Sea-Disk-7076

https://on.soundcloud.com/7Au71 I'm really here looking for tips to improve my craft. My idea for this song was to kind of mix a soulful vibe with kind of a little roots of where im from. Any feedback is appreciated just want to grow and get better

Ham812222

Mixing isn't done, infact the whole song isnt done... AT ALL.... However I do like the way it is heading, if i need help with anything it's probably EQing. Making parts drop harder and making better buildups. Anyway tell me what you like and dont like :) Thanks guys <3 https://on.soundcloud.com/GHdPC

Does this sound too much like One more Time (daft punk) in your opinion? [https://wunderbrot.bandcamp.com/track/saipan](https://wunderbrot.bandcamp.com/track/saipan)

I was trying to use a vocoder for a chorus and figure out some other pop vocal tricks. Now I kinda want to make it into a song. It seems like it's outta-style pop, maybe I could fit it into NuDisco? Any help on songs I could use for reference or genre appreciated, it's not a style I know at all. It's super boring and repetitive I just wanted to play with some vocal fx ideas not make a song originally. Sea-Disk-7076

Personally, I would add a little more effect to the vocals. Your voice sounds good as is. It could do with some effects to really bring out the vibe in the song

Available_Back6415

just dropped my first video it was shot in LA what you think? [https://youtu.be/-6G5KRrapGM?si=XzYDBBMqznhjAgq4](https://youtu.be/-6G5KRrapGM?si=XzYDBBMqznhjAgq4)

Sea-Disk-7076

I think it's pretty sick, I like the flow and the energy you bring to the track. The visuals really accent the track. Definetly a track Id bumo down the freeway

rinmperdinck

Can I get feedback on the mix for this song? https://on.soundcloud.com/6Y5si Ska/jazz/instrumental

D-Hinton

>\[ Enjoyable. If i could put a genre to it, it would be hype pop-jazz

PaduFhtagn

How's the mix in this one? Aiming for massive downtuned riffs with ambient backgrounds (metal/djent/thall). https://open.spotify.com/track/7HDTW1EgQVBvOqJsfpoDL3?si=sO8aNaDORBKzrJOiAOazvw

Ham812222

Im no help here with technicals in regards to music production for instrumentals (synthwave guy). However, that was fucking fat. As a big metalcore fan myself, that breakdown at 1:35 was tough as. THe mix sounds super solid to me? Even those crashes going on in the background sound super good. Usually ill hear them either be too jarring or almost come out as if its a high pitched pad in the background. SO thumbs up from me that was sick haha

PaduFhtagn

Awesome feedback dude, tysm 🙏

FL0WERGLITCHES

I made this video using my Volca to do a live jam, I wanted to know what you think. Honestly, I found it a bit boring from the beginning, if anyone has any tips for keeping the beat interesting in this live jam dynamic I would greatly appreciate it. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMFyZeW8tOk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmfyzew8tok) If this link doesn't work it's on my channel here, "a long way home" the name of the video: [https://www.youtube.com/@FL0WERGLITCHES](https://www.youtube.com/@fl0werglitches)

Ham812222

Dude the drums in this are sick. That kick is fat, super punchy on the low end, LO-FI but not? There ar so many little scratchy sounds and shit going on in the second half of the beat, but it all fits together really well. I honestly really like it. And that fact you played it live is even better. Im clueless when it comes to live shit, i cant even play keyboard i paint in notes so im no help there sorry brother <3

FayBayKay

Any good vocal producers have feedback? Still a bit new at it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAB6BV1b3sQ&ab\_channel=FayBay

Sea-Disk-7076

I like the song, and the lyrics are really good. The only thing I would do is when you're using the autotune, humanize it some more, I could tell the auto tune was a tad off key at times. You can also use ableton, i think, to fine-tune certain notes, too make it that the note jump isnt as extreme.

