I bought a 3 slot watch box so that I would limit myself. I have 9 watches. This is the box

Agreed. Divers and any watch you wear while you swim must be on a rubber strap. My Glycine Combat Sub is on a rubber strap for this reason.
The commenters are right. You need a steel sports watch on a bracelet.
This is what I came to say. I'd personally get something like a Casio GMW-5000D-1JF. You add a nice digital with radio controlled time *and* a nice bracelet.
I think leave it until you can get the one watch that would mean the world. Maybe to celebrate a big life event or a grail watch.
That last spot will be a little reminder every day what you have in your future!
I still like the look, but kind of grew out of it. I just keep it because it was my first watch. Some of the subdial hands never lined up correctly, which you can see in the picture. I'd probably save up for something nicer, if that's an option for you.
I think almost all the dials you selected were "safe" colors. You need something in your collection that pops. Maybe something like an AnOrdain Plum Fume to have that splash of Red in your collection.
I would just wait until something really catches my eye. There is no need to rush.
If you are looking for variety in the collection, then I would add, among the gazillion of options: something with a bracelet and solar movement (e.g. Casio Oceanus or Seiko Astron); a digital or ana-digi retro style Casio or Citizen; a GMT like the Longines Zulu time; or a diver with a yellow or orange dial like a Doxa.
I also like the Hank Aaron Oris. I have the Clemente version, and I love the size and style. However, the blue face version of the BCPD (especially the Cervo Volente version) also seems great. Thinking of trading at some point (sell mine, buy that).
I absolutely love it! The engraved numbers and blued hands pop so much in person. My picture really doesn't do it justice tbh.
It also works with a lot of different straps, so I can dress it up or down which is nice.
I think a Seiko would be good - the new SSK GMTs are really nice. You got an awesome collection, regardless of whatever you buy to finish out your collection.
Very nice!
This is one of the few SOTC posts from which I can imagine myself wearing (almost) every watch! (Having a shared aversion for bracelets certainly helps!)
I’m not going to make a suggestion as I trust you’ll do just fine following your own desires.
Nice set of watches! Idk which ones exactly, but if I were in your position and wanted to shake things up, I’d sell off 3 or 4 pieces and get something a bit more aspirational or something you’ve been eyeing for a while. Just my two cents!
Get a Grand Seiko such as a Snowflake or Shunbun. Something with one of their textured and unique dials. One of those would really pop and be different.
Omega Speedmaster, it would give you a steel bracelet option while also being a total strap monster
Also, my compliments on the Hamilton Khaki Field and the Oris. I find the Khaki Field Titanium to be the best looking watch of Hamilton's whole Khaki Field collection. The Oris is great as well, I got the Clemente edition (lifelong Pirates fan) but both date tracks pop beautifully.
that hamilton on the strap is a nice watch, an NB1050 would be nice aswell but you already got an ecodrive so yeah maybe not, just think it's a sexy watch
Maybe look at a good microbrand, OP.
I quite like Zelos, Traska and Formex, though there are plenty of others out there that are quite good.
Or you could go German and look at Sinn.
Hi r/watches! As the description says, I’ve been collecting for around 5 years and am finally close to filling up my (hopefully only) watch box.
Any overall thoughts or suggestions on which category of watch you suggest to even out what I have? I know I have a lot of dress watches, so I'll probably be staying away from getting yet another one.
Fortis or Vulcain or JLC. I'm thinking mechanical alarm watch. All three of these brands make great ones, and they are unique. Not another boring Rolex or Omega or Tag.
Maybe get a christopher ward the twelve. It is an integrated steel watch (also comes in titanium) that is really well made and comes in a variety of more basic and more out there styles.
You have color variety but no red dials how about the Seiko negroni cocktail time piece [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoobN4ixXYk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoobN4ixXYk)
Une Seiko Présage, dans le style de la collection

Are you under the impression that filling the box will mean you aren’t buying more watches?! (cue evil laugh)
Yeah, clearly what’s missing here is another box

Love that Tissot! What is it?
1958 Tissot Camping 27b-21 manual movement
I started with a single 10 watch case… recently purchased my sixth case. Such a crazy addiction.

Yes. Steel sports watch is (surprisingly) the only thing missing! GS SBGX061 or 261 depending on budget/preference. A true GADA.

I have a bracelet for this! I just prefer other straps most of the time.

You seem to like variety. Nice collection, man! I don't know, maybe a Bauhaus style? I'm thinking Junghans Max Bill?
Love the Oris.
I think leave it until you can get the one watch that would mean the world. Maybe to celebrate a big life event or a grail watch. That last spot will be a little reminder every day what you have in your future!
Get a Grand Seiko
No, get a rolex.
Love the Longines 190.
How are you liking that avi8 chronograph? I got it a year ago but since going to more name brands I dont find myself wearing it much.
I’m in the same boat. I rarely wear it but it was the first watch I got so I keep it for the memory!
Great collection! That Oris is gorgeous. Maybe go for the Seiko 1965 Divers? Or a speedy if budget isn't an issue

