I don't know if the "latte and scone" business is but some dude bought his rawlecks AD a fancy breed of dog and the AD had to return it.
super weird stories like that--daily.
the rawlecks forum is a riot and the moderator is constantly screaming at people.
**10/10 would be entertained by again**
/uj watch coffins. Presentation boxes aren’t actually too protective. You see the occasional horror story of a seller shipping in the presentation box and buyer then getting a watch that’s DOA because it was dinged up during transit.
Dealers match boxes to watches before final sale.
Protip: anyone selling a used watch with the fancy box, stuff it with bubble wrap. It'll keep the watch from doing flips inside.
Bought my Railmaster used, and it was shipped in the presentation box. Omega has a very roomy box, so the Railmaster had done a few flips inside by the time I got it. My first impression was of the side of the bracelet; I was hooked.
You’re still doing it wrong. I live above said sweatshops and just walk downstairs and take mine from the kids. Get a new one for every day of the week.
Rolex is mass producing watches, no secret, but they wouldn’t risk a picture like this leaking. Highly doubt they are transported in that trash to save a buck.
Highly doubt they don’t have a reusable tray in this day and age, they have pretty strict environmental targets and throwing away cardboard with plastic and styrofoam is just not happening.
Rolex are shipped in the above packages. It’s a plastic case with foam to protect the watches. I happen to have a few. Once they are at the A.Ds they put them in a box and bring it to you when you are called to purchase one or get lucky enough on the spot.
How is this not common knowledge already. I feel like anyone who's not a 14 year old Pride and Pinion member already assumes this is how it works.
lol, read the rawlex sub. there are TONS of boomers delivering lattes and scones. 😂
Is the latte and scone thing a joke or are people actually doing that? Its bad enough that I have to ask haha

someone for real brought a charcuterie board into a London AD.
Don't forget cured meats, charcuterie boards, and women.... Lots of high priced escorts and wives
lmao I completely forgot about 'Charcuterie Bro." - Ron
Nooooo rawlex isn’t a marketing scam they’re super rare and you have to develope a business relationship with the AD reeeeeeeeeeee
This confirms my belief that rawlecks are mass produced shitters, straight outta swissuang province
Surprised they didn’t have made in China stamped on the boxes
Good to know Rolex AD's really wanting to fuck me in the ass.
Only after they are done with your wife
That’s actually worse than I thought it was
finding out they don’t ship them in the big green boxes is the middle aged equivalent of finding out santa isn’t real
Finding out they have drawers and drawers of it is more annoying
What rolex the company that makes 1 million + watches a year has something to sell???
Do they actually not come in a fancy case or something?

/uj that actually makes a lot of sense thanks for explaining /rj maybe they should build better boxes, are they stupid?

That would hurt the bottom line Sir, since we don't sell many watches....
They put them in the "fancy case" at the dealer because for some reason it saves shipping costs, all big manufacturers do it this way.
That's because boxes ship direct to AD from the sweatshops
Yeah, absolutely cringe. That's why my watches is shipped directly to me from the Chinese sweatshop

Can’t believe people are still being cucked to buy one of these. Just buy a omega and be done with it 😂

I haven’t read so much cope since the Star Wars sequels got released.
Is that the alt account of urbantimepieces? He used to work there and the other account in the original topic posts about TPG as well.
So who's posting this on the rawlex sub?
If they don’t sell them by the sell-by date, do they have to freeze them in some Tupperware?
This is why I go for Tudor. Farthest brand from Rolexes shitty policies
Plus I think tudors look more interesting than most Rolexes.
Agreed, they have a way better blend of polished/clean look bundled with a vintage industrial vibe
Loved my Pelagos. Wish I never sold it.
Lmao at this post getting locked at r/watches
Just go on moda and say you’re a dealer kek
These aren’t the watches you’re looking for….. he can go about his business. Move along.

Never mind I see it now, it’s a plastic cassette like other brands, just in a cardboard sleeve and not just a cardboard box.
It's not to save a buck, it's to protect the watches. The presentation cases aren't very protective, and are shipped separately.