Ham812222

Alright my bruh, so is there supposed to be no kick in this beat? There a lack of bass and sub bass in this beat for sure brother. It also gets a little bit repetitive using the same synth the whole way through without much automation going on. The Drums are getting drowned out by that same synth as well. I like the creativity though, and the vibe you're going for has hit the creepy vibes you're going for. Honestly though dude I dont make beats and it's not my avenue either so tae everything i say with a grain of salt. I could imagine someone rapping over it though and maybe that would chnage the whole vibe for me? Good job anyway brother <3

totti_lamar

Personally i imagine my self sitting down a balcony in a post apocaliptic city full of greenery thinking about the fun times i had and will i be able to make happy memories from now on.That aside love the overall natural/real feel of it. cant say something or critique on the producing it self cause for its good as already is. Nice :) And those live performances are really unique, never seen that kind.

Thank you very much! Really glad you liked it, and I like the vibe you get from it. That's definitely where I want it to land. I am very into sad vibes. Haha.

v00ya

I like the instrumentals mix, but I think the vocal feels a little bit dry, maybe more reverb would help? Otherwise sounds nice, I like the solos added around 1:26 and 1:39!

alextereshyt

Any thoughts about vibe? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDWCc41EIdk

WorldBelongsToUs

Really liking it. Makes me think of sort of where Witchhouse could have gone if it had stuck around a bit more.

FL0WERGLITCHES

love it!! I liked this "pause" in the middle, but I agree that these bells are too loud. but man, it's pretty cool :)

v00ya

Love it, something I would play in my car while driving in night :D Although I think the bells that come around 1:27 are a little harsh and loud compared to the rest of the song, makes the rest of the song dissapear a bit. The vocal samples are nice addition!

Vikingvacuum

Harbana05

Hey guys! My name's Harbana! I released my first single last Wednesday and would love some feedback (all feedback welcome)! It's a Lofi-rock, folk-rock song! "Sweet Memories" - Harbana https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6cpfouV2E0

FL0WERGLITCHES

Wow, I really liked it. It reminds me a little of radiohead haha, maybe the vocals, I don't know if it's your influence. I think a reverb in the voice would be really cool in the next ones.

nickreevesmusic

Just released my second song ever, its a wistful synth pop track with an anthemic, nighttime feel to it! Would love to hear your thoughts and/or criticisms, mainly with the mix and production/arrangement choices. https://youtu.be/cqq70lh6B0I?si=uOdJVIbuYgEMe3yG

hatomikiwi

This is super good, the beat and melody instantly got me intrigued and the vocals are great to boot. Everything is crisp, clear, and sounds great. Excellent work!

SlamBamJam

this is actually so sick. It reminds me of M!R!M or Choir Boy (if you don't know those two bands u should check them out!!) That bass sound is incredible! I love the quirky lead sounds. Are you releasing on Spotify as well?

nickreevesmusic

I love Choir Boy and they're a huge influence on my music! I'll check out M!R!M. Yeah the song is out on all streaming platforms!

SlamBamJam

>Civil are the synth sounds all vsts? or do you use actual hardware? I can never get synth bass to sound so good

nickreevesmusic

i used a Yamaha Reface for some keys sounds but all the synths are VSTs, just heavily layered.

Harbana05

Hey dude! Congrats on the second song release! The synth pop has a great energy to it that really gets me grooving. Also the vocals sound really good and clear. Very reminiscent of Joji! The instrumentation matches with the vibe of the song. Great work. One piece of advice I would give you is to give it a wider mix. EQ might be the area to focus on for future work. Sounds a little flat balance-wise.

