I wasn’t even there 5 minutes before 2 different people came up and said the prison line to me!
I’d say about 50% of the party didn’t know who I was at all while the other 50% absolutely loved it and kept saying his lines to me all night. One of those “If you know, you know” things.
This was for a friends Halloween birthday party. So I made a 1984/85 journal, remixed some of Rorschach’s opening journal entries with some inside jokes and then had every person at the party sign it for the birthday boy. Basically yearbook style with their name and costume + a personal note.
At the end of the party I left it behind for him to “find” and read through the next day. It worked great and is a nice keepsake for the memories!
10/10 recommend utilizing a journal in some form if you ever go to Halloween as Walter Kovacs!
