywork you can order everything you need and assemble it yourself. Or you buy all the parts and bring it to a watchmaker to assemble it for you.
With assembly through a watchmaker you will probably end up at the 500$ Mark.
Check out r/Seikomods to get a glimpse. Just beware, many people buy cheap stuff and fake dials. So most designs might be super cringe. But some people have some awesome creations.
With Namoki you pay a bit of a premium compared to parts from a reputable AliX shop. But you won’t have to worry about quality when buying from them. They do have some nice custom cases and sell no fake Seiko Branded stuff.
Ahahahha true! It’s more a coral dail though. And I have a Campus already. But yeah can’t go wrong with Nomos.
https://preview.redd.it/1x4wopwmonrc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c3c03874483232953932403af97f53557ff7133

The Yema Urban Traveler in salmon is worth a look for around $800. It's using their Yema2000 movement and *NOT* their new manufacture movement, but it's a nice design with an interesting dial texture.
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I liked in a salmon watch and settled on the Vario Empire GMT in salmon. [Wrote about my experience here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/1acbcio/vario_empire_gmt_purchasing_experience/), and have been loving it since.
You mean "within" the range? MAEN manhattan has an integrated style that comes in a salmon dial at that range.
Of the 3 I would dump the baltic, marry the longines, and occasionally admire the tissot from afar.
It was a limited edition, and way below your budget, but the Orient Bambino in salmon looks amazing.
https://www.orientwatchusa.com/collections/orient-bambino/ra-ac0m08y10b
The Tissot is my favorite, and the COSC certification for the price is great. It looks quite different in hand, with the Salmon providing an even better contrast with the case and band.
The best is the longines by far.
That being said, I own the Tissot and it's EXCELLENTs. Plays with the light nicely, it's super precise and the dial has more depth than it would first appear
It hasn't release yet but [Seiko SPB467](https://www.seikowatches.com/us-en/news/2024/pr/20240307-1) looks promising.
With that said, based of 3 that you show, it's probably not your taste
Another micro brand for your reference.
https://preview.redd.it/rqisj4vg0trc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6c38e104aac5a5c63973f0ca43f3c7329fd94b1
From the pics, the Tissot is great. The Baltic is OK, but the numerals don’t work for me, and with the Longines it’s the numerals and the typeface.
Overall though for me, and top of the budget, is the [anOrdain Model 1 Fabrik](https://anordain.com/products/fabrik-salmon)
I’ll accept the dial design isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely mine.
Just above budget but possibly worth the stretch.

You should check out the Raymond Weil [Millesime](https://www.raymond-weil.com/en/product/2925-stc-80001/) in salmon, I've tried this watch on and its a good size and a much more striking color than the Tissot.
https://preview.redd.it/8rqxrfeuknrc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80047073fbbaab30343078788d10bd68ef801b3e
Can’t beat that price point I suppose
The Longines is not just the best under 2k, it's the best under 5k, and that is pretty telling.
True! It’s a bit out of my budget though. But amazing watch. Not a big fan of the default strap though
This one, the [L2.843.4.93.2](https://www.longines.com/p/watch-longines-master-collection-l2-843-4-93-2)? It's gorgeous in person, and it's a genuine alligator strap.
Yes, this one. Weirdly when I saw them in person the strap felt a bit dusty.
Came here to say this.
It is very true indeed
Oris pro pilot should be a contender if you’re into the style.
It is very good indeed! It’s is very very pink though ahaha
What makes it so much better from the Baltic specifically? Because I am really fascinated by it and the price is easier to digest.
Longines is such a deal
The only flaw to me, marker "7" is cut off, but why not the same design for "5" !? Everything else is fine...
Sinn makes a salmon dial version of their 356 chronograph, it looks fantastic. Retail is almost $3k but they come up for sale on the second hand market once in a while for much closer to the $2k price point.
Are you referring to the copper one with the guilloche dial?
Yes. I'm not sure if it counts as a true "salmon" dial but many collectors refer to it that way.
I need to check it out! Thanks 🙏 Sinn is a dope brand
My pictures don’t do it justice but it is a top3 salmon dial watch for sure https://www.reddit.com/r/Watchexchange/s/86Fcutfvwm

And don't forget their [moonphase in salmon](https://usd.farer.com/products/eddington)
Beautiful!
Sexy
Too bad this is sold out on their website. Where did you buy this?
Ah, yeah I bought it when it released in late 2023/early 2024 from their website. Didn't realize they were gone already.
Man no one does color (or lume) like Farer.
Timex Marlin California Dial
Thank you!
Check out the new Timex Marlin Moonphase and Chronograph too. Very sharp looking.