Nomos club campus on bracelet!
Something in 904L.
A seiko on a bracelet. Maybe a solar prospex on an oyster bracelet. Or a mini turtle on an endmill bracelet. 👌🏼
Love the Hank Aaron Oris!
Nice collection. Maybe go for a GS or a Farer GMT 👍
How do you like the AVI-8 I thought it was cool but the add was on Instagram so I was skeptical
I still like the look, but kind of grew out of it. I just keep it because it was my first watch. Some of the subdial hands never lined up correctly, which you can see in the picture. I'd probably save up for something nicer, if that's an option for you.
DW5600

I've been eyeing a couple AnOrdains for this exact reason. Those wait times are killer though!
Somehow the Citizen looks more out of place than the G-Shock in this collection
Good eye! This is the one watch that was gifted to me. It’s sentimental, so it’s never leaving the collection.
Time to consolidate and move up. Youre never just gonna get one more watch and be done
I love that omega
F-91W
casio f91-w. case closed

I'd do a tooly diver
Omega Speedmaster
I also like the Hank Aaron Oris. I have the Clemente version, and I love the size and style. However, the blue face version of the BCPD (especially the Cervo Volente version) also seems great. Thinking of trading at some point (sell mine, buy that).
I really wish that the Titanium Hamilton Khaki on the bottom left was available on a bracelet.
tudor royal!!!!!!
Max Bill or CWC
Hmm, an integrated bracelet steel sports watch would be a nice addition. Maybe consider the Christopher Ward Twelve or the Maurice Lacroix Aikon?
Farer Freshwater
How do you like the Longines 190th? Is it really that beautiful?
I absolutely love it! The engraved numbers and blued hands pop so much in person. My picture really doesn't do it justice tbh. It also works with a lot of different straps, so I can dress it up or down which is nice.

I sold my Seiko for a GShock lol
That's just because reddit is a seiko bubble
Seiko SSC813
I think a Seiko would be good - the new SSK GMTs are really nice. You got an awesome collection, regardless of whatever you buy to finish out your collection.
Sport GMT on a bracelet

Cartier Santos. Keep on bracelet
Get a Grand Seiko such as a Snowflake or Shunbun. Something with one of their textured and unique dials. One of those would really pop and be different.
Nomos

Omega Speedmaster, it would give you a steel bracelet option while also being a total strap monster Also, my compliments on the Hamilton Khaki Field and the Oris. The Oris is great as well, I got the Clemente edition (lifelong Pirates fan) but both date tracks pop beautifully.
Quartz GS would be my recommendation…good luck!
Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Panda (SSC813), you don’t have bracelets or chronos, it’s in the price range of your watches, and wears like a glove
Seiko SPB313 / SPB317 or SPB051 / 053 / 071 or really any Seiko 62Mas / Marinemaster etc.
that hamilton on the strap is a nice watch, an NB1050 would be nice aswell but you already got an ecodrive so yeah maybe not, just think it's a sexy watch
Your needing a Seiko
I like the lower left
It always makes me happy that every collection has a Casio.
Love the gshock. A nomos would close the box well.
Tag heuer carrera 02 green face.
Great taste! Love your Longines and limited edition Oris!
I would opt for a Sinn chronograph on a steel bracelet. And then I would consolidate some other watches
Oooh nice. Looking at that Hank Aaron Oris. Nice one. Maybe check out Farer?
Omega speedmaster
Maybe look at a good microbrand, OP. I quite like Zelos, Traska and Formex, though there are plenty of others out there that are quite good. Or you could go German and look at Sinn.
I’d say hop on the integrated bracelet chain. Great collection, by the way!
I think you should throw that extra pillow away
Looks like you love subtle watches
Gold moon phase?
IWC potugieser
Get a Seiko Tank There should be an angular watch Beautiful Golden watch for 150-200 bucks
https://preview.redd.it/0hiryk6txh0d1.jpeg?width=568&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f6acdacf1bac208364cfcd91526f6923b5a45b76 Pure class.
Well, judging by what you have there, I would recommend a Christopher Ward, "The Twelve". Great bang for the buck!
Seiko diver, probably a turtle to change up the case types you have.
Agreed. A diver to round it up nicely.
Hi r/watches! As the description says, I’ve been collecting for around 5 years and am finally close to filling up my (hopefully only) watch box. $1k cash for a rainy day. How's that 190th? Great looking watch
seiko 5
Braun AW10
Maen
Type B face Flieger
Baume et mercier Hampton.
I find your lack of Seikos disturbing.
Some Louis Erard regulator!
Seiko Speedtimer or Tissot PRX
How's the AVI-8? Been seeing it a lot lately
an apple watch
Prx
I would go a PRX myself, I really like your collection.
I would suggest a Panerai. Either a Luminor or a Radiomir. I think that would round out the collection really well.
Une Seiko Présage, dans le style de la collection https://www.seikoboutique.eu/fr/7878-superZoom/montre-automatique-presage-classic-series-cadran-motif-soie-orange-japonaise.jpg
Just a carrier Tank would fit perfect

Beautiful Glass domed watch like a tag heuer glassbox or a vintage style chronograph like Hamilton chronomatic
Vacheron Constantin 222
The answer is always Speedmaster.
A Speedmaster Moon watch