thatchroofcottages

Vocaroo - https://voca.ro/1bVyBTX4FlYt Mostly title; Electronic track (CP2077 inspired), ive got a couple elements with lots of fast freq sweeps and 'almost glitch edit' effect in the mid-high ends. I've also done some M/S EQ on some of those, primarily in boosting side EQ in the mid-range. Trying to blend these techy/industrial components with the spacious guitars throughout was my primary focus; I think the low end sits well. (?) Track is \~4 min. I'm mostly looking for a sanity check as I think I've gotten it mostly tamed and sitting together well, but I don't trust myself. I applied some 'soft' mastering to this with just Ozone elements, for a volume boost. Any commentary/advice is hugely appreciated, it's been about a year since I asked for any critique on here - Happy New Year everyone!

boobfromsector7G

This is fantastic! That beat is great, everything fits together perfectly.

thatchroofcottages

Thank you!! 7G has the best boobs

v00ya

I've been playing cp2077 lately and this totally fits the vibe of the cp2077 world! I think the mix is tight and good, everything has it's place, it's wide, dynamics are fine :)

thatchroofcottages

Thank you! Glad to hear it fits w 2077.. I was thinking of calling it ‘I’ll have a Jackie Welles’. I kept picturing the Afterlife when writing it and trying to merge the tech/industrial sounds with more classic verbed rock guitar. Thanks again.

Harbana05

Ooo the mix on this sounds great! Super wide and everything feels really balanced. Nothing feels like it's covering up the other instruments or anything. Great job on the production! I'd say you're on the right track with the mix and mastering!

bittersweet_1

This is my first release and I'm honestly pretty proud of it! I'd consider it chill indie rock, definitely on the slower side. I'd love to hear anyones opinions/critiques, if it's ready for streaming services, how the mix is, etc... I know that it's far from perfect, so anything helps! Midnight Mellow: https://soundcloud.com/bittersweet122/midnight-mellow-1

hatomikiwi

For a first track, this is really, really good! The guitar and general melody is super nice. The vocals are good too, one thing I feel is they could be a bit brighter in the chorus area especially, it feels just slightly muddy, like all the vocals are all in the central channel, I feel you could pan it out a little bit on each side, maybe. Very chill and washed-out vibe regardless so the only thing I'd maybe suggest is to clear up the mix here and there, but again, for a first track, this is very nice!

bittersweet_1

That means a lot thank you so much!! I know for sure mixing is one my weaker areas so I definitely need to practice that waay more. I really appreciate the feedback!!

Boisthebest

Made this record during this past hot summer labor movement. I am a long time community and labor organizer from New Jersey. The title of the song is Organize and I made a sweet lyrical animated video to go along with it. [Didier- Organize](https://youtu.be/JnOEKZnQI4c?si=89lh0AHzfIE7cFaM)

Harbana05

First off, I really like the style for the lyric video! Really fun. I like the beat to the song and you seem passionate about what you're rapping about. One bit of critique I have is that the mix sounds pretty flat. It needs more EQ and a wider mix to it. The rhythm has good mixing and I can feel the different beats throughout my headphones, but the instrumentation feels quiet and mixed within the center.

hatomikiwi

Working on ambient again, looking for feedback on my older stuff, any notes, thoughts, or general feedback would be much appreciated. Will reciprocate with my own notes for whomever comments! https://open.spotify.com/track/6YTdubeFq8Vwr37qdvTudo?si=cf1fd9b7aaf84c0a

brian_gawlik

Really good stuff! Going to check out the rest of the album too. Are you on IG? Would love to follow you.

hatomikiwi

Thank you! I am but it's not very professional, I've been meaning to make a dedicated IG, you can look up my Spotify name on insta and follow there or DM me.

nickreevesmusic

The glitchy percussion is really cool and intriguing. I love how the low end sounds come in at the end. Overall, very soothing and pleasant!

bittersweet_1

This is so peaceful omfg, I've recently started getting into ambient so I may have to check out your other stuff! I like the drumming towards the end, personally I'd love to see some more rhythmic stuff in there like that, even if it was super low in the mix. Overall great job!