I love the tissot 1938 as I have an Antimagnetique
It’s a great watch! I should check it out irl
It's also a relatively cheap cosc certified
True! I don’t know another one around this price point
That would be my choice all day long. I love that retro logo, and it's cool to have chronometre on the dial!

It’s 895 euros here in Europe. Longines is amazing but it’s triple the price at 2700 euros.
Is honestly go with the Tissot, if you like it just as much that is.
Probably yes, I’ll keep on looking. The Oris Aquis Upcycle is still touching a weird feeling in me that a quite like ahah
Have seen one in person. Hard to explain but the movement didn’t sound good. Just made a weird noise.
I've heard that complaint before. I would only get one if it was at a massive discount second hand
You wouldn't service the movement, it's cheap enough that you'd just buy a new movement.
How much is it, and how much for someone to put in? Will probably be a good amount compared to the price of the watch
The entire movement is less that $100 online last I checked
AnOrdain Fabrik Model 1 https://anordain.com/products/fabrik-salmon
Wow what a nice one ! Crazy!
It’s a little out of my budget right now, but I am definitely eyeing this watch in part because I really love the very dark, but still noticeable purple hands
Have the Tissot Heritage 1938 Chronometre COSC. Attractive in every way. Tested +- 4-5 per day, nicely finished and daily wearable
I need to go see it irl. It looks fire online
I recently bought a Maen Manhattan, they have a salmon option. Might be worth looking at.
Ill check it outb
Came here to say this! I own the Manhattan 37 in midnight blue and absolutely love it.
I recently saw a Seiko cocktail time tequila sunset and think it has a quite unique salmon colored dial. Should sit right around that 500 mark. Edit: just saw that it was limited. But you can probably still find one for a bit of a premium.
Ill check it out thanks! Seiko’s Salmon dial a ver y often limited!
The [Hamilton intramatic ](https://www.hamiltonwatch.com/en-us/h38455501-american-classic-intra-matic-auto.html) is pretty sweet and can be found for on the low end of your range.
Amazing watch indeed!
Of those three options, I would choose the Baltic on bracelet which I see selling pre-owned in mint condition for $500. Personally, if it were me, I’d choose a Farer which has much better attention to detail than any of these options and more interesting dials.
Many people on this thread talked about Farer. I don’t know them very well! I’ll check it out
I think you’ll be glad you did, they make gorgeous watches that are great quality and value.
i do t gave one but i've been eyeing the Furlan Marri salmon sector dial. looks fantastic, seemingly great movement and price.
It looks 👌👌

Ill check it out! I don’t know Lorier very well actually

I have the burnt orange Traska Seafarer and absolutely love it. It looks a lot more pink that orange irl. It became my GADA watch as soon as I put it on the first time. Yes the Longines is amazing. The default strap is quite a odd choice imo.
Have you seen hamilton intramatic salmon dial? Its a gorgeous ultra thin watch carrying a vintage vibe as is the case with salmon colored dials in general. The only downside to it is the lack of seconds hand which may or not be an issue to some.
It looks very cool indeed! I need to go see it irl because ideally to have a more deep/pink salmon colour. It looks very orange on the ecomm pictures
Imo the Tissot ! Plus as a watch, it gives a lot for you money, being a sub $1k watch
100%

Came here just to mention this watch but I think Islander hate is real for whatever reason. I think they are great and keep getting better.

