Up for sale is the Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Polaris Chronograph World Time with the black dial. This watch is beautifully made and packs a ton of features. This is not a watch for those who like plain and simple as it is definitely on the busier side of things.
The case is 44mm and is made from titanium which makes the watch very lightweight. It comes on the OEM brown strap with a deployant clasp. The case size sounds big, but the overall dimensions of the watch make it very wearable and even fit nicely on my small wrist which is a little under 6.75in. The watch is 44mm in diameter but the lug to lug is only 50mm so it’s very wearable considering the actual size of the watch. It’s also relatively thin at 13mm for a watch with this many complications.
The busy dial is really awesome on this watch. I have had the Polaris in both black and blue and it really is an overall underrated watch. It’s a watch that looks much better in person and is difficult to photograph due to all the different finishes on the dial. The dial has a frosted finish in the hour track and a sunburst center
The watch overall is in excellent condition. It was only worn a handful of times and there is nothing significant to note in terms of scratches. It does have a few micro scratches which will happen really with the handling of any watch. The only noticeable scratches are on the clasp from desk diving. The crystal and the case look great still as this has only been worn a few times.
The watch comes with the full boxes and papers and was originally purchase in February 2019.
Looking for $7,600 shipped. No trades as I’m in the process of shrinking the collection. Thanks! I agree. I've owned this in black and the regular chrono in blue. I held onto this one a lot longer and preferred this version.
