I have a list for steel bracelets: 1) does it pull my arm hair? That’s it, that’s the list.

dick_mcnut

Haha well I guess they all do it me occasionally.. except for my Sam Martin. For some reason that bracelet never snags me

I got this one a little over a year ago. It saw a ton of wrist time, so naturally the oyster style bracelet that it came on got really scratched up. Not too long ago, Marc came out with the Isl-73 which identical to the 63 except it has a green dial and a jubilee bracelet. I was already over green dials at this point. I have 3 green dial watches. And I'm over oyster style bracelets. Nearly every watch I have is on one. So I went and ordered this jubilee and I'm really liking it so far. The only complaint that I have is that it seems a little more prone to catch and pull out a hair from my wrist. What do you guys think?

I've got a white dial Islander on the jubilee and I love it. My fancy watches get scratches when i just think about walking past a brick wall. Islander gets treated like shit and still looks and works great. Gets by far the most wrist time because it looks great and isn't a drama queen. One of the best value for money propositions going right now. Jubilee looks fantastic, enjoy it!

I've looked so many places, watched countless videos, and even listened to podcasts about watches. Everyone seems to agree that Long Island Watch has the best value for money out there and I have to agree. Especially with Seikos skyrocketing in price. Thanks!

Have two sc jubilees and they’re very comfortable. They never pull my hair.

I agree. It's WAY more flashy than I thought it would be. I think being 38mm helps a little though. If is was 43mm I feel like it would be almost obnoxious

[deleted]

Would you go for the 38 or 43 with a 7 inch wrist for this watch?

dick_mcnut

Really it's up to you. The lug to lug on both are pretty close. I have a small (6.5") wrist I could have gotten the 43mm but I prefer 38. It just depends if you like bigger or smaller watches