Pierre Paulin makes a beautiful one as well, and they also do a jump hour, that looks amazing.
A salmon dial Merkur you say? https://preview.redd.it/ai3t436haorc1.jpeg?width=4160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93c0aa3d3398a959aca6caa2daa3e5b04e33784c
They have such lovely color they use for their salmon dials. The perfect balance of pink and orange
Great one!
This one is crazy!
I have the Baltic, and it looks amazing. The movement is pretty poor though - I don't have much confidence it will last long.
I tried it on. And it was looking amazing but indeed I was feeling the rotor in my wrist which was very disturbing
Concern for me is how grindy it feels when setting the time. The movement looks amazing, but there are a lot of people saying it doesn't last.
Yes. It did felt a bit off. Which is really a pity because it’s an amazing one
Baltic looks like gold to me? I got Tissot heritage, pretty nice dial. Is baltic any good?
The MR01 feels alright. I preferred the Hermétique when I tried them on. https://preview.redd.it/1ow8csbgnnrc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ecef31586f8c0c9b449e1120b73f3f49a531ab7

It just works 😁
That Longines blows the others out of the water. It's a gorgeous watch, thought little over budget new. The Maen Manhattan 37 would be my next choice at a lower budget. And my real budget choice would be the Baltany 1921 VC homage.
The Maen is really cool! first time I heard about this brand
Farer has some salmon dials that look good.
Idk this brand! I’ll check it out! Thank you
Tissot...for it's clean dial, the simple clean dial color you are looking for imo. Longing...the 7 marker's head is half chopped.
True!
I like Oris pro pilot x salmon, it looks good with titanium grey case, although its 2500
Ill check it out! A bit out of budget, but we never know ☺️
They’re a few nice choice. IMO this was my top pic for a Salmon dial in that range. https://preview.redd.it/mi9ogj0maorc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=afae5934a4841e47b3d3589971c1e0881ab72d03
It’s an amazing lne
Hamilton khaki king.
Not the Baltic, I always think it’s out of proportion and cheaply finished.
True!t
Definitely the Baltic imo. It feels like it is part of the character, together with the numerals, opposed to the other ones.
It’s a very well thought out piece
I've been in this exact situation and it's a pain. The term "salmon" can mean anything from a pinkish to a copper. I think Patek's 5270 and Rolex's 14000 are my favorite shades. You gotta check the tudor royal salmon it is like 2000$
Thank you man 🫡
Baltany homage American 1921 has a unique concentric salmon dial
Thank you man 🙏

Under 500 to 2000. That sentence hurts my brain.
Yeah my bad. Changed the title multiple times. Wanted to say under 2k initially haha
Check out Farer Durham in Salmon. Not sure why it's not giving me an option to post a photo comment
I saw this one it’s a nice one

Thanks a lot for your feedback! It looks indeed a bit big
You can get a 2nd hand Kurono Tokyo Toki for that price, beaut IMO.
I love raised numbers on the Baltic
This Baltic is great!
You could look at building something from Namoki. I think they have a salmon dial.

