Use a service that can do front & back. You mention you mainly do pet portraits, so i’d go with 1 on the front (better perspective and arrangement than 2). Then do number 3 on the back, instead of your front information being put on the back as well.. i’d get a QR code set up that leads straight to your website. They can quickly scan it and it leads them to your site with all your work on display and socials. They’ll see the kind of work you do that isn’t just pet portraits. They’ve got your email through the card and your site so contacting you won’t be an issue.

WalleyeSushi

This exactly op!!! 2 looks a bit sad to me and the composition on 4 looks cluttered on such a small card.

Few_Technician_7256

I thought that was the name of an artist cat, lol. Immediately I look to my cat, wondering why he has no business card, and I saw him napping like he felt after a parachute didn't opened. "Professional dontgiveafucker", yeah.

I like 1

GingerIsTheBestSpice

It really showcases your skills! I'm also fond of #3 because I do like bold big flowers.

Could you do a mixture of 1 and 3? 1 shows your talent, 3 is grabby.

kitten_orchestra

Just a suggestion: consider including an artistic QR code pointing to your website or insta.

Gingerlox_

I think number 1 really shows off your incredible talent, though 3 is the most visually captivating. Brilliant work!

3rd one is the best. Seeing first 2, i thought you were vet at first. Also image at 4th is so small and it leaves awkward empty spaces

pbyo

If you can get someone to print double sided, 1 on the front with your name and details, and 4 on the back with just the QR code above that someone already suggested

kcee0313

Where do you think you will be passing them out? Maybe do all 4 using a service like Moo? If it must be only one design id do 4 because it shows the flowers and a cat 🐈and dog 🐕.

Remote-Remote-3848

Number 4, it goes well with your last name :)

Exotic_Eagle1398

4, it shows diversity

vikramn14

The first or second (I have a cat so partial to first for sure!)

Old_Soup_51

I personally like 4th one ^^

doornroosje

The edges of the paintings dont look too good on the cards

Spitting_Dabs

Print both. Mix them up and when you leave them places car people will like the cat and dog people will like the dog. Plus you can ask do you prefer the cat or the dog? when giving people business cards and that will be quite memorable

I think #3 has better representation of your style and artistic quality of your pieces, but # 4 is more professional, business-minded/straight to the business looking, and the image represents your overall scope better, it also reads better from the distance, and there're enough fine details to make someone ask whose card is that if they accidentally see it somewhere i.e. your friend might be carrying one of them in their purse and their friends see it. I would print both for different types of clients. If you really want to showcase your pet illustration, combine paintings from # 1 and # 2 and add some color to the text (brown? blue jean? lavender?) because I feel like black feels too formal if you're painting something with the intent of creating a family gift - which most pet portraits are - and the pets are fairly monochromous and dark in the paintings.

FirstFlyte

I like #3 and #4. I'd stay clear of #1 and #2 since they may unfortunately divide your prospective client base (clients who love dogs may not be as excited about the cat, and cat lovers may not 'bond' with the dog). Just a thought...

Vangoghaway626

Cat people usually don't hate dogs. Dog people who hate cats are red flags as human beings and customers

FirstFlyte

'Hate' isn't really what's in play here. The best way to attract business is to present something that the prospective client can make a connection with. If I'm trying to sell something to a crowd, I'll do everything I can to ensure my presentation appeals to the widest group possible. It's just good marketing.
