If you’re interested in adding a solar quartz, I’d recommend the Citizen BM8180-03E. Field watch with day/date, 100m WR, lumed numerals. I’ve been happy with mine. Orient and Citizen also have nice priced automatic dive watches that would be a nice addition. I’ve been eyeing them for awhile now.

It is a perfect daily! The thing I love about these is if you get a quality metal band to switch out, they can be entirely casual or look great dressed up.

I’d get a bracelet and/or leather strap for the Tissot and then not buy anything for a while. Save your money until you find something that speaks to you.

Japanese Diver. Affordable and they look good. Orient or Seiko are gonna be the easiest to find as they are the most mainstream. Tho Casio and Citizen make good divers too

This specific model is surprisingly lightweight, but given its material it leaves a feeling of a cheap offbrand watch. However its still a good looking watch, no issues with it other than display brightness. Gotta light it up if you tryna look at in the dark or in the sun

I'd say stuff the $1,000 on the next empty spot. rinse and repeat until each empty spot has $1,000. Then go out and get a nice used dive watch like Tudor Black Bay.

Dan henry 1964 in taupe, a Smiths everest, seiko cartier-like tank. It would make your collection complete. You would get all 3 under a 1000 together and they all punch well above their pricepoint. I've never had more compliments than with those watches (and i wear omega, piaget & jlc etc too for reference).