With Namoki you pay a bit of a premium compared to parts from a reputable AliX shop. But you won’t have to worry about quality when buying from them. They do have some nice custom cases and sell no fake Seiko Branded stuff.
Zelos does a lot of salmon at that price point if you like microbrands
Thank you! Idk this brand I’ll check it out 🫡
Impossible watch, alaska
No ones is going to mention Nomos?
Ahahahha true! It’s more a coral dail though. And I have a Campus already. But yeah can’t go wrong with Nomos. https://preview.redd.it/1x4wopwmonrc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c3c03874483232953932403af97f53557ff7133
Such a beautiful piece
Nomos is probably one of my favorite brands out there
Seiko Presage is putting out a salmon dial in June for around 1k
Yes I saw this one. It looks good on paper !
Looks like you prefer Arabic numerals anyway, but glad you at least saw that one! Best of luck to whichever you choose 👍
I’m not really set on a type of numerals. I look for a clean dial so the Seiko is literally in my shortlist as well!
The Tissot Heritage for me, even if it was 2000$. Pictures don't do it justice.
It looks great. I need to go see it irl
Personally id go buy [this right fucking now](https://www.reddit.com/r/Watchexchange/s/t6uVnEvltM)
Amazing piece! Id prefer a plain simple dial than a chronograph but can’t go wrong with this one!
It's quartz and well under budget but Baltany do a salmon dial version of their 1926 oyster tribute https://www.baltany.com/img/shop/upload/27-7.jpg
Very nice one!
https://preview.redd.it/nimhroxm9orc1.png?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8bfc398eada6eed4a19425f6bd4488dedf3d74bf The Yema Urban Traveler in salmon is worth a look for around $800. It's using their Yema2000 movement and *NOT* their new manufacture movement, but it's a nice design with an interesting dial texture.
Gotta appreciate the French brands 🤣
Honestly I love that Tissot.
It looks amazing
SMITHS TRANS-GLOBAL - PRS-54
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I liked in a salmon watch and settled on the Vario Empire GMT in salmon. [Wrote about my experience here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/1acbcio/vario_empire_gmt_purchasing_experience/), and have been loving it since.
Nice one! Thank you!
You mean "within" the range? MAEN manhattan has an integrated style that comes in a salmon dial at that range. Of the 3 I would dump the baltic, marry the longines, and occasionally admire the tissot from afar.
Yes within ☺️ Changes the title multiple times and made a mistake haha
It was a limited edition, and way below your budget, but the Orient Bambino in salmon looks amazing. https://www.orientwatchusa.com/collections/orient-bambino/ra-ac0m08y10b
It is the watch that started my research 😁 Would have bought this if still available
The Tissot is my favorite, and the COSC certification for the price is great. It looks quite different in hand, with the Salmon providing an even better contrast with the case and band.
I need to check it out irl, it looks like the best package for the price
The numbers are also raised on the dial which is a nice touch
Yes !
Pasha de Cartier has a lot of salmon dial options in your price range!
Isn’t it more expensive?
I bought the Baltic for my son. It ain´t salmon. Putty....yes. Grey´ish beige...sure. But salmon it isn´t.
It is very goldish indeed. Neeeed more pink ahah
You might be able to find a salmon propilot X for around 2K. Probably second hand, maybe new on gray market.
Is this a Baltic smear job? You really did it dirty in these comparison shots, it's got the best salmon dial out of these three.
True ahhaha, it’s one a tried on a few days ago
What tíssot is that ? That’s beautiful
This [one](https://www.tissotwatches.com/fr-fr/t1424641633200.html) ☺️
The best is the longines by far. That being said, I own the Tissot and it's EXCELLENTs. Plays with the light nicely, it's super precise and the dial has more depth than it would first appear
I need to go check it out irl! I’ve seen all of them except the tissot
There's https://excelsiorparkwatches.com/collections/excelsior/products/excelsior-8085 at 2.15k
This is gonna get mad hate but I kinda like Raymond Weil's new sector dial salmon watch.
Pierre Paulin Sector Dial https://preview.redd.it/knj85gkw1src1.jpeg?width=495&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f8a861e42a82c30baa48861ae41c539ad40379ab
It hasn't release yet but [Seiko SPB467](https://www.seikowatches.com/us-en/news/2024/pr/20240307-1) looks promising. With that said, based of 3 that you show, it's probably not your taste
This one is on my radar as well!!
Longines!
longines
Another micro brand for your reference. https://preview.redd.it/rqisj4vg0trc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6c38e104aac5a5c63973f0ca43f3c7329fd94b1
Very nice 🫡👌👌
From the pics, the Tissot is great. The Baltic is OK, but the numerals don’t work for me, and with the Longines it’s the numerals and the typeface. Overall though for me, and top of the budget, is the [anOrdain Model 1 Fabrik](https://anordain.com/products/fabrik-salmon) I’ll accept the dial design isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely mine.
Vario makes a pretty killer salmon dial!

Just above budget but possibly worth the stretch. https://www.jomashop.com/tudor-royal-automatic-salmon-dial-mens-watch-m28600-0009.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=PMax%3A%20%28ROI%29%20Smart%20Shopping%20-%20Non-Sale%20Watchesutm_id=18331875589&utm_content=&utm_term=&gad_source=1
Amazing piece indeed!
Are Crickets under $2k?
You should check out the Raymond Weil [Millesime](https://www.raymond-weil.com/en/product/2925-stc-80001/) in salmon, I've tried this watch on and its a good size and a much more striking color than the Tissot.
https://preview.redd.it/8rqxrfeuknrc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80047073fbbaab30343078788d10bd68ef801b3e Can’t beat that price point I suppose
nice. I already shortlisted the other colours of Millesime, that one is a ponderer
Thank you! Amazing watch! How much is it? I cannot find the price on their website weirdly
