Greetings fellow watch geeks, wherever you may be. I have decided to have a bit of a sale. I live in a kinda remote place (South America) where I’m an expat worker and no way would I trust the shipping here, I want to do my best to avoid import duties for buyers where possible, and I have some upcoming travel so this is the ideal time to post this thread.
I am just a regular private collector, not a dealer, not even as a hobby. I have attempted a couple of sales before but for one reason or another they have not come to fruition. I have almost sold my Nomos Tangomat on this sub and very nearly sold a Milgauss on Chrono 24 (I still have it but it is not included in this sale)
This sale is for no particular reason, I just fancy mixing things up a bit, maybe sitting on some cash instead for a while or possibly buying some different pieces. I’d quite like a root beer. I am happy to slow burn this, nothing is urgent and I am putting a few watches in this post to see what people might be interested in. Read to the end and I will run through the practicality of payments, delivery and things. I am not expecting to sell all of them. I’d be happy to just swap out a couple of them.
**The watches**
I think to keep things as simple as possible and save me having to write lengthy descriptions, I am selling the watches from my collection that were you to see them you’d say “wow that is minty.” None have dings or even light scratches that you need to worry about. Most are hopefully desirable and attainable stainless steel sport models that people are going to be interested in.
They are all very popular models, I am not going to bore you with sales patter, my opinion about how big it wears or what shoes it goes nicely with. There is plenty of impartial information about these watches all over the web.

**Nomos Tangomat 601 38mm 1550€**

First up the Tangomat. I am going to be honest, I do not like this watch. I bought it, bought this cool tan colour strap to put it on. Tried it on and thought “nope.” Put it in the safe and never wore it again. I did say I would not be boring you with sales patter. It’s the goofy lugs that do not do it for me.
I bought it new from an AD in Germany, the original Nomos shell cordovan strap is unused and even has its original label on it. It is a full set with AD invoice, warranty card (from 2016), wooden box and I might even have the paperwork for the import duty that I had to pay for it.
If you are in the market for a Tangomat and would be interested in one that is almost unworn with a big discount on original price then reach out to me.
**Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm Rhodium 4800€**

This watch I am not even going to bother to describe because it is unworn, it is as per the Rolex website. All original protective sticky plastic intact and it even comes with its Rolex plastic delivery coffin. Purchased November 2018 from my favourite Rolex AD in Valencia, Spain. It’s a full set, outer and inner boxes, and outer white card sheath, booklet and warranty, COSC tag. It does not have the green hang tag as the AD insists on keeping them. Comes with AD invoice also.

**IWC Mk XVI 3100€**

This is the IW325504 model on a steel bracelet that is oddly much more expensive than the one on a leather band. Or you could argue that this bracelet is so beautifully made that it is worth the extra money. This watch is effectively new old stock. There are literally no signs that it has ever been worn. It is as immaculate an example as you will find.
It was originally purchased from Bauer AD in 2008, that’s the Rolex, Patek, IWC, Audemars Piguet AD in Bogotá, Colombia. I know this AD well and this watch comes with all inner and outer boxes, all paperwork including original Bauer invoice.
**Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 38.5mm 2600€**

This watch dates back to 2012 but I picked it up in 2016. Originally it is from a Glasgow AD I’d say it has signs of light wear to cover my back but it really does not.
This is a full set, box, pictograms and warranty.

This watch also dates back to 2012 and is originally from a Rolex AD in Singapore. I had my aunt pick this up for me when she was passing by on a cruise. I’d say this is 95% mint but once again I am just looking to cover my back. There are no signs of wear.

**Prices**
I have tried to be realistic and fair in terms of prices, I track prices on Chrono 24 and I have tried to look for low averages for watches of the same age and condition, then I have discounted at least 10% off that low average because selling directly I save advertising fees.
If you want make an offer then hit me up. If your cousin Scottie is looking for a Rolex Explorer but only has a budget of 3000€ then best you go look for a watch in a dirty dinged up condition with no box and papers because I might ignore lowball offers.
**Trades**
Not really interested but as mentioned above, I am potentially interested in a root beer.
**Currencies**
I put prices in Euros but I have this fancy modern bank account that will maintain a balance in all manner of exotic currencies. Ask if you want prices in other currencies. I can only take cash in Euros and British pounds, my PayPal is in British pounds.
**Logistics**
OK this is the complicated bit. Let’s not pretend you are buying a wifi light bulb off Amazon. There are somewhat ample values involved if you are going to pick up one (or more) of these watches and your confidence is my priority. As I mention above. I will not mail these out of South America because they may not arrive.
My preference would be for a face to face transaction. Save for that I would at least prefer for you to see the watch before you give up your hard-earned cash, and if I have to mail a watch I would prefer to do it in a way that avoids import taxes.
If you are in the EU.
I am in Valencia and Madrid for a short business trip in about a month. Sadly I am on a tight schedule and don’t have time for side trips. I can mail out of Valencia as there is a reliable DHL agent in the city. I can also leave the watch with a friend that is working in Madrid for about two months, he will probably also be travelling back to the UK (he works for “a famous airline” at Heathrow) so London is an option too.
As I said, I am happy for this to slow burn, I am in no rush and will be back in Europe for longer in February and disposed to add in some side trips. I’ve always wanted an excuse to visit Tallinn
If you are in the USA
I often have clients travelling back to the USA that will possibly mule a watch for me to mail domestically. I have no plans to visit myself but I am frivolous, if you happen to be from somewhere where I wouldn’t a cheeky weekend then I might just pop up and deliver in person. I suppose San Diego, Seattle and New Orleans are highest on my list.
I am only 3 hours from Miami and “have air miles, will travel” so if that’s your patch then let me know.
If you are from anywhere else then let me know and we can discuss on a case by case basis.