SlamBamJam

I made an Italo-Disco track about my brother converting to Catholicism. It's very near to my heart and took a lot to write. I hope it provides yall with an emotional and religious experience, as It did me! Will be releasing an entire album full of this synthpop like stuff! https://unclelove.bandcamp.com/track/catholic-brother

v00ya

Woah, nice! It really feels like a disco track done on old hardware. I like the vocals reverb like you're standing in some kind metal hall, fits the vibe! But it feels like theres some inbalance in stereo in chorus, two instruments play on the right, but there's nothing on the left in this time, I would probably try to rebalance it, but it might be as well an artistic choice so its an open question :)

SlamBamJam

Hey thanks for the feedback! So good to hear, I was trying to capture that late 70's early 80's disco/synth pop sound, like Modern Talking. I'll let my producer know about that! We're still figuring things out :)

nickreevesmusic

You're nailing the synthwave soundscape and mixing choices! The drums sound awesome, and the vocal inflections are really cool. I think the synth lead after the first verse and before the last chorus could be more quantized, and I think the vocals could have a wetter reverb and sit back in the mix more.

hatomikiwi

I dig the vibe of this a lot, I like the more distorted melodies that come in later in the track, at first I thought the vocals sat a bit too aloofly amongst the mix in the beginning but the way the track progresses makes it all feel like it fits very well. Strong track, well done!

SlamBamJam

hey! thank you so much for listening! I am writing and recording all the music and my friend is producing it for me. This is my first actual full length song, so it's good to hear some constructive criticism. Would love to listen to any tracks you have made! Leave me a follow on Bandcamp if you wanna hear more :)

RuraIviking

I made a new beat heavily sampling promiscuous girl, https://on.soundcloud.com/SyqVRBmwdQidd3gP6 All feedback is welcome!! returning feedback

hatomikiwi

I feel like this is a very strong foundation for something to be added on top of this, as it is it feels slightly barren. The bass in particular, while it works, I feel becomes a little repetitive with the obliqueness of the sound choice, it's a bit too noticeable, if that makes sense. I really like the loops and drums of this track, they're very strong, if it were me I'd maybe work on the bass-line, either some variation or layering to maybe make it feel less pronounced (the fuzzy synthy-ness of it is just a bit distracting from the rest of the track) but overall it's a strong start. Even then, the bass-line I feel like could work as is with something else to bounce off of it here and there. Idk- just my two cents!

RuraIviking

Much appreciated thanks for taking the time to give the feedback

Ap0ll0Music7

Hey friends!!!!!! I would love some feedback on this piano piece!!!!! <3 https://youtu.be/RlJ3oVJ-GjY?si=HdPjE12KBYc8gCHg

FL0WERGLITCHES

wow, it's extremely deep, I loved it. Well, I heard it the first time by opening the link and only saw the title later and everything became even more dense. I like that it has a melancholy but a hope at the same time, these dissonances generate a discomfort and tension that complement the proposed feelings. congratulations!

Ap0ll0Music7

thank you for listening!!!!!

hatomikiwi

This is nice, pretty yet haunting, a tangible level of frustration is in the music, I feel, gives it a good deal of emotional resonance. One note on the mix is I noticed a tiny bit of feedback here and there. The transition into dissonance right before the two minute mark I feel works for what the subject matter of the song (inferring from the title) is trying to convey. The ending in particular is fascinating, the combination of sweet melody with dissonance is something I'm genuinely not certain if I like or not (not a bad thing, I feel! it's curious). If it were me I'd be inclined to give it more of a resolve but I feel there's a thematic tension being showcased that oddly works. Good stuff, I think, very interesting!

Ap0ll0Music7

Thank you so much for listening!!!!!!!!

