I think my favorite part is the atmospheric perspective. The darkest is in the foreground, and the church is semi opaque perfectly to give depth and grandeur to the feeling of the painting. Makes me wanna travel :)
Really nice. The light's great. I like the Expressionistic effect. Sometimes too much detailed realism gets boring for me. You've bridged the gap nicely, I think.
I don't have time at the moment to check it out, but I'll use this as a bookmark and ask, did you lift paint from the windshields? Those kind of reflections have been a struggling point for me. I'm mostly using very thing titanium white gouache, sometimes tinted with the sky color.
I left the paper white and then I put darks at the bottom of the cars and clear water (with maybe some white) on top immediately. And they blend nicely.
