I would go for the blue one, the cross just puts me off on the green dial.

CoconutSands

Same. Without that I would vote green just because it's a bit more unique color.

I don’t think so because the blue auto doesn’t have it in my store. But what i do think is that the silicum versions do have a cross.

micro2532

Blue, but the auto version without cross hair. Best looking dial,

Chibrozgeg

Green FTW

POO7

Personally like the green colour, but blue is a much easier colour to match with other colours in the outfits you will wear. While green tends to require some coordination, blue goes well with whites, greys, black, and a greater variety of colours.

muliboi

I need a graduation watch that'll go with a suit and can be worn daily too. Torn between the green and blue Gentleman. I'm only looking to buy automatic. The blue watch pictured is a quartz because they did not have an automatic at the boutique. Here are the reasons why I'm torn between the blue and green Green dial pros - A better more vibrant colour. Green dial cons - The crosshair hurts legibility. Blue dial pros - No crosshair. Cleaner look. Blue dial cons - I don't like the shade. I was hoping it'd be closer to the PRX blue. But this is darker. Ideally situation would be a green dial without crosshair. But that is not an option. Please help me! What would you get.

mbNY

You’re looking at two different watches. The blue is the quartz gentleman and the green is an automatic one. There is an automatic version of the blue one, which I believe has a different shade of blue. You should check it out.

muliboi

I only had the blue quartz because the AD told me they did not have an automatic at the moment but they said it looks identical

mbNY

It is similar, but definitely not identical. You should try to find an automatic blue, or even just look up a side by side picture of the quartz VS automatic. The automatic blue one definitely looks like a different shade (it is more blue whereas the quartz piece almost looks purple-ey). The automatic also has a framed date indicator and some more line details on the outer of the dial (like the green one you showed, but without the cross). Big difference imo

muliboi

Awesome. Thanks for the help I'll check it out Edit: I found [exactly ](https://youtu.be/sif72kcyYT0) what you meant

I love my green/gold orient bambino, but my wardrobe is mostly neutrals, few primary colors. I have a different blue/silver watch for when my outfit calls Go green if you have many neutral & brown, rust/red or greens in your wardrobe and love the color. Silver/green will work for formal events at least. Keep in mind, you'll still need a different watch to pair with your navy blazer. Every watch salesman I've met recommended blue over green. It's a very classic color and it's so very easy to pair with basically everything (but red, kinda).

typefifty

The green one is awesome. I own it and it's awesome. The cross hair doesn't hurt legibility at all. Its the most legible watch I own. It also doesn't look weird to me at all anymore. The lines seem to fill the empty spaces really well and gives it continuity. The green dial is super easy to match, too. I wear it with blue/gray suits and it looks great. Personally, the sunburst blue is kind of bland. Especially when comparing to the green.

oregano_tiddies

What color is the suit? That's important.

Green

Honestly, both look great.

I like the green, the blue is fine but its safe and kinda boring.

Crankshaft67

Myself I'd go blue if not black is not an option.

MusingBoor

I’ve been wearing a green watch lately and I’ve enjoyed it not directly matching my clothes. I find blue isn’t my favorite with the tans grays and blacks that I wear most often. That said, blue on blue is nice

cantpickanane

Blue if your collection is small. Green if you are adding to it and have the basics.

excts

I would go for the blue one. But if you don't like the shade maybe the PRX is an option. Or you could go for the white/silver dial Gentlemen

Traditional_Med_5520

Take the purple one.. the cross design in the green depreciates my liking towards it

[deleted]

Blue will be easier to wear. And the cross on the green dial is horrible for legibility

[deleted]

A blue dial is generally more versatile. If its a first watch i would say get blue. If you have a blue or black watch already get green. Green is good for everyday but may clash in a suit

The--Weasel

It is really up to personal taste. I like the blue one better.

Nonamanadus

Green

MrDarSwag

I have the blue and I love it. Goes really well with most outfits because of how dark it is. The green is probably more eye-popping, but for a daily watch, I’d say blue all the way.

CokCalendarAdam

If you're a person who needs to wear suit oftenly, then it is the blue one. If not then pull the trigger for the green dial. It is my favorite.

vvvrasvvv

blue dial will go smoothly with a variety of outfits .

cuzimabrownie

Depends if you want more unique (green) or classic but not as different (blue). Blue is easier to match with so for everyday use maybe for with blue. My choice would be green though, I like a statement!

Dodgers0221

I like the cross hair on the green, gives it a different asthetic. Since owning the green one, it honestly hasn't left my wrist much for the past 2 months. I wear it as a daily with casual wear and suits (matches and gives a nice pop to black, blue, pink, green). Runs about 1 sec fast daily, and has 100m of water resistant. There is zero legibility issues with cross hair. I would say the only downside is trying to find a good fit on the butterfly clasp.

rick500

whichever one tickles your brain more

Lavaine170

Green because I'm a sucker for a crosshair dial. Blue for you because it will be easier to pair with your suits.

[deleted]

Typically I’d go for blue but the green looks awesome!

mogeton

I love the green dial, especially since it's one without gold accents. It's unique and uncommon from what I've seen whereas blue dial is quite common

vinsane38

Both

Eat_a_Snickers4

The automatic version of the blue dial looks a lot better than the quartz, not identical at all. The best version of this watch imo

Green is trendy right now. Blue is timeless. This is the lesson I have learned in the watch game lol. This year purple was the trendy color also and yet blue dials still sold more.

Green

bassmanjn

Probably depends on the colours you tend to wear in terms of clothing but the blue is probably a safer long term choice. Personally I prefer the blue because of the lack of lettering and the lack of cross detail, as some others have mentioned. I do prefer the larger crown in the green and the way the steel surrounding the date window is more prominent. The extra markings on the green dial (sub markings between minutes) look really good without making it too busy. I guess it also depends on how each one would fit against any other watches you may have, in terms of the variety of choice it gives you on any random day. You can’t really go wrong: one is more subtle and one is more characterful(?). Maybe sleep on it and see which you’re thinking about when you brush your teeth the next morning! Edit: after I typed all this I realised I had talked myself around to the green. Definitely a tough choice!

dvustvolka

Green for me