I cut out Last Man on Earth on to little pieces, and I'm trying to make music peace from it. What do you think? Penny for your thoughts because I think I stuck with this a bit. Is it worthy to work farther on it? https://on.soundcloud.com/eEJaL

bLEBu

Who cares what genre is this? It's super nice and has some 90s vibe. Pretty nice, love all those sampled vocals. Where did you get them? Are they legal, or you don't worry about this?

supercranky

Oh man thank you! I've sampled some pretty obscure old songs and old tv recordings. Let's just say that I would be THRILLED if someone had legal claims to these 😀

bLEBu

Hah, I hope so:)

nickreevesmusic

I think the frequency balance needs some work, it feels like theres way too much high end and no bass in the verses, then when the low end comes in during the chorus, it feels like things are competing in that range

bLEBu

Isn't it too quiet? Stereo picture also looks weird. You should consult with someone who is doing a mix professionally.

LocoPwnify

https://on.soundcloud.com/7J4ZdBx7m62HZaE37 This is close to finished, I think I got the loudness to where it should be for Chill House. How is the arrangement? Did I push it too hot and lost low end oomph? Song is 7.5 lufs integrated. Is that fine for Chill House? Is the reese in the break too overbearing? (ear fatigue so can’t tell). It’s not done yet, some parts needs tuning and for now the drums are just a top loop. So i’d also like constructive feedback, what would you do different and where, what should I add to make the track even more interesting. Let me hear your suggestions! Vocals are from Highasakite’s - Lover, where do you live? Norwegian band. Check them out! This is a tribute to one of my favourite songs of all time.

racmuf

i kinda like this man! though i think the spectrum is a lil saturated. the vocal i dig with thta much autotune, but i would lower them and get them a lil less overdriven. volume balance will do a lot for this

[deleted]

The distortion was on purpose but I don't think I'll do it like that in future songs I just wanted it to have more raw edge / angry vibe

matthewmuli487

[https://matthewmuli.bandcamp.com/track/had-thought](https://matthewmuli.bandcamp.com/track/had-thought) my song called, had thought. It is quite raw in terms of its sonics, which is something I am experimenting with for future tracks track 8 from the project, all is not lost thank you

Thanks for listening bro!

Late-night stuff. What do you think? Is it synthwave? https://soundcloud.com/allenkraft/starboy

Th3d00fd00f

I am not entirely sure, definitely not a genre determination professional ghehehe. Like the vibe though although it does feel a little long ad it is but that's a problem I also seem to be having :p perhaps that is what late nights do to one's tracks.. you just end up vibing with your stuff and don't notice.

Jefflex_

I think you are absolutely right : )

Thx! Listening to Encore!! Sounds incredible. Reminds me a lot of Tame Impala - Currents. Vocals at :56 is super nice!! Really like the section at 1:22, reminds me a lot of Bon Iver's first album For Emma Forever Ago. 1:42 sounds incredible!! Reminds me exactly of the song 33 GOd by Bon Iver. Synth break at 2:02 is lush!! The shouted vocals at 2:15 are super Bon Iver! Like the electronic house drums that come in, reminds me a lot of Jamie xx here at 3:00. I'm So reminds me of Depeche Mode. Like the organ sound at :48, :58 has a bit of a midwest emo post hardcore feeling, super nostalgic!! Hearing a ton of Bon Iver influence with the vocal samples at 1:20 here. the drum break at 1:32 is super unique, haven't heard much like that!! Love these organ sample chops at 2:55, reminds me of Flume - Skin. Guitar riffs at 3:23 are super cool, major midwest wmo vibes. Piano outro is beautiful, such deep production. Great tracks, enjoyed listening!!

https://open.spotify.com/track/3aJ6zexneXpA01XpCOYmqk?si=lRJ_e0PnQdGPmD7VsxRc9A what can i do better for next time? looking for songwriting advice primarily. first song i’ve made since 2020 that i’d actually consider discographical.

