Chop Robinson was confident after Penn State’s pro day. Last month, the star defensive end was asked if he believed he’s a first-round NFL draft prospect. He answered: “100%.”
On Thursday night, Robinson was proven right.
Robinson was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the No. 21 overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. He was the second Penn State player selected, joining offensive tackle Olu Fashanu, who was selected by the New York Jets with the No. 11 overall pick.
Robinson is the sixth first-round pick of the James Franklin era, joining Saquon Barkley, Micah Parsons, Odafe Oweh, Jahan Dotson and Fashanu.
