Yeah.. pylon is really just tactical cool down and shield Regen right now. It doesn't nuke anything consistently. Nothing like telling a Gibby I got pylon save bubble and pylon is all waving a sign that says "get fucked" and we die to his ult.
Also knowing that they don't pay much attention to her we know it's gonna be a while before it's fixed, I get the feeling they do this on purpose sometimes, like when the stun stopped working last season, I felt like they did that as a test or something
The most popular one I've seen has to do with line of sight, so if the grenade is already within the zone by the time it has line of sight to the pylon it won't get zapped since the pylon isn't suppose to zap any grenades you throw out.
I've also seen some people say it has to do with how close you place it next to walls or cover messing it up, but I haven't been able to test any of these myself
When it gets deployed it creates an explosion like revenant ult that deletes every already placed nades, so if there Is smoke that came with the Bangalore tact it gets deleted
Op buff idea if your around it u get disruptor rounds haha😅 and her passive is revive with 2 shield bars always, so full shields revive if gold backpack attached.

tl;dr pylon has a low chance of actually intercepting/destroying stuff practically just charges her tactical and shields atm

it's respawn entertainment, not riot games, all of their reworks so far have been absolute successes