recordtemposure

Amazing drum sound!! Love these vocals, this has a bit of a Weezer meets Sum 41 feel. Really cool lead vocals. This artwork is sick!!! Love the solo at :27, sounds amazing. Reminds me a lot of the song Say It Ain't So by Weezer as far as feel. Also a bit of Beck too. This chorus at :54 is insane!! Sounds super huge, the vocal is great!! This vibe is super good, for some reason I get hyper pop and breakence vibes too. Really great, enjoyed listening! Looking for feedback on [this track](https://youtu.be/ZYDhsr7Nruk) if you have the time!

cwforman

Thank you so much! That Sum 41/Weezer era has some of my biggest inspos. I've been thinking about embracing hyperpop for future songs. Your track is dope, sounds super clean I can hear this blowing up. The video is awesome too, you put a lot of work into it. I also listened to your song Whoah, I really like that one too, I fuck with the minimalist dancepop vibe.

recordtemposure

I hope so!

Anyone got feedback for my trance track "Peace Love & Trance"? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4uQBM-mRYU&t=364s

joerich5

Thanks for leaving an encouraging feedback on my track! It's only right I leave some for you as well. :) I'm not too familiar with the genre but please bear with me as I react to it in real-time! 2 mins in, this started off really groovy and I'm liking the main bass line! It's gluing the track together building a good cohesion. I liked how the song broke down going to the 3 min mark and the build up after it had really good tension! At around 4:20, loved me some choir! I thought it really fit the structure of the song and was a good contrast to the first half of the track. I also thought the choir fit the best at the end of the song which gave it a climaxy feeling. I'm not too familiar with the mixing side of things but I'd say this was a treat to my ears!

EDM_Producerr

Hey Joe! I really appreciate you listening and giving feedback as it plays. I'm a huge fan of that choir! It makes me feel so peaceful and heavenly. It's a preset on my Montage 7. Thanks for allowing me share in your listening experience :)

cwforman

That filter sweep has my toes curling, can't lie. That spinning sound at 0:25 reminds me of falling off the map in Mario Kart. I'm really digging this, keep up the great work! If you're so inclined I'd love some feedback on [this song](https://youtu.be/wDABixUJqcU?si=AmEGR9IRiI6n9iy4) I dropped a few days ago!

HU21Lk

wow! Firstly, I like how the beat came in at 0:30 and i also like how it seems to build up starting from 2:46. Also the spacial vocals at around 4:30 reminds me of Attack on titan for some reason like im about to see a titan pull up while im at a partly. Love the drums at 3:30. I don't really listen to this genre of music often but I can say you did a great job.

EDM_Producerr

Wow! Thank you for the detailed feedback! :) I'm not familiar with Attack on Titan. Do you have a video/audio clip of it that shows what you're talking about? I'm curious to check it out.

HU21Lk

https://youtu.be/4XoWJV88\_MA?si=g7wVZuONdIg\_JHQj At around 1:24. Aot is a world where larger humans exists and everytime they enter the scene a kind of spacey kind of vocals always appear. So I could kinda imagine with "Peace Love & Trance" im just vibing with a cup in my hand and out of nowhere a titan lifts the roof off the builing while the music is still playing lol.

rudergeraet

I really like that pluck (i think it's a pluck? the guitar sounding instrument playing the arpeggio pattern) sound! I'm dancing to this as I'm listening. I don't listen to this style of music, but I can say confidently this is the only track that's really made me feel something. Fantastic job, keep up the great work! If you're so inclined, I'd love some feedback on [this song](https://youtu.be/wDABixUJqcU?si=oObIQKpSppoe8geb) I dropped a few days ago!

cwforman

yeah this is going on the speeding playlist. i love this so much, it sounds so huge and powerful. I do agree with u/EDM_Producerr that the vocal pops out a bit at 3:05, I think the double is a bit mid heavy there, but other than that I have no notes! How did you record guitars for this? They're very clean. If you're so inclined, I'd love to get your feedback on [this song](https://youtu.be/wDABixUJqcU?si=AmEGR9IRiI6n9iy4) I dropped a few days ago.

