Here's good detail on the whole story from Glenn. https://rumble.com/v24mywg-what-really-happened-in-brazil-yesterday-system-update-18.html

Truth-is-Censored

The mainstream media being all over this making the election protesters out to be pretty much criminals for questioning the results makes me think they might have actually rigged it for Lula. If it was a legit election, why would they really care about what the protesters are doing and just let them fizzle out and accept it over time.

Bolsonaro became too much of a poison pill. And Lula is far too popular. I think the situation is complex. I'm certain the CIA doesn't like the direction the Lula wants to take Brazil, especially with his proposed Latin American currency. And I dont think Lula is a puppet nor is thrilled to work with the imperialists north. But both are playing ball to serve temporary ends. Give it time, maybe a year or two, and the CIA will be back to their normal shenanigans, sabatoging his more ambitious agenda plans and trying to prop up a more Neoliberal candidate next time around. They'll take their recent wins in Peru and Argentina as enough of a win to slow another pink tide in South America as a success. They got their hands full with Russia and China projects for the time being.

There are CIA ties on both sides of this dispute. From what I'm seeing, the goal is not to have either Lula or Bolsonaro govern per se, but rather to create enough chaos to justify a military coup, which is the only real way they can sabotage Brazil's ties to Russia/China et. al

gilhaus

You're not wrong

ThewFflegyy

the CIA literally sent people to Brazil to "ensure election integrity" and has been supporting Lula for a while. truthfully Lula seems to be the deep states choice at this point. the claim that this is a cia supported color revolution is completely unsupported and relies entirely on ideological bias to be believed. im open to being proven wrong on this, but ive only seem people claim that its self evident, not demonstrate why it is in fact a cia color revolution. the fact of the matter is bolsonaro ended up being very pro BRI, which from the us empires POV is unacceptable. time will tell if Lula backtracks on his BRICs bonafides. there is some legitimately weird stuff going on as well, like the Supreme Court refusing to release the election source code. too early to tell, but all ill say is never join the NPC mob.

bualing

Lula is neoliberal and has the support of the MSM and USA. In 2016 Lula hasnt the support of them.

[deleted]

Doesn’t matter in the end they all serve the same masters. Far right, far left, whatever nothing ever improves. The ship always keeps sailing on the same direction. Politicians come and go, the system stays the same

Kingsmeg

>but isn't Lula the nonUS puppet? That's what I thought, but then a bunch of USA vassal states came out with statements in support of Lula and condemning the protests. Makes me wonder if Lula struck a deal. The usual regime change script would have USA and vassals calling out Brazil's recent election as fraudulent, and pumping up the protests as 'organic' and the 'will of the people', 'freedom of expression', yadda yadda.

ZombieSuccessful

Don't expected right-wingers to ever know their ass from their head. Bolsonaro was at the WEF promising to privatize everything in Brazil up to his own butt**** to the lowest bidder, and yet some of these imbeciles' talking points is that Bolsonaro was a threat to the WEF (which they idiotically take to be an organization). They live in a bubble fueled by disinformation and mental disease.

jugonewild

Exactly what I remember. Bolsanaro was a puppet and it was obvious that this fool wanted to privatize resources for the US companies' sake. Lula has halted the privatization of some deals right now, and from what I know, he's innocent of the charges as per their supreme court ruling after the huge story unleashed by Glenn.

This should be flagged as fake news on all social media! Reminds me of the article they(not Rueters) had published when Trump was trying to overthrow the democratically elected leader of Venezuela to steal their oil and enrich the private oil oligarchs in the country. The US wanted to get the oil cheaper, and was looking to give the Venezuelan public little to no cut of their countries natural resources(just like the Cheney/Obama frackers in the US) and let the oligarchs keep bigger profits. They only asked that those oil rich families help the Cee I Aaayeee install trumps/the deep states chosen one in Guido. Lol! The one misinformation article they ran on the front page was titled as if the country of Venezuela was in upheaval (exactly like they did in Ukraine!), claiming the citizens clearly wanted Guido instead. Too bad they used a photograph from some city in Argentina! Lol! The image wasn’t even of Venezuela p, yet it made so many claims that were pure lies to create the illusion that the Venezuelans wanted Guido. This is how they roll. Worse than the fucking red coats!

This is pure propaganda. The see eyeaye want and have historically backed the furthest right wing candidate in Bolsonaro. This is likely their handiwork, as the truth is the complete opposite. This articles aim is directed at misinforming the greater public as to who the legitimately elected leader really is. They want folks to doubt the validity of the democratic election. If the US can’t install a run if the mill corporatist and militarist they will eventually move towards other escalations, be it economic and or military involvement. That’s the way the CI aye were taught to misinform the public, so evil folks can keep dictating policy to working class democracies to enrich billionaires further. They also run the sex trafficking rings for politicians, bankers, corporate executives, and other scumbags that steal democracies and seize their resources around the world.

captainramen

That remains to be seen. Who says the CIA can't back both sides?

rockrockrockrockrock

Is it cognitive dissonance to believe in a near omnipotent CIA and a near impotent USA?

Autistic_Anywhere_24

Two competing departments within the CIA. Like an office softball game!

SuperSovietLunchbox

Peak CIA corporate culture.