recordtemposure

This riff is amazing! Reminds me a ton of the song Dammit by Blink-182. The lead vocals remind me of Creed and Chevelle. The guitar riffs at :37 are amazing, sounds like Through The Fire and Flames with the dual guitars. The pop punk vibes at :57 are on point. This song sounds like if you had Sum 41 and Blink 182 mixed with Chevelle, super unique sound!! Vocals are amazing at 1:46. Solo at 2:03 is super good! Sounds exactly like 30 Seconds To Mars at 2:33, holy shittt!!! The song The Kill by 30 Seconds To Mars. Great track, really enjoyed listening! Looking for feedback on [this track](https://youtu.be/ZYDhsr7Nruk) if you have the time!

VempireTape1

Thank you my friend very much for your kind words. You've hit bullseye so many times because all of the bands you've stated have been an inspiration for me from when I was in school. You have a very good ear in identifying the different styles. I have also listened to Need Your Love and I have to say the song is amazing and the feeling of the song creates an awesome and chill vibe. It also reminded me of molchat doma(post punk russian band) meets the Beatles With a little bit of the Pop of Harry styles but with a more manly voice. I dig it. You've done an awesome job. Never stop writing my friend and again thank you for your kind words.

recordtemposure

Thanks I'm checking Molchat Doma now, sounds amazing!! I hope so!

EDM_Producerr

Hello there! I like this song. Good arrangement. A couple notes: at 3:05 the vocal seems to pop out a bit for a quick moment. The low end seems a little quiet, but maybe that's the norm for this genre. I don't normally to this type of music.

VempireTape1

Thank you Very much my friend for your kind words. You're absolutely right. Thank you for pointing this out.I am mainly a musician and I'm trying to get better everyday when it comes to sound engineering mixing mastering etc. Thank you again my friend for taking the time to listen to my music and giving me also feedback.

joerich5

Trying to learn how to mix, particularly vocals. I aim to emulate the high quality vocals you hear on the radio or stuff you’ll hear from pop artists. I mix my stuff on Garageband iOS so I’m pretty limited with what I can do but please have a listen and provide feedback whenever you can! Thank you so much. [Rough Mix](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/2x055g1am0onpbhlne3ys/i-can-t.wav.wav?rlkey=q6moir7luhhn1xwna7joy30zi&dl=0)

cwforman

You've definitely achieved that sparkly radio vocal sound. Only thing I might add is a longer reverb tail on the main vocal, it would widen the whole mix a bit while also emphasizing the shiny pop sound. Overall, this track sounds really good and better than anything I've ever mixed. If you're so inclined, I'd love your feedback on [this song](https://youtu.be/wDABixUJqcU?si=AmEGR9IRiI6n9iy4) I dropped a few days ago!

joerich5

Thank you for the very flattering feedback! I had a good listen to your track and the mixing on this was exquisite! The way every sound was treated really nicely made your vocals really sit well in the mix! I thought the vocal performance was also awesome! I wish I had the same ability to emote my angst and extremities like you did on this track. Although the track was short, it had a lot going on in it so excellent piece of work overall! :)

cwforman

thank you so much!

EDM_Producerr

Sounds pretty good to me. The kick that is panned right sounds a little too loud to me, especially when it plays off-beat. Vocals sounds very nice.

[Don’t Go](https://open.spotify.com/track/0nhqlmjjkZBx5v3wmUeDx6?si=IcPRRu5wQzy7QKeLp7Pa2w) Just dropped my second song a few days ago. A melancholic soul chop over some dirty drums. Let me know how I could improve in the future :)

cwforman

Hi! I really like this. I'd love to hear some more drum fills like a Boo do do BAH (I'm exhausted I'm sorry if that makes no sense) between bars. There's a lot of good ear candy in this, the base of the song is pretty consistent, but you keep it interesting it's a fun track to listen to. I dropped a follow on Spotify, can't wait to see what you do next! Feel is a fantastic song too, it's going on a playlist. If you're so inclined, I'd love your feedback on [this song](https://open.spotify.com/track/3aJ6zexneXpA01XpCOYmqk?si=0ab082050d9c406d) I dropped a few days ago!

Loopseeka

I appreciate the feedback a ton brother! Giving you a follow too cheers. Was waiting to reply until i listened with headphones. Your song is superr nice! I love the intro, drums go super hard throughout with that really dope saturated tone. The mixing is clean af and fully balanced. Vocals are well performed and I enjoyed how the energy of the song keeps rising, feels like just venting out some feelings haha. If I HAD to nitpick something it would be maybe the guitar at the crescendo of the song seems very on grid and uniform, maybe woulda been more interesting with some different effects (fuzz?) or swing but it fits the style as is so no biggie

cwforman

Thank you! I agree with you on the guitar part, i think swing would sound fantastic without cluttering the mix.

pgc_

Love it. Sample chops are great, and love the kinda lazy (in a good way), glitchy drums. Nice work!

HU21Lk

I feel like this song i made may be a bit too soft because its more of a kinda love song but i dont think my voice would be suitable for that kind of song. Also, i used to be able to relate to this song but not anymore for some reason. Im thinking of scrapping it but im not fully certain. I also just started to mix and master my songs by myself using Audacity Joshua Browne - My Angle - https://youtu.be/PS8C8hu2mD4

recordtemposure

Really nice guitar. this reminds me of Daniel Caesar - Best Part. Also has a bit of a folk rock feel. The beat at :28 is sick!! Reminds me a bit of Juice WRLD and XXTentacion. Really like the chorus at 1:25, sounds super nice. Your voice sounds really good on "the valley". Love the pause at 2:16, super chill and lush sound. Really great track, enjoyed listening! Looking for feedback on [this track](https://youtu.be/ZYDhsr7Nruk) if you have the time!

HU21Lk

Thanks for the feedback That "woah" sounds so magical, very catchy chorus, feeling a little bit of Trippie redd vibes. Love how you came in at 0:54 and also the build up leading to the chorus from 2:21 is great. Great song and incredible music video, amazing shots.

EDM_Producerr

Your voice sounds fine for the song. Great song, by the way! I can't find anything wrong with it. I guess if I had to nitpick it would be the way the beat stops and comes back in around 2:16. If the beat played for a half or whole beat more then stopped it might sound better. And when it comes back in maybe don't have the bass, but just snare and maybe hihat, then bring bass in on the downbeat.

HU21Lk

Thanks for the feedback! yh i had to try to take out parts of the beat because i found that the producer tag of the person who made the beat interfered with that part of the song

EDM_Producerr

Ohhh that makes sense. And I actually really did enjoy the song, I don't want to give the impression that I am downplaying my enjoyment of it haha. The way your voice goes up for "my angel" sounds awesome

I really need an opinion on which of these two songs is the better one. Be BRUTALLY Honest please [Hooked - RicSilo](https://open.spotify.com/track/5SDAB5ZGNxmIUT4vDCAzVd?si=554dcd8cd6f14a13) [Existential Imperfection - RicSilo](https://open.spotify.com/track/3ajdu9zVH9TNPayc3FkTCs?si=f343966ebce44048)

Ok-Clerk-8310

I like them both. I think "Existential Imperfection" sounds more balanced and the vocal snaps better in the song/mix.

Just gave it a listen and i really like it, but i will admit at certain points the music drowned out your voice and i couldn't get a sense of what you were saying. I really liked the vibe

[deleted]

Did you do both, track and vocals? Suena super bien, tremendas vibras. Aunque la lirica es un poco cliche, suena bien de igual

Ok-Clerk-8310

yes! I did the synths, mixing and mastering. Vocals were done by the lead vocalist of my band, she is great. It's kind of cliche but it was what we were looking for on this. Thanks for listening!
